I was a loyal Brooks Ghost person for many many years but decided to listen to my running friends who bragged about Hoka. My first Hoka shoes were the Bondis. After coming off of Ghosts, I found the Bondi shoe too squishy for my preference. But I was impressed with the fit and durability enough to try another model. The Clifton 8's were everything I hoped they would be! I've put about 100 miles on them and have been completely satisfied how they perform. My only gripe is that they are the squeakiest shoes I have ever bought! I can't walk past my sleeping wife without waking her up with the squeaks. No big deal as I carry them out to put them on in the kitchen.

In a period of 2 weeks after wearing my Clifton's 2 addition pair of Hoka's were delivered. Excellent feel, very responsive and light. Great job Hoka found my brand.

New version (8) continues the tradition. Great- comfortable , smooth and heel isn't as stiff as prior version.

I wear this shoe as a casual shoe. It very comfortable. I like the color and the shoe is well constructed.

Doesn't look like you're on platforms but you get that legendary cushy Hoka feel under foot. The shape of this shoe is flawless. Love the curvature. Adidas shoes for example, all look tapered and almost pointy. I can't stand that. These look perfect on foot. Feel incredible. No one else makes a shoe like this. I have fully drunk the Hoka kool-aid. The Bondi X's im in love with as well. For what it's worth.

I started out using this just for jogging but they are so comfortable I'm going to buy a pair for casual wear.

My right knee was and someone recommended me Hoka Clifton. These are the shoes I had in my entire life and will again. I have recommended Hoka to my friends and family.
