I have been a New Balance user for a long time. But, the new extra wide sneaker that fit well was too expensive. My son recommended Hoka and I bought a pair. Overall a nice fit and a nice looking sneaker. But, extra wide is not as wide as the New Balance. Went for walks with the Hokas and it was comfortable. So I am keeping them.

I ordered a pair of Clifton 8's as the reviews were all really good. Myself I did not like the fit, I have a pair of Rincons and they are by far the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn so I had high hopes for the Clifton but they're not for me. I will probably order another pair of Rincon.

I purchased the men's shoe because they always seem to fit better, but not this time. The shoe was the same size that I had purchased before in the Clinton 8. However, this time, it was too tight and did not fit well.

need more options in x-wide

I own 2 pairs of Clifton 6s 3 pair of Bondi 6s and a new pair of trail hiking boots. All have been great in fit and comfort. This latest pair of Clifton 8s that I bought fit much tighter and almost feel small compared to all my other Hoka shoes. I've been wearing them every day only to the gym to work out hoping that they will break in , but this doesn't seem to be getting better. The 9.5 size I ordered seem to be length appropriate, but the width is very tight. I also don't like that you took away the loop that helps when pulling them on your foot. I'm 61 years old and I love Hoka shoes and they've really helped me with being on my feet for extended periods.

6/7 miles active walk per day. Felt too disconnected from ground and too bulky, not heavy but bulky. Like wearing moon boots. I was happy to remove them after 2hrs of walking, my feet too. May be too much cushion. Any other models to try for active walking?

I received the shoes, without any shipping notice or order confirmation, they don't fit and I have no contact information to get my issue resolved. I purchased them using PayPal and opened a dispute. All I want is a wide size verses the regular width I received, but without any contact info I cannot get the issue resolved.

I love the look of the shoe. Love the light weight of the shoe. However, very disappointed in the support the shoe provides. And this is just for me. I walk allot and ride a mountain bike allot. Also do strength training with free weights and cables. As an older person, I need more of a supportive shoe and these didn't do it for me.

overall the shoe appears pretty good, but the left shoe/foot is already giving me issues. When I insert my foot, on the left one only, the ball of my foot goes across a rather hard ridge that appears to be where the upper sole and fabric meet. It does not bother me once past that point, but the outside edge has a similar issue and that one is starting to rub my foot the wrong way. Maybe I just got a hic-cup in the assembly line?

Shoes are extremely supportive and very comfortable but when I'm walking the left shoe squeaks.

I usually race walk early in the morning and these shoes squeak so bad that they wake dogs up! The squeaking and barking dogs are annoying. Also, the heels of the shoes seem a little flat (not as much cushion as they should have).

I feel these are not as comfortable as my Mach 5 sneakers,but definitely a worthwhile purchase. I feel the arch a little more pronounced in this sneaker.

not the right combination of support and comfort

Great feel under foot but too tight for wide foots

I use this product for everyday use to run my errands. It is not tight on my foot like other shoes and has lots of support.

4th pair. Three were rrincons. This pair was a Clifton. Size not that same as ronins. Run smaller. Not the same fit as as before, very uncomfortable

Don't like these as much as my speedgoats. Unfortunately they were out of my color, so I tried these.
