The Clifton seems like a nice about of bounce needed for me. I don't run but have metal in my ankle and knee after a motorcycle accident. The only reason I take off a star is because of the fitting around the heel. I ordered a wide for the first time since many HOKAs like the Speedgoat seem to be getting more narrow. While I appreciate the extra room in the toe box, the heel seems to now be a bit wide. The insole at the heel seems to have a high lip and it rubs against the inside of my heel.

Good shoe but I like the Bondi better. This shoe is lighter but does not offer as much support as the Bondi

Shoes were very comfy, but the right heel had a weird noise and feeling with every step. Reminded me of a busted airmax bubble. I have returned to exchange for the exact same pair, hopefully the second pair is better.

Love the cushion but also the support in the ankle area

Use it for work, and it is really comfortable!!!!

Been running for 45 years and continue to run a minimum of 5 miles every day. Have not experienced any injuries or "hot spots" when wearing these shoes. I wear a 2E wide and the color selection is poor. Also the soles seem to wear down quicker than other shoe brands but I will consider buying these again.

I walk 50 miles per week

I wear my Clifton 8 for about 10-12 hours a day. It's very comfortable in the morning however ,I feel mid sole pressure by afternoon. Otherwise comfortable .

The Clifton 8 was an impressive shoe and quality and materials were outstanding, fit was good, however I had to return due to it just not being right for my foot, Customer Service was good, refund was fast

Good support and comfortable! Can be a little squeaky.

Fits good and comfortable the only bad part is the colors online are not the same shade in person & also get a half size up.

After wearing out the souls and the padding of a competitor's similarly priced shoe in under 60 days, I decided to try the Clifton. Two weeks and 50 miles later, the souls are like new and the padding is keeping me pain free. So far so good.

I walk and fish ponds and sand pits. I wanted to try a cushioned shoe for concrete. I use the lower drop NB stuff now. (I have hip and knee issues that make high-drop shoes impossible to wear.) I have been using Altra for trail shoes, but they have never solved their sizing issues to my satisfaction. I tried Skechers but they were of poor quality. If I get some longevity out of the Cliftons, I may try the trail models.

I purchased two pair of Hoka shoes. The Araha and The Clifford. I have tried both shoes around the house and I cannot seem to tell much difference between the two. I actually like the look of the Cliifford little more than the Araha but the Araha may be slightly more comfortable. The fit is very true. I wear a 9.5 medium and both shoes fit perfectly. I can sense a small amount of pressure on my instep on the Clifford or my decision would be made. I have high arches so a high Instep should be better for me. Both shoes are great looking, both feel comfortable but I give a very slight edge to the Araha.
