So glad they make wide sizes! I wear these shoes for marathon running and training. In my opinion, the length fit is a tad more snug than the Clifton 7s but still okay; the toebox is still spacious. The 8 is notably lighter than the 7 which feels great on my feet. After I broke in the 7s the cushion felt a little bouncier and I hope the same happens for the 8s.

If you love Cliftons you will love these- they are far superior to the 7s. The tongue is yummy and soft- it's a lot more cushioned than the Mach 4- and more durable. I am very pleased.

Not sure why they narrowed the toe box so much on the 7 but we are back to the Clifton I know and love! Had two pairs of 6 and couldn't tolerate the 7 so switched to Rincon but am back to the Clifton. Thank you!
