I wanted these to wear for teaching 1st grade and walking in general - I had heard good things about Hokas (I usually wear Brooks) and wanted to try them. I ordered an 8w like I do in Brooks, and they felt good when I put them on, but halfway through the day the bunion on my right foot hurt so bad I had to take my shoe off. The same thing happened after another couple tries and I have been worried to try them again. So disappointing after spending a big hunk of change on a pair of shoes that I wanted to love.

I purposely bought the Clifton 8 even thought the 9 was available because I wanted the exact same cushiony feel that I experienced in my Clifton 8s that I owned and that I expected to receive from this purchase. The ones from HOKA were very stiff and seemed like a different shoe. I don't think I will ever buy online again. I subsequently tried on the Clifton 9 at a store and they did not seem cushiony at all either. Perhaps different manufacturing, just like UGG boots went through.

The color is amazing tons of compliments too. However the shoes are appaerntly made narrow.

Hello, I love the overall comfort and was so happy with these new hokas. However, after breaking them in last week, I finally wore them on a 12 mile run yesterday and noticed I had a blood blister after. When I checked my shoes, there's already a hole in the heel! I have worn these on 7 runs with only 1 being longer than 8 miles. I am hoping this is just a defect to this particular shoe!

I wanted a pair of Hokas so bad. I ordered my normal 11w. . I am a regular wide but these shoes couldn't begin to fit. The makeup of the tongue is so that it won't stretch out far enough to put the shoes on. The frame of the shoe is also surprisingly tight. And I will continue to think that walking on thick foam isn't good support. Very disappointed in these much-hyped shoe. The color and design of the shoe were awesome though.

I was so hyped about these shoes but after wearing them for 1 week my feet were in pain. I gave them a break thinking I needed to break them in so I tried again 5 days later and sadly the foot pain came back. Tried this again over the next few weeks and nope, they clearly are not for me.

I heard so much hype about the brand. I ordered a pair and the right shoe was uncomfortable because the inner sole was defective. They were returned .

This is the third pair of Hoka's that I have purchased. I love the Hoka shoes. However, I need to return the most recent purchase because they squeak whenever I'm walking. It's horrible, even though I love the show.

Heel cushion they are great for but that feeling went away throughout the day! Top part of the shoe has left a terrible bruise on my feet

Work at a subway restaurant. On feet 9 hrs or more

Felt good first day but the inside of the shoe wasn't comfortable. My feet hurt wearing them all day.

Didn't align with my arches. I sent them back. $10 shipping was not refunded.

I have been wearing them for 2 weeks and the reflection pieces are peeling off. They are very comfortable but now they look bad.

This is my 3rd pair . My others fit perfect. This pair rubs on the interior arch for some reason .

Everything I'm buying lately seems to have suffered in quality. I used to put my hocus on and feel immediately comfortable. These were OK but not the comfortable fit and soft offers are used to enjoy. But yet offer the same money.

The shoes are not comfortable for me as a runner. I have increase arch pain.

I should have bought the bondi. The Clifton hurts my foot

These shoes are very comfortable for a casual walk around the block. However, I use them for 5+ mile power walks. They make my calves ache so badly after only a mile. I'm guessing it's because of the softness of the sole. They also make my feet go numb after a mile or two. I've loosened the laces so much that the shoe moves around on my foot. This does not help. My heel slips no matter how I lace the shoes. They are soooo comfortable, but not for long power walks or run, for that matter.
