This shoe has the arc to way to high on the in part of the show

PEOPLE AT WORK WERE RAVING HOE COMFORTABLE THESE SNEAKERS ARE, SO MUCH SO THEY NEVER WANTED TO TAKE THEM OFF. I DIDN'T AGREE. THEY WERE OK BUT NOT ALL THAT . AFTER WEARING THEM FOR A DAY , I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE INSTEP. OVERALL, THEY WERE NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

I had gone to an athletic specialty store and they fitted me for some Hoka shoes. I absolutely LOVED them! So, I decided to purchase some more online. They were not the exact same type that I had purchased prior, but very close to it. I was so excited that they had arrived. I tried them on and was feeling just eh. They looked amazing, but I did not have that same amazement when it came to how they felt. I put them on, walked upstairs in my home, and immediately took them off. They hurt so badly. The instep had my arch on fire after 12 steps. I couldn't believe it. These were nothing like what I thought I was purchasing. I was so disappointed. I wanted another shoe like what I had. The ones I have had me feeling like I was walking on clouds. I wore the first purchased pair to a festival and walked around for 7 hours. My feet didn't hurt once. I was looking for that same satisfaction in this new pair. Not At All! How do I return these?

But they were too narrow for me! Need to try them on for correct fit.

Shoes are very good, true to size. The PROBLEM was in shipping. It arrived in a VERY large boxoriginal box appeared to have been opened and shoes replaced in a .VERY large box. Sloppy repackaging told both store clerk and myself that it MUST have been tampered with. It's risky to order online. I'm glad the shoes arrived and are just as I ordered but fear it may happen again with my shoes MISSING or tampered with.

I ordered regular but got wide. Huge inconvenience

I wanted to love these because I've had Cliftons in the past but every time I walked or ran in these shoes, the ankles and the tops of my feet would ache SO bad. I went to a Fleet Feet to understand why and they said the shoes aren't good for high arches and high instep. Because my foot is "taller" (high instep) and the tongue of this shoe is connected, it is straining on the top of my foot. Returning them.

I have another style of Hoka and am pleased. Just not with this style

First pair for me. Needed to return them. Was sent the wide version--still not sure if that was my fault or not. What I didn't care for was the back of the shoe near the heel. Has a very 'aero' design that I found uncomfortable around my achilles. Looking at other styles that don't have that heel design.

I'm not sure what to do. Same exact shoes. Same size. But something's not right?! They are pretty good shoes, but not as good as I expected. It is a great shoe, but I'm not sure that I would buy them again...

I bought a pair of these about 3 years ago and lasted so long but it started to wear down on the ankles. I got these thinking they were the same and I was completely wrong! It hurt my feet so bad that I can't even wear them to work. I work about 8 hour days and they hurt my feet. Really want to return them because they aren't up to my expectations.

I am a big fan of Hoka's. This pair feels much smaller than my last pair(s).

I previously purchased the Mach 4s and wore them out I loved them so much. With the Clifton's being so highly rated, I was excited only to be quickly disappointed. I walk around 15k steps a day, road or sidewalk, no running. While the shoes ultimately felt fine, they caused me blisters in a way I've never experienced. The tread is nearly worn off (I've had them for 6 weeks yesterday) and my knees are constantly sore after wearing them a couple hours. For comparison, I switched back to the Machs which are virtually bald where the tread once was, and had no issues. Usually my shoes will last a minimum of 3 months. Will definitely try another shoe again but not the Clifton's.

Had to get wide and it still feels like a regular fit.

The shoes we're supposed to be wide but they were too narrow and the tongue was sewn into the liner of the shoes so there they were snug in that direction as well.

Unfortunately these shoes killed my feet. I am a supinator and normally buy neutral, cushioned shoes. Thought the Clifton would work but will be returning.

These were so comfortable so I was very upset when they started falling apart after just a few months I literally had glue them back together in several sposts till I can buy a new pair of shoes.

The bottom is good but the inner sole is a bit too thin for me, my feet hurts after walking a mile

I have purchased wide in the other Hoka's I have bought and they fit perfectly. The wide for the Clifton are very narrow.

Gave me blisters and rubbed all the wrong spots. I do have problem feet, but friends recommended these!

I love that the shoes are light weight and comfortable. I do not like that the fact that I have had the shoes just over a month and the bottom of the sole has started to separate. For the price of these shoes they should be put together way better. I bought these because my other shoes were worn out. I don't want to go buy another pair of shoes. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I wish that the shoes would come in a wider width for more comfort and they would be in more stores so they could be tried on

I wear a 10W - and I have ASICS and Adidas in a 10W that fit perfectly. The HOKAs did not - they are not wide ... the fit was snug, and after just a few hours of wearing, the outside of my foot actually hurt. They are comfortable on the bottom for sure, feels like you are walking on air. It'd just be nice if they fit. Had to return both pair that I ordered.

Returned, the fit was not right for me. Sole was to wide for my comfort. I would still recommend people try them and decide.
