I had to return these because they were too narrow. I wear B width in the Rincon but need wide in the Clifton. I can't get wide because they are on backorder which would probably indicate that the B width is too narrow for a lot of people. So now I wait I've worn Clifton since the first version and that was the only one that fit. After that they have been too narrow and I need wide. I don't have wide feet this is the only shoe I need wide in.

Loved the style, but it aggravated my Achilles bursitis. Trying to find another style that doesn't. I do love Hokas! Just trying to find the right one for me!

I put the right one on and the fit was amazing! I was super excited to get the left one on and walk around the house. I put it on and something just didn't feel right. I stood up and my foot was cockeyed and the left side of the shoe was pushing my foot into the right side of the shoe. I felt like I was walking on my arch! I measured and the sole is bigger!! These shoes aren't mates and the left shoe is seriously defective. Such a shame that at this price point something like this got by QC. So I'm giving the right shoe a 5 but the left shoe gets a 0.

Very comfortable, an excellent shoe. Way too big though. Have to return and order a different size. Also, they looked clunky and wider than a typical B-width shoe.

Comfortable shoe but I'm returning it because the new tongue design is flawed. It's made out of a stiff and almost sharp edged fabric which digs into the top of my ankle and hurts. The tongues on all my previous Hoka's were soft and worked just fine. Why fix something that isn't broken Hoka?

I love my Hokas because they are very comfortable and cute. However, they are not the best quality. I've only had them for a year and the fabric by the heel is already worn out and there are holes.

I have been a Saucony brand devotee for about 29 years. A friend recommended Hoka One one after raving about them for a few weeks. These are my second pair after my first pair lasted almost 9 months. I liked my first pair of hoka one one. I run an average of 12 -15 miles a week both on the treadmill and outdoors. So I bought these mid june. Sold out on Zappos so I had to order right from hoke one one. I loved them for about 2 months. Cushion was great but not bulky, liked the tongue sewn to the shoe, liked the colors (some of these other brands new color combos… super ugly). Beginning of September I notice the cushion was flat, treads were gone and I could see the cushion underneath. I was having ankle, Achilles and shin splint pain. Had to cut down to 6 miles a week and went back to Saucony brand. So disappointed these couldn’t last more than three months. Well back to old reliable Saucony!

The toebox is more narrow than the CLIFTON 7. I have four other pair of Hoka's, size 8 and have not had this problem.

I have flat feet. These are no good for flat feet or plantar fasciitis…the arch pushes up on you arch making the top of your foot push against top of shoe. Wore 2x. Not worth the sore feet after wearing them. Hurts to walk in them

These were very uncomfortable immediately as I put them on, although size seemed fine.

Super cute. Love the style and color. They do run a bit wide, and don’t feel like they provide a lot of support.

My first pair of Hokas were the Clifton 7's. I absolutely love them, then I got Bondi which I love too. I recently got the Clifton 8 and I unfortunately do not like these as well as the 7's. The toe is boxier, the distance between the eyelets is to wide, the tongue is thicker and the black line between the material and sole is chipping, it's not the same as on the 7's so unfortunately I probably won't buy 8's again, hopefully 9's will be better or find 7's on clearance.

I LOVE hokas and wanted to love this pair, but couldn’t get over how far the Achilles pull tab sticks out from the shoe. It sticks out so far that any scrub pant style other than joggers will get hung up on them. If you wear jogger scrub pants, this won’t be an issue for you and I would highly recommend them. Everything is an improvement from the Clifton 7 EXCEPT for the pull tab. Because of the pull tab I’ll be returning them.

I still really like this shoe but miss some of the lift and cushion that I felt in the 7. Still getting good time in this one and might prefer it for race day but for training I'm going to search for a pair of the 7 model online. Love the colors but feel a little more rolling in for my gait in the 8 vs. the 7 New to HOKAS but definitely a step up in shoes - I figure this way I'll get lots of mileage out of my kicks for the next year or so if I rotate through the models.

Sooo disappointed. Clifton 5 and 6 were amazing but 7 and 8 are 1/2 inch longer and narrow.

I guess I expected more because of the price. Standing on my feet all day I thought they would help but they are no better than my sneakers that cost a lot less

I have the Clifton 4 so I ordered this new Clifton 8 in the same size. It was quite a bit longer and wider than my old Clifton. If you need a wider toe box you will probably like this model but it did not work for me.
