I prffer the Bondi 7's

Although I converted my wife from a die hard Brooks runner to Hoka, the Clifton 8 was a different fit for her than is the Clifton 9. She says that the 8 feels a little less roomy and narrow in the box while the 9 feels great right from the get-go and for all of her runs. I have ran in Clifton's for years which have all but eliminated my chronic knee pain. Knowing that reach release has its own tweaks and changes, all in all, can't say enough good things about Hoka!

For me the shoe is very firm and stiff . I would like some cushion to these shoes.

I purchased the Clifton, but returned it for the Hoka Bondi 8 because of my wide feet and bad bunions. The Bondi 8 are perfect for me. I would give them a 5. Now I am able to walk comfortably for longer periods of time.

It took me a little bit to get used to these shoes. As you get older you body is making adjustments to itself. I was looking for a shoe with a little more beef to it. I've tried alot of different brands of shoes I like these as I continue to wear them and will most likely order more.

Like the comfort and support the shoes provide.

I bought these on a recommendation from a friend. I've been getting plantar fasciitis pains in my feet, and wanted to try these. I have wide feet that pronate and usually wear Asics. The sole is nice and cushioned and they are wide enough, but there is little to no arch support and I have to use insoles anyway. Definitely underwhelming for the cost.

I love the color and for the most part, the fit. It's a little strange, the tops seem to indent a bit. But, that doesn't seem to deter from the fit. I have VERY bad feet and Hoka is the only shoe I'll buy. My physical therapist recommended them to me back in 2021 and I've been in love with them ever since. I can only wear tennis shoes so I have a black pair and the lovely orange. And, I've had blue and another color. I've had more compliments on these 2 colorswhich was somewhat of a surprise. The design is just so beautiful.

I really wanted these shoes and love the color. The problem is that the inner seam on the left shoe near the laces is rough and rubs my foot if I don't wear socks. Hopefully, in time, after several seatings, it will smooth itself. Otherwise, I'm happy. I will not buy these again online- only in a store.

I have a pair of Clifton 9 and absolutely love them. I decided to order a different color in Clifton 8 because they were on sale, but they don't fit the same way. I had to exchange the Clifton 8 for a wide width. The Clifton 8 runs much narrower than the Clifton 9.

I love wearing this shoe! I feel such support that my knees don't ache. I wear an 11W and it has always been difficult to find cute Women's gym shoes that fit and have such scientific support without looking like an orthopedic shoe! One think though is that because the tongue is attached at the sides, the shoe takes a little extra time to get on.

Maybe my previous pair was just broken in, but my new pair aren't as cushioned, and less comfortable as a result. Good arch support, and they fit wee so I'll keep them.

I use to shoes for walking mostly. Not sure about the tongue being attached with the stretch elastic pieces in the shoe. The right shoe goes on easily but the left shoe tongue is a little tighter and it makes harder to put the shoe on.

I like how comfortable they are. However I feel the Mach 5 has better support as I have bad feet and when I'm walking longer distances they dont have the same comfort as the Mach 5.

I purchased the Clifton 6 or 7's (I don't remember) about 2-3 years ago and I was very happy. Time has pushed me to purchase another pair and I bought the 8'd (I think). I love the colors and my feet are relieved. I'm not an avid runner, I run twice a week for about 3 miles. Taking these to walk at Disneyland are also major. Thank you Hoka :)

Extremely comfortable and supportive for walking. There is just enough "squish" in the sole when I step, but they're still very supportive. My only request would be a little higher arch support.

These are my everyday all day long shoes. I wear them to work, taking care of home health clients....cleaning their house, running errands for them, etc. Then I come home and wear them on my 3 mile walk to exercise and wear out the puppy. They are the most comfortable shoes ever. I don't really want to take them off!

The Clifton 8's have great cushion and nice wide toe area. The arch is a little high for me. Getting use to it. Would repurchase.

Maybe my hopes were too high. I have been inundated recently with people telling me I should buy HOKAs. They are a bit out of my normal price range, but, by waiting for a sale, and getting a discount as a first-time purchaser, I managed to get the price down and took the plunge. The cushioning is wonderful, and I got used to the "rocker" style soles, but by the end of the day, my feet are very tired when I wear them, and they feel too "shallow", by which I mean they are wide enough, and long enough, but put pressure on my toes from the top.

The only complaint I have is they run big, I would have been much happier with 7 1/2

It's very comfortable. I love the top of the shoe Color. Wish the bottom color was black or white. Should have gone with a 6.5 size. Runs a little bigger than Nike brand.

I wear my Hokas to work.

I tried these on and they were super comfortable. Unfortunately I have the end of the laces hit right where I have arthritis/bone spur at the base of my large toe. By the end of the day my foot was screaming and I had to take the shoe off of that foot. My other foot one was fine. I don't have a problem with my speed goats so it's me not you. Lol

I got the wide model and it was more than enough room for my wide feet.
