They're comfortable. Are they the most incredible shoes ever? No. Not sure they're worth the hype/price tag, although I haven't worn them on a long walk yet. All that said, I will keep them and enjoy them. Good pair of basic sneakers. I purchased the wide and if you think you need the wide- get it. It's even a bit too narrow for me still (I do have wide feet however).

I purchased the Clifton 8 on sale. I wasn't sure I would like it because I purchased it in the past and wasn't a big fan of that model. I thought for the sale price I could wear it for errand days. I love the bondi and have been wearing it for years. I put the Clifton 8 on and it has this weird hard piece between my heel and my midsole on the outside of my foot. I immediately thought this won't work as I noticed it every time I took a step. I do not like to send purchases back so I decided to give it a try for my 12 hour shift at the hospital. I took my bondi as a back up. For the first hour or two I felt that piece I mentioned but after several hours I didn't notice it at all. I am not a shoe expert but I assume it is a stabilizer to correct supination, that darn outward roll of my foot. I was pleasantly surprised that after a few more hours I didn't notice it at all. I purchased a wide width because I wanted the extra room which in reality is only like 1/8 of an inch but it definitely felt good to have that extra room. After 12 hours I didn't feel any fatigue in my foot other than the fact that I walk on them for 12 hours a day at work. I still love my bondi but the Clifton has a slimmer and nicer appearance compared to the bondi that is plush and has that heel height that you get with plush cushion. I like the plush cushion of bondi but the Clifton 8 appears to work just fine with the wider width even though the heel isn't as cushioned as the bondi. I would definitely recommend the Clifton 8 I don't know about whether the Clifton 9 is the exact same shoe as the 8 but it's worth trying. I have plantar fasciitis and I have supination on my right foot that is pronounced. I don't run but I do walk about 13-14 thousand steps a day at work. As a Respiratory Therapist who is on my feet the majority of my day I would say the Clifton is a good choice. I would like to try the Rocket but the price is a little out of my price range. Definitely a good purchase.

I loved the product. Unfortunately, I have a difficult time getting a good fit. The right shoe was perfect but left didn't align correctly. This has been a problem due to foot injury. Can't fault the shoe.

Apparently Nike shoes run smaller than Hoka, so I recommend going half size up if you had Nike before. Or else your heel will ride up. Another problem is the Tongue gusset is cutting into the top of my feet from being really tight. Other than that, the cushion is nice.

This shoe fits true to size and supports me while walking 2 miles a day. I did need to put supportive inserts for impact and arch. I would buy again

The only reason I don't give them the full 5 stars is because they're not as stable as I expected them to be. But the cushion was the main reason I bought them and they're fabulous. No pain on my feet as I run! (Which was the case before this purchase).

I am always standing and walking. These shoes have helped my foot pain tremendously! The first couple of days, I was questioning my decision, but after my feet adjusted to the shoes I definitely could tell a difference in my pain level by the end of the day.

Got this Cliftons and thought the arch was too high and hurt my feet. I wore them for short periods in the beginning and that did the trick, they needed a little breaking in and for my feet to get used to the hard arches. I have long narrow feet. These are what I'm currently wearing. I'm on my feet all day, tending the animals... very physically demanding, and now my feet don't hurt (or at least much less). Also, switched to oofos and any footwear to support my big hard-working self. When you are a heavier person, you need better footwear to support all that weight. Also am older and everything is creaking and aching, I don't do cheap footwear anymore, I may not be able to drive expensive sportcars and take fancy vacays but I spend on my feet.

I bought Clifton 7 and they were comfortable from the second I put them on. They were my treadmill shoes and when I wore them out, I bought the Clifton 8. They were not as comfortable and had a different feel. They seemed to not come up as far around my ankles, the tongue of the show not coming up as far, and the sole not as padded. I am going to give them a shot, however, because they are well made shoes.

This is my second pair of Hoka's , when I walked for 45 minutes, I felt pain under my toes. I took out the insole and replaced it with a previously purchased one from my first pair of Hoka's. That worked, no more pain. The shoes do feel a "little" tight in the width.

I have some torn achilles tendons that are in the mend so I was looking for a shoe to help with comfort. This shoe is comfortable overall, but the back of the shoe bothers my heel a bit and after wearing for 8 hours my foot is hurting. I was hoping the shoe would help with that. I alternate shoes so that helps somewhat.

I have a bunion and some plantar fasciitis, and these shoes, so far, have performed well for me! Color was a bit different than it looked like on the website, but that's to be expected when ordering online.

Love the easy comfort for an everyday shoe! I am definitely not a runner. The only issue I have almost a year down the line is that the heel has become kind of sloppy. And I certainly wish you could wash them!

I like how softly supportive these shoes are. I would like a more prominent support at my feet fascia.

It's comfortable to wear but the cushioning insert seems narrow and I don't have wide feet but can feel the edge of the insert.

I bought these specifically for the arch. I have plantar fasciitis and hoped the arch would help me. I think so far it will, my feet are very sore but I believe that means it's working!! I usually wear flat shoes and my feet are in shock with this high arch! Hope to get some relief once my feet adapt and break these shoes in!
