I run on street and track surface. I can see using that Hoka's on the street. They are not totally comfortable. The top crunches down for some reason.

I have plantar fasciitis. The first time I tried Bondi X at home It felt hard on my feet but I wanted to give it a chance. I waited to see how it feels after a week of my cortisone injection, I wore them for a couple of hours but still wasn't feeling right, then I waited another week. I went to work with them and I was really unhappy, I got pain on my feet. Bondi X are narrow and hard on my feet comparing to Bondi 8. Each time I had to go back to my old Bondi 8. Now I'm retuning for exchange to Bondi 8.

I did not care for the shoe because they appeared to be big and clunky and stiff. I did not wear them to run so I can not give an accurate review of the shoe.

They are comfortable but a little too stiff.. so I sent them back. I didn't like the tongue either.

I work in a hospital and the plush cushioning was great in this shoe, however, the tongue and and around the ankle left a lot to be desired. No cushioning there at all!!! Had to return these as they were hurting my ankles.

This is a great shoe. Don't get me wrong. Just not for me. The arch is wrong and shoe too bulky and heavy for me. I always used new balance 1080s before. And wanted to see what the hype is about. I'll go back to my regular shoe. But it's a cool looking shoe.

These unfortunately didn't work out. I normally stick with Asics and maybe these are heavier.

The Bondi X is great in that it is very cushiony and stable. Love that. Also, the slight spring from the plate is nice. The spring seems to be softened from the squish of the sole. That's fine, though. My knees and hips don't hurt while running, anymore. My problem is with the tongue. To lace the shoes in the heel lock fashion, the laces come right across the tendon at the top of my foot and hurts. I've tried different lace up jobs, but then my heel slips up and down in the shoe. Anyway... it's a good shoe, but not great for my feet.

Love the shoes, HATE the tongue. This shoe would be perfect , the ultimate in comfort if it had a padded tongue. The current tongue is quite uncomfortable leaves my foot sore. . Dang so frustrating. Though I like the shoe, I can't recommend it. I would recommend the Bondi 8 over the X simply because of the tongue.

The tongue is way too short and very thin. You'll have to wear longer socks when using this shoe. It rubs at the top bend of the ankle. Not as "plush" as the shoes is described.

Podiatrist says Hoka shoes run very narrow and to order wide width and 1/2 size larger.

I really wanted to love these. I can say they were comfortable but they felt like they were stabbing the side of my foot which is an issue I have with lots of shoes, and it makes it hard to find anything that works for me. After wearing them for a full day at work my lower back, hips and feet were killing me which isn’t normal and definitely not a good thing. And I felt that same way the next day. I did a random pair that I normally wear just to compare and I didn’t have the issue.

Very disappointed for the $$$. Not as much cushion as lower priced shoes. Other runners commented that they love the color- got the yellow with orange.

I love, love, Hokas but not a fan of this style. Very clunky. Doesnt seem as supporting as before and Im a nurse and I need it. Also, pretty "squeaky" on tile floors. Color dulls and stains pretty quickly.

I'm obsessed with Hokas but this particular one is super super low in the heel so it slips sooo bad. You have to wear grip socks, tie your shoes real tight. I even went to a smaller size in hopes they wouldn't slip and they do? They rub so bad in the heel.

I ordered these according to the size chart which was wrong. I need to go down half a size. My feet feel like they’re swimming. Hard to tell the comfort level because of sizing because it doesn’t hit my foot in the right places. Not sure if I will exchange or return outright. They don’t have the size I need in the shoes I bought.

These shoes are attractive and comfortable but the extended heel gets caught on stairs and when just walking, I can trip on the heels with the toe of the other shoe. Unique problem, I've never had with another pair of shoes.

I'm not as fond of the first pair I bought. Nice looking shoe but not as supportive as I thought they would be. My foot slides inward so it's more pain in my knees. Not as strong on the sides as my first pair I bought and not as comfortable. I can't even feel the difference on the heel. Assuming it would matter due to the design

HOKA changed the design and played with sizing a few years ago. I was happy to find the BONDI X since it fit more like the original BONDI. However, the sizing is still not right. Why mess with a good product?

Purchased white Bondi X several months ago. Love the comfort but the tongue is so short I have to use pliers to pull it up every time I fully lace the shoe. I don't know if you have addressed that issue with the new colors above. If so, I would buy again.

Got these shoes because Hoka is all the rage and I've heard so many good things. I run 20 miles a week outside and on a treadmill. My go to running shoe for years has been Nike free runs. These Hokas are just ok. They run a half to full size too big so I had to exchange twice. These shoes are too much cushion for my liking. I can run 5 miles in them, but they get too hot around mile 2. They don't hurt to run in, they're just not comfortable. I do like them for walking and running errands. Super cute look, love the yellow and orange conbo, have received many compliments on them. Just depends your cushion preference for running.
