Still waiting to break-in the shoes

I wanted to try something with a little more cushion in the heel -- that's what I got. I knew the construction is wider and extends beyond the heel more than the other Hokas I have. It took a little getting used to, but after the first wearing it was fine. Comfort -- check. Stabillity -- check. Lightweight -- check. Good look -- check.

I followed the size guide but they are big and bulky and I feel strange wearing them

I love everything about the comfort of these shoes. I do not love the tongues of the shoes. They're too short in the middle which makes them hard to pull up after you get the shoes on.

I just cannot find the right size. Tried a 10.5 after the 10 felt too small. This one is way too big. Heel sliding up and down and toes have too much room. I feel too 'elevated' on the road and am learning that I like to be more in control. Hokas might be comfortable for many runners , I feel like my form is going south.

The only thing that keeps me from giving this shoe 5 stars is the design of the tongue. It is a semi-"split" tongue and it always bunches down into the shoe when putting the shoe on. It's also thin, which isn't necessarily bad, but it makes it hard to grasp when it's bunched down in the shoe. The cushion level is excellent for my plantar fasciitis problem. The color options could be improved, too. Overall though, they are great shoes, but they ought to be for the price I paid!!!

only wore the X around the house so far, they are very cushiony, excellent support. I have been having problems with my ankle and so far these are the only shoes I can wear for a period of time. I will respond in a weekend tell you after I take a good walk or run. The Bondi 8 was disappointing, not very good cushion and the ball of my foot was killing me. I am returning the 8.But the X has a fighting chance!!

Wore them the first couple of times for only 3/4 hours, first day at work wearing them for 8-9 hours, my feet were killing me after the first few hours. Finally started feeling better towards the end of the day. I'm hoping the trend continues

I didnt feel too much difference from the carbon plate. I was expecting it to be as plush as the bondi 7, but they were less plush. It's not a bad shoeI just LIVE for the max plush shoes.

This is an amazing shoe but I did have some issues with it. I wear an 8 1/2 M and the fit was good except for slippage in the heel. To counteract that I use the extra top lace grommets - but that didn't work too well because the tongue was too short and slipped back under the laces. I also didn't counteract the heel slippage unless the lacing was too tight. I tried it on the road and on trails. It has an oversized footbed which didn't work on trails and actually caused a groin strain on the longer runs. I will be sending it back with hopes I can exchange for the Hoka Tecton X trail shoe.

I am on my feet all day and have no pain or bodyaches wearing these super comfortable shoes. I only wish they came with an insert the converted the high arch to a normal arch.

I will definitely buy another pair. The support is fabulous! I have very low arches & these offset so much support & comfort. However, they kind of make my feet look like clown feet. The soles extend past your heel. Also, I think I will try going down a half size as they slip off my heel a little when I walk.

I really like this shoe but it's not as soft as Bondi 7

Product was ok. I was expecting the same cushioning and propel and the Carbon X.
