Bought this backpack back in April - I did a lot of research on which one to get within my price range, and this was the leading contender. After 8 months of everyday, continuous use, there are things I absolutely love and a few things I am not a fan of - here they are! I love the durability of this backpack. It's held up super well, especially with as much as I use it and pack in it on a daily basis. No real or major signs of wear and tear. The main compartment is super roomy. I keep two pairs of jeans in there everyday, along with some pairs of underwear, socks, a work shirt and a travel kit with toothbrush, floss, etc. Sometimes I even pack a microwave meal in there or a drink or two. The other pockets are also very useful, I'm able to keep all of my smaller belongings (headphones, chapstick, wallet, etc.) stored with no issues. Let's talk about the comfort - it's the most comfortable backpack I've ever worn. The straps fit perfectly, and the padding on the back is outstanding. I also love the sternum clip in the front. It's great for keeping your posture in check. My only two complaints - It's a little top heavy, and looks a little funny at the top when packed or unpacked, to the point where it never completely sits up straight which is a bit of an odd design flaw. Other than that, it looks sleek from the outside. Not really a huge fan of the water bottle holders on either side, I feel like they could improve those to be better, and the bungee system I could ultimately do without. Overall, I'd easily give it a 9/10, 4/5. This backpack is an amazing quality backpack for the price. I recommend.

I use this bag for travel, and sometimes as a gym bag. I even use it for groceries from time to time. It's deceivingly spacious, and has a trust inspiring, raised and padded laptop sleeve in the back. It's also incredibly comfortable, even when carrying a lot of weight. However, the bag has an awkward, top heavy shape when it's not packed out. The fleece lined front pocket is really soft, safe for glasses and electronic devices, but the zipper is located in a strange spot, leaving a lot of room up top that can't be used unless you pile items on top of each other. - All in all a great bag, with minor design flaws

It's a great backpack. A lot more space than my prior borealis bag but with the same compact feel. Zipper does feel a little flimsier than my prior bag which is the reason for four stars.

This is a great book bag and I love grayish/off white color! The only downside is it dips in while you wear it, even after trying to evenly space items in the bookbag it just doesn't seem to lay right. However, it fits everything I need it to, good quality, and will last many years!

I love this backpack! As a college student, this backpack makes it so much easier whenever I go home since it fits all of my necessities and more. The bungee system is an added bonus if I ever want to bring an extra pair of shoes with me. However, the backpack does not stand on its own if that's something you need in a backpack.

Awesome for traveling. Fits a laptop easy. Pull strings make it so you can roll up a blanket or sweatshirt and not have to worry about it! Super comfortable to wear and light weight. Highly recommend!

School backpack. It started ripping after about a month of use at the zipper area. Customer service was super easy to work with. We do have to send it in and then we will be without a backpack for 4 weeks.

I'm currently using this backpack for school and it gets the job done. My only critiques would be the awkward shape it makes due to the 3rd pocket only being half as deep as the other two giving the over shape a top-heavy look other than that it's a very good backpack and I really like it. It's definitely more catered to hiking so I don't blame them.

My son is in high school and this has been a great purchase. Its sturdiness limits the weight pulling on his back. Even with numerous items in it, I find comfort in it. Would definitely buy again!

I like the backpack but it doesn't fit everything I would wish to have in it for school. The water bottle holders are a plus.

My daughter wanted for middle school and was highly recommended even on goodmorning america but has no room for anything just a lot of sections that are very well insulted. She can't even but her lunch in but tries everyday smuching it it in. My daughter really wanted because it is the cool thing but completely impractical made for any child or teenager that has to bring anything but a computer to and from school. Forget about packing a nice lunch.

I use the backpack as my everyday bag. I use it to carry my computer, lunch and items I use every day. It is fairly roomy and all the pockets are very convenient. It even has an opening for a hidration bag. What I don't like very much is that it feels right in the bottom due to the elastics on the outside of the bag. Even though it has plenty of space, it's a bit difficult to fill the bag completely due to this.

The lining at the top is fraying and the company needs it back to see if they can fix or replace. I don't have another backpack so my grandmother tried to order me another one but they were out of stock. I want the same backpack and same color. I wish they could get this resolved before October 4th so I can send this back and get a new bag.

The outer strap broke within a month. It was not often used, just broke. I have always been a North Face advocate. This is the worst North Face product I have ever purchased.

I use the backpack to carry my laptop and lunch to work every day, and I also use it to go on short trips. The build of the bag is high quality, with nice materials, and it feels confortable, even when heavy. It multiple pockets to keep things organized. The backpack has lots of space, but it feels kind of tight due to the elastic bands on the outside. To fit many things in the bottom of the bag, you need to stretch it a bit to make room for everything.
