I love everything about this backpack. It's comfortable and extremely easy to get what's needed. I had some concerns about the laptop compartment but that was surprisingly better then expected.

The Northface Borealis backpack is simply fantastic! It's just the right size for me and accommodates all of my necessities for a day hike or at school. I particularly value the various compartments and pockets that allow me to stay organized. Furthermore, the back panel and shoulder straps are remarkably comfortable, even when carrying a heavy load. Not only do I use it for hiking, but I also use it for traveling and daily activities. It's worth investing in a top-of-the-line backpack like this one!

I bought this for my son for high school. Very sturdy and well made. Enough pockets and sections for everything he brings to school everyday.

I use my borealis backpack for school. I love that it's so spacious and that it has a lot of tiny compartments inside the bag, I have a knack for over packing and I would love if there were even more tiny zips for my trinkets. I love that the bag is quite heavy-duty but sometimes it gets a bit heavy on its own so I would like for it to be a little more lightweight.

What a beautiful piece of equipment. And I'm so happy I chose it over the Jester. But this, only because I tested the Borealis immediately, with an overload, and its zippers, compression system and layout, work flawlessly for me. I would like to outlive this backpack, but I'm sure I won't. So I'll gift it to some lucky person in my life who I hope can outlive it. You see, I'm 75 years old, but still out there. Thank you NorthFace for a brilliant product. SGT

So far it seems great,y daughter has a heavy load to carry for school and it is bug enough and seems durable. Water bottle pocket is appreciated. And it's pretty!
