Used a similar NF bag almost daily for 7-8 years before it finally wore it and I got this one, which is much the same except with greater comfort and organization.

I bought this backpack to my son for school finally everything fits in one backpack including his flute!!! And it's comfortable !!!

I love this bag. It's my first bag that isn't Nike and it's actually my favorite! Is it expensive? Yeah. Not everybody wants to pay over $100. But if you are going to, this bag needs some consideration

Bought this for a gift for my son. He loves it. He needed the compartments in it and was the perfect size. It is also a classy looking backpack.

My son uses the product to carry his laptop to and from school. Since it is a school-issued device, I am confident it is protected.

This is a really sturdy and high quality backpack. We bought it for my son's first year of college. He says it keeps his laptop well protected as he moves from class to class. It's holding up great!

Northface backpacks could never go wrong

Functionable, Durable and not bulky Slightly smaller than you may realize, ability to open wide restricted by side stitching feature not obvious online - all in - great backpack for school. Would love to have the option to monogram.

This is the perfect backpack for walking the Camino de Santiago in the spring. The pack fits perfect, has numerous compartments for easy access. I love the way the top closure is, which will help protect the pack from rain (and a rain cover is included).

Great backpack for school! My son loves it and its big enough to carry everything he needs for school, but light enough not to add to the burden of weight to his books.

I got this for my 7th grader son as a school backpack. It's not too big on him (5"4), but big enough to fit all his school stuff, which is A LOT! And it looks simple and good. No complains. Happy with the purchase!

My son attends college and I surprised him with the Surgae backpack and he loves it! Well built and many storage options with padding.

I use this everyday as my work backpack. I keep a laptop, computer accessories, planner, binders, books, pens, pencils, etc. in this backpack daily; not to mention my travel coffee container on one side and my water thermos on the other side (the side pockets are clutch!). Though I've only owned it for approximately a month, the materials seems quite durable; I plan to use this for years to come. It's extremely comfortable on my back. My only knock is that it did not meet my expectations regarding capacity; in other words, I expected it to hold more than what it actually holds in reality - this is probably my problem/fault though, not North Face's. Regardless, I would absolutely purchase this backpack again!

Use on bike commute to work. Very comfortable and holds everything safely.

Now I can carry my drawing tablet and laptop in the same backpack and not be afraid for safety. There is also a thermos and a bottle for water. And in the main compartment there is a sports uniform. I would like more for a couple of liters, but it's still pretty.

It's being used as a middle school backpack.
