I like the blue color a lot. Bag has a good variety of packets. This is my second surge back pack, I had the first one for 7 years and took it all over the world and look forward to doing the same with this one.

This is the sturdiest and roomiest backpack I've ever owned. I used a Recon Northface Backpack from middle school through high school and am now a Sophomore in college and needed a newer and sturdier bag. This bag is amazing. I love that there are two compartments for laptops, ipads, etc. and that the pocket on the front is fleece lined so you can put your phone or glasses in it. I also really appreciate the fact that the main compartment of the bag, the one with no inner pockets, can hold a lot of books and that they're separated from the other things so that they're easier to grab. The water bottle pockets are really large and can fit big water bottles, like the Nalgene ones. I usually put one of those gum containers made for cars in it and keep a pencil case or something next to it. They're also really stretchy and I've never felt that anything was not secure. The front middle compartment, the one that borders the fleece-lined pocket and the book compartment, is your typical North Face organization compartment. There are lots of pockets for pens, room for a wallet, a phone, keys, feminine products, etc. The two zipper pockets in the front have to steal the show though. Before buying the bag I had never seen it in person and didn't know what to expect as far as how much they could hold. The pocket on the right has some mesh pockets on the inside which I find really nice. I usually fit hand sanitizer, deodorant, a snack, and some first aid things in it. On the left pocket, there are no inner pockets but it is larger, I store my hairbrush, a decent-sized makeup bag, sunscreen, and glasses in it, and it still has room for more! Lastly, this may not be a big selling point for others, I really love how many loops there are on the bag! I have a place to keep keychains, pepper spray, a carabiner clip with a mask on it, etc. The bag is very versatile which is so important when you're a college student going to multiple places, both on and off-campus.

I use this backpack everyday. I do wish it wasn't so tight in the center. I sometimes need to empty out the small pockets if I am going to stuff clothing into the main pocket.

I use this backpack everyday. The two large pockets in the front are very useful. The amount of storage and space in this pack is awesome. I use it for work. I can use it as a baby bag and I can use it for packing all my clothes for trips.

As a college student at UNC-CH and an avid traveler, it was time to upgrade my JanSport backpack. I love the padding on the bag and the multitude of pockets. I don't have the problem of my long water bottle falling out the side pockets like my last bag and I like the pockets for my iPad and computer. Great purchase.

I looked long and hard for a work bag, and I finally found it! Great capacity. Easily organized - even for me. Comfortable to carry and versatile. I like it some much that I bought one for my adult son - and he feels the same way!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son and he loves it! Everything that he was looking for in a backpack was in this one.....superior quality, features and comfort at an affordable price. He had a backpack similar to this one from 5 years ago and never thought he would be able to find another one like it. He uses it for everything from commuting to travel for personal or business as well as biking and hiking,
