Great for organization. Maybe a bit small.

This is the third version of the Surge I've owned, and each version improves on the last. This one looks fantastic and I can't wait to start using it. .

From the 2015 north face surge I've been using his backpack I have four of the 2015. I just acquired in Black the North face search 2022 it has the same durability as a 2015 but the material is a lot lighter. I love how the pockets on the 2022 and the bottom is like the durable material what I do miss the 2015 has compared to the 2022 is I love the yak zippers on the 2015. The 2022 TNF Surge Is different, but the same and most affects the durability comfortability and have a bag is very user friendly. What I like about the 2022 is the backpack straps. North face never disappoints in quality their ability and what I always will love about this company is they stand behind the products. The surge is a little bit more money but if you're looking for a backpack that will serve you for 10 to 12 or even more this backpacks worth it! Stay safe my friend. Safe travels! This backpack is really nice for travel! I can stuff a lot of items in it and my laptop is protected too! Bought one for my son for school as well.

Daily commuter. Enough pockets for everything. Could use some different colors for zipper pull strings - too many - but I don't know if that's bad?

My husband LOVES his bag. It was a replacement for his work bag (Northface Surge) as he loved how room & sturdy it was. Especially as a nurse it was convenient as he travelled between jobs.

This is an exchanged backpack for my son. He reports he is impressed with the pocket improvement. He uses it for high school/diabetic supplies and has had no issues thus far. Good product and better customer service.

Good backpack. Lots of pockets and seems well organized. Only downside is that the top admin panel is very top heavy so the bag can lean over if you have a lot of stuff in there.

This backpack is rugged ready to protect my laptop and other necessities on a daily commute with useful organizational features. The ergonomic and comfort design help lighten the load with strong webbing on the straps and carry handle.

Using as a work/commuter bag. Love the design and thought out pockets and bottle holders. The string zippers are much more useful than the tab zippers. I've had northface bags for over twenty years and in those two decades purchased four or five and often give them away to family or friends who seem to like them rather than having to purchase replacements for failure. Never had a northface bag fail on me.

I like it very much, very practical

This bag has all the features I was looking for while still being very stylish. The materials are excellent quality and it holds everything I need it to and more.

I have two kids, a Junior in HS that has been using this backpack since his freshman year and loves it, super sturdy, fits everything he needs for school and the quality is amazing. Just purchased a second one for his sister in MS and she loves it too! Best backpack ever!!
