I bought this for my granddaughter's birthday. She is a junior in high school. She absolutely loves it!!

Great quality and storage capacity. Perfect for school for teenager.

Very high quality! Son loves it. It is great for high school where they have less books than lower grades (may be a little tight if you carry a lot of books)

The big middle pocket is big enough for my daily essentials and my lunchbox. It's can fit my laptop and iPad in here no problem. Even my Logitech keys to go as well. All the little organization pockets are helpful too.

Perfect for travel.

Purchased this backpack just prior to a trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Could not be happier with it. It worked great to transport two laptops, clothes etc to the west coast. It also worked great in the parks to pack water and food for hikes etc. Very happy with this purchase.

Great very spacious

This backpack is the perfect size for daily use and travel. The false bottom in the laptop compartment creates a safe place for electronics. I highly recommend.

Fits a ton of stuff

This backpack was a warranty replacement for my surge I bought 8 years prior. My new surge is even better. It's much more comfortable and the water bottle pouches are better designed. I am really impressed. Northface received my old backpack and replaced it with a gift card in under 2 weeks. That's great service.

Great quality and right size

Love love love this backpack! I have back issues and I went from a Hershel to this and the difference in comfort is crazy. So many pockets for all your little and big things!

My son uses this backpack for school and loves the size and the convenience of the different pockets for storage.

Seems to be a quality bag. Time will tell how it holds up.

Sturdy, well designed. Took it to Hawaii a week after I bought it. Beat the heck out of it. Was easy to clean and super comfortable.

I love my Surge. I bought it about 4 years ago for weekend trips. I've dragged it along in the car, boat and airplane for ski trips, fishing trips, hunting trips, and just regular short excursions. I can fit both my laptop and iPad in the laptop section and still have plenty of room in the main compartment. The smaller compartments are great for toiletries, phone chargers, snacks, etc. I highly recommend the Surge. The Surge is very durable and shows no signs of falling apart.

Got this to have a concise travel backpack that can fit under the seat of an airplane. Was worried about fitting my 17" Lenovo Legion 5 pro in the laptop sleeve because it says 15". My laptop fits perfectly. I was able to fit an entire weekend trip into this bag and stuff it under the seat of the airplane This is probably the best backpack I have had in years and I collect backpacks. I love this bag.
