I use it for work. I love the color and size. The padded laptop sleeve is very useful for electronics. Serves the purpose. If you are trying to fit a pair of clothes, books, snacks and electronics - then you might have slight challenge but it's really good for day to day work and outdoor day trips.

Great pack for light travel, school use. Main compartment is a bit small but otherwise the bag is great.

Not as good as the old style backpacks but still good.

I use it for school! I really like the colors and storage space. My only complaints are the pocket doesn't hold my water bottle, and the backpack is a little top heavy.

NorthFace has a fantastic warranty. After my original Borealis took 10 years of my use and abuse traveling, backpacking and commuting, I sent it back for repair. Sadly, the bag was not repairable, so I received a gift card to help cover the cost of a replacement. The replacement is great for a daily use and I prefer the updated laptop compartment as well as the improved water bottle holders, zipper pulls and padded sunglass compartments. However, I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 as it is noticeably smaller than the men's version (my fianc has the same bag and it's definitely larger) and smaller than my original. Still very useful, just a bit small for days when I need to pack extra clothes, and my lunch etc. Also missing are the wider waist straps which more evenly distribute weight.

It fit perfect , I like the size,color and feel comfortable wearing it anywhere i want or need. i might want to get myself another one but different color and size.

I use this backpack to go back and forth to work with my snacks, laptop, etc. I do wish it was a bit bigger in the middle pocket but otherwise it's perfect and holds all my things. Love the contrast with the blue on black also.

Great backpack for school. If you're like me you carry a lot of stuff, this backpack has plenty of storage, but it could almost use more!

I use this product for school and it's great for fitting all of my essential items. I love the front pocket with the many compartments it has. The only thing I dislike is how the waist buckle on the very bottom is not removable. I often find the straps hanging very low and they hit my legs when I walk. However, tucking the ends of the straps into the water bottle pockets have resolved this problem.

Ever since middle school, I wanted to own the Women's Borealis. Though the design has changed through the years, I still feel this was a valuable purchase. I really like the colorway and the pockets available especially the two water bottle holders that I look for in every backpack I consider. I think the back support is a strong product feature as well. The only con I have to say is that sometimes it can get hard to take things out of the pockets, which feel a little stiff as a result of the back padding & general design. But it does what it's supposed to so no major complaints!

I bought this backpack for a Disney trip with my family. I was surprised how comfortable it was to carry all day and we had it weighed down and stuffed full. I have 3 kids so lots of stuff to haul. I ordered the off white and rose gold. It's so pretty. I gave this back pack 4/5 because I do wish it had the capacity to hold more.

Gorgeous bag and well made, Only down side is this year Borealis is smaller than the one we had.

It's a medium sized backpack. Not a fan of the computer compartment, i feel like it limits the amount of items you can place in the main compartment. Both of the front zippers do not go all the way down the length of the backpack, they end half way. Which sucks because you can't put much in them. Love the color of it, and the shoulder straps are super comfortable. I have an older version of this backpack, which I love but it is more than 10 years old. I hope this one lasts that long

The "whiter part" isn't as light as picture shown.

I bought this for my granddaughter as a Christmas gift. She just loves it.

Beautiful backpack. Love the rose gold. Made super well. Was a little smaller than I was expecting. It is for my middle school daughter and I feel like it will hold her items but not with much additional space. It is less roomy than some other typical student backpacks though much nicer!

Its my multipurpose bag, mostly i used it on traveling, hiking and sometimes just in ordinary days. The main and highlight features are the back support(my#1 priority, my comfort), then 2nd are the protective laptop compartment, and lots of safety pockets, since i am using it while traveling. The downside are the price, kind of costly, and when i received it, the shipping and protective cover has damage that cause a scratch on the external pocket bottle.

This backpack is super comfortable and stylish, I just prefer the roominess of the previous model's pockets.

A little top heavy, almost like the pockets dont go deep enough- but it stays high on your back which is better anyways. A little bit small if your use is school/textbooks.

This backpack is super cute, but it's a little bit small to be advertised as a "School Backpack". I only bring my laptop, planner, keys + wallet to class. If that's all I'm packing, it's fine. But anything more than that will not fit in this backpack. Little frustrating and not really reflective of what people actually bring to school

I love this backpack. I think it'll hold up very well but I haven't had it long. I wish the main pouch had more room. Doesn't hold as much as I thought it would but it still holds everything I need it to
