Shoes took a few wears to break in, but they feel great now.

This is my go-to black dress shoe for all formal occasions, or any occasion for that matter where the goal is to impress. Really comfortable once broken in and looks great. Only complain would be that one of the shoes appears to have stitching that is a little crooked, but it is barely noticeable. Overall great shoe that I will definitely be purchasing again.

I have a very hard to find size and needed a dress shoe for formal presentations, where I am on my feet for extended periods of time. This shoe not only conveys a high priced dress shoe, but was also very comfortable, even with prolonged periods of standing. Highly recommend,

I got the Park Avenue in Walnut and it has been my favorite go-to shoe for virtually every occasion. They still remain my most complimented shoe as it catches the eye of everyone. They were my first pair of Allen Edmonds and they have served me very well. I am looking forward to purchasing a pair in Black one day.

I was recommended to try Allen Edmond shoes by my brother-in-law. He said I would be impressed. He was right. These shoes are very well constructed and as I wear dress shoes every day for work, style, construction, and durability are things I always look for. I found all three in the Park Avenue shoes.

After many months of looking at shoe options for my wedding, I decided to spend a bit more and go with a pair of Allen Edmonds Park Aves. After a couple days of pre-wedding break-in these easily became the best fitting dress shoe I own. On my wedding day, I spent the entire evening in these stylish and comfy shoes with no blisters of which to speak. I now rotate them with some of my other dress shoes for work and they are holding up well.

Park Avenue is a well rounded shoe. I can wear them to dress up or dress down. I can wear them with a suit or with jeans. They are most comfortable to walk in (I spent 10 hours a day in them).

The Park Ave. was the first shoe I purchased out of University and the current staple of my wardrobe. The shoes design speaks for itself as it sits comfortably on the roomy 65 last alongside the classic Cap-toe balmoral. The Park Ave. demands attention and respect in a corporate world and has outlasted any other oxford shoe that I have worn. I will forever have a AE Park Ave. capt toe Oxford in my collection.

I have two pair of Park Avenues: one in black and one in dark chili. Both pair are equally comfortable and great looking. After one year (wearing each pair approximately 1-2 times per week) they are holding up great and show no signs of letting up. I like the versatility of the black which work well in formal settings with a charcoal suit but can also be dressed down with slacks and button-down shirt. The dark chili are understated but draw a lot of compliments - great way to diversify the wardrobe without being too flashy.

Great quality and great shopping experience. Have had these shoes recrafted and turned out just as good as when I bought them.

This pair of shoes belongs in every man's closet and should be worn at least once per week. It is the best value in America because of the quality materials and workmanship. I have worn this shoe in various colors for over 30 years and they are still my go-to pair of shoes now that I am retired. I wear them in all colors with various suits and I have worn them with jeans and other casual clothes. Presidents have been buried in them (I hate to see a pair of shoes wasted that way!), but businessmen have worn them for all occasions. They polish well, the look great, they are flattering to all men. Everyone should go get a pair!

I bought a pair of Park Avenues (cap-toe oxford) in Black for formal and business casual use about 6 months ago and I am very pleased so far. The shoes were comfortable even on the first wear, minimal breaking in required, unlike other goodyear-welted shoes I own. The shoes feel very sturdy, perhaps because of its good construction. I scuffed them accidentally a while back, but the leather is very good and takes shoe care products very well, so those scuffs are hardly visible now.

Hands down , best shoe I've ever owned. These things last forever and always look great. Do yourself a favor and up your shoe game. so comfortable, it's like I stepped in a cloud.

The Park Avenue is the perfect busuness shoe. Elegant, stylish, conservative without being stuffy. They felt great from the first time I put them on, perfect. Quality is excellent. Highly recommended for interviews and importantt business meetings especially.

If I had to choose only one black dress shoe to ever get, these would be it. These are simple and elegant cap-toes that will look great at the office, out on the town, or any formal suit and tie event you could go to in your life. It really doesn't get more classic or straightforward than these when it comes to dress shoes.

I bought these in the chili color from the AE store in the Minneapolis skyway. I tried on a different color to find my size but was in love with the chili so they shipped in a pair for me which arrived a few days later. The shoes feel great and look fantastic. I have a pair of black Harrisons which are great for more formal dressier outfits but these are a more stylish look and match anything from very casual business attire to a few of my more lighter suits. I highly recommend them as well for the feel and fit; they seem to get much more comfortable after a few weeks of wear and I love how they feel now. Irreplaceable.

If men are judged by their shoes, these are the ones I want on my feet. My sneaker size is 8.5, but my Park Avenue size is 6.5 EEE. Be sure to check out multiple sizes to find the one that is perfect for you. Once you get the right size, you'll have a pair of shoes that you will look forward to putting on before leaving for work in the morning. They're a bit stiff in the beginning, but they break in wonderfully and will ultimately fit like a glove. I look forward to wearing and resoling them many times throughout my career.

I have been a devoted customer of AE for over 20 years. In return for my loyalty, they continue to produce a quality shoe second to none. The Park Avenue is a fine sample of that. Sturdy, extremely comfortable, long lasting- the shoe is not an expense but rather an investment in essential footwear. They complete my Zegna suits with elegant class. There is no other shoe company to consider.

I am a college student and I needed a good dress shoe for interviews, career fairs, and many of the other occasions a more formal dress is required. I spent time in the Marine Corps so I was only slightly familiar with dress shoes and the different types; after a lot of research both online and checking out these shoes in person, I decided these would be my best option. I normally buy for long term value and reliability and these shoes original build quality along with the recrafting option made that aspect of the purchase and easy one. I have found these shoes to be the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever had and I believe this it the consensus among all like customers. When I get out of student status I will be buying more shoes from Allen Edmonds for my dress collection.

I love this shoe. It looks like a top notch shoe and wears like one too. The only reason I would say it's only 4-stars on overall satisfaction is that it took quite awhile to break them in. They now really are very comfortable, so if you're reading this before you buy please be patient and stick it out. But I am on my feet for several hours per day and I wore these at least three days per week and it still took months to break them in. All in all, I think it's a fabulous shoe and I own two pairs of Allen Edmonds now. I will definitely buy them in the future. Just wish they would break in a little quicker.

The Park Ave in walnut is a great staple for any wardrobe. Aside from looking classy and professional, you will get many compliments when wearing them. Also, the 5 last is very traditional and normal dress shoe size applies, so you can order with confidence. Thank you for making a great product AE!
