I have purchased the Park Avenue shoe as well as some of the other models for many years and will continue to do so. The Park Avenue shoe is a stylish yet conservative shoe that I wear to the office as well as when I go out socially. I am an architect with high end clients that recognize style. I have wide feet and have found that Allen Edmonds shoes are the only shoes that I feel comfortable in. I have literally walked thousands of miles in these shoes. As a result, I am quite familiar with the excellent recrafting service offered by Allen Edmonds.

I purchased a pair of AE Park Avenue shoes in December '10. My previous pair of shoes were hurting my feet and I could hardly walk due to it. After several days of breaking them in, my Park Avenues are the most comfortable shoes I own. They look fantastic and feel even better. Expensive? Yes, but they are worth it every time you wear them!

I have had these shoes for several years. I feel confident relying on these shoes for the most demanding business presentation or meeting. It is reassuring to still find the highest made-in-USA quality for a reasonable price, especially considering how long they last and still look terrific.

The process of breaking in dress shoes used to be painful -- several weeks of blisters. Then, about 25 years ago, I bought my first pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenue shoes, on the advice of a trusted salesperson who said the extra cost was worthwhile. Was he ever right! The shoes fit like the proverbial glove from the moment I put them on. I've walked miles of city streets in them, and forgot I was even wearing dress shoes. And better yet, that one pair of shoes lasted for 12 years, despite near-daily use, with recrafting every 2-3 years. I've since bought no dress shoes other than Allen-Edmonds. Their comfort and overall value is unsurpassed. You will pay more up front for these shoes, but they are worth every penny, and over the long run, you will pay far less for your dress shoes. Plus, these shoes will never go out of style; you will always look like a professional in the Park Avenue.

Excellent shoe. I have worn this shoe or similar model for the last 12year. It looks good, feels great and wears great with the exception of the heal. The rubber on the heal seems to wear too fast. I'll need to send it to recraft after only 18months wear.

The Park Avenue is a great dress shoe that matches shoes costing more. I am completely satisfied.

I now own two pairs. The first one I bought some 15 years ago, and they still look good for their age. The second pair I bought a month ago to wear with a new tux. I only buy Allen Edmonds for my dress shoes.

This was my first pair back in the later 1990's. The comfort and precision of this cut and style was like my foot's shadow. EXACT! All of my dress shoes are Park Avenues of all colors. All get rebuilt once before being replaced. I worn no other brand of dress shoe for the past twenty-five years. Obviously a very satisfied customer. Please bring back the chile color.

I purchased my Park Avenue AE's about two months ago. Simply put - they are the best shoes I've owned in my 25 years on planet Earth.

I own several different pair of Allen-Edmond shoes and the quality and fit on all of them are outstanding. On many work days when the hours extend late in the evening these shoes are as comfortable then as when I put them on in the morning. I never have had a problem with sore feet after wearing the Allen-Edmonds shoes. Another feature that I like is the quality of the leather used in their shoes. They will polish up to a brilliant shine and enhance your professional appearance.

I've worn 'em out and had them resoled once already. They're very nice shoes but need a high level of maintainence to keep 'em looking sharp!

After amassing an Allen Edmonds collection of 15 pairs or so that was 22 years in the making, I finally bought a pair of Park Avenues. Why did I wait so long?! They are among the best fitting, most comfortable Allen Edmunds shoes that I own. I guess I should have paid more attention to all the reviews I have read over the years that made no bones about it when it talked about the Park Avenue's superior fit.

I have been wearing the same shoes (I have 2 pairs that I rotate in and out of recrafting - about once every 12-18 months) for 10 years. They look as good as the day I bought them.....and they are just as comfortable! Sure I paid more up-front for them than I would have a traditional daily-wear dress shoe. BUT, the comfort is second to none and the cost of ownership makes then a no-brainer! I am a customer for life!

This shoe has been a great addition to my Allen Edmonds collection. The shoe is a classic look that goes with all of my suits and with a mirror polish can be worn with a tuxedo. Very comfortable for everyday use.

I have three colors of this shoe. It is my favorite work shoe. It works well with a suit or casual. Other companies have this style, but it doesn't eqal Allen-Edmonds in style or fit.

The AllenEdmonds Park Avenues have look great and are timeless.

Ihave purchased at least a dozen pairs of this style over the last twenty years. Fit is consistent and comfortable for me. The last has not changed for this shoe or the fifth avenue--which I also buy. Recrafting means the shoes last just about forever. I currently have three new, unworn pairs at home to replace my current shoes if, and when, they do wear out. I can wear and wlk in shoes buiolt on this last all day with no discomfort. The finish stays looking great and a get good wear from them. If I take them locally for new heels, the shoemaker always remarks that these are good sheos and few are made this well, today.

I have three pairs of the Park Avenue shoes. I purchased my first pair 8 years ago, wore them almost 5 times a day for 6 of the 8 years, and have had them reconditioned twice; they are still as comfortable as they were when I purchased them. The leather takes a shine well, the heel is balanced and secure. The stiching is precise and durable. The only reason I did not give a 5 for quality is that my 2nd pair of shoes had a heel that was slightly off. The minor defect did not impact the shoe but I had gotten used to perfection from Allen Edmonds. Compared to any other brand out there, these are so far ahead of the competition.

I am not one to usually write product reviews, but I am making an exception in this case. I purchased my first pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenue shoes four years ago at the advice of a friend. Prior to wearing Allen Edmonds shoes, I had always assumed that new dress shoes were supposed to pinch, feel uncomfortable, and require a "break in" period. When I tried on my first pair of Park Avenue's, I could not believe it. It was as if the shoes were custom made to fit my feet. Perfection. Style and quality is superb. And the service from Allen Edmonds is impeccable. I have since purchase a total of four pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes. My podiatrist has since confirmed that new shoes are supposed to be comfortable. With Allen Edmonds, I am in good stead. I have recommended these shoes to all of my friends and colleagues.
