I have purchased two pair of park avenue shoes, one black (e width by mistake) and the other chili (my normal d width). I am impressed with the level of comfort for such a sturdy, well made dress shoe. At first, I believed the chili was going to be too narrow, but after wearing a few times, it began to feel more like a comfortable leather coat, but even better. I have two other pair of allen edmonds shoes and look forward to a long and comfortable relationship with them too. One truly can tell the difference with a quality made shoe! And that they are made in the USA is icing on the cake!

This shoe has been the only one that fits me. I have a narrow foot, and the Park Avenue is great.

I bought my pair of black Park Avenues about 7 years ago when I was 18. I needed some nice shoes and decided to go all out, so I splurged. Because of the significant investment, i decided to take care of them as best as I could. I like to lightly polish my shoes every other time I wear them, and get them polished well every time I get the soles replaced (about ever 1.5 years). The construction is as close to flawless as is possible. I can honestly say that I haven't seen a single thread come undone. Shockingly enough, I still wear the same pair of shoes, and they look better than 99% of what everyone else is wearing. BOTTOM LINE: Take care of these shoes and I'm confident they will last forever.

I will start my review by saying that the shoes are not flashy, if you want that buy a pair of Salvatore Ferragamos, however, these are more so for the conservative look around the office, great for 1st year analysts or older men. Despite not being pointy and shaped, they add a certain element of flair and style that is rare for their look. The leather adjusts well to the feet, they are insanely comfortable even after 12 hours in the office and have the RECRAFTING option available, which justifies their price tag. If you are looking for a great looking, conservative, comfortable and long lasting shoe that is a constant best seller and sure to give you compliments around the office, go with the Allen Edmonds Park Avenue's, you simply cannot go wrong.

These shoes are dependable and appropriate in every situation. It's amazing how the fit feels better as time goes on. I can see myself owning these for many years.

The understated styling of this captoe makes it perfect for business wear. As far as I'm concerned, these shoes provide a perfect foundation for most suits. A pair in burgundy will be your best friend.

I just purchased my first pair of Allen Edmonds today and I have to say these are definately the best shoes I have ever purchased. I have several pairs of shoes for which I have re-soled and I look forward to many years with these shoes. I have been wearing Park Avenues for 30 years. When I purchased my first pair, it was the first dress shoe I had ever bought that felt comfortable brand new. As a traveling consultant, my wearing habits were hard on any shoe. I was able to recraft these shoes successfully multiple times. While I prefer the classic black, I have had many of the colors with some disapppointly discontinued.

The Park Avenue is a great dress shoe. The fit and finish is exceptional.

I have had a pair of Allen Edmond's Black Park Avenue shoes for over a year and a half. (I am VERY hard on shoes !) I took great care of them and kept them clean and well polished and with cedar shoes trees after every wear. When the heels wore down from walking ALOT, I sent them in for a full re-furbishing and was VERY pleased. For the same price as what a cheap pair of much lower quality shoes, my shoes look great ! I had heel protectors added ( I will do this from now on) I also purchased a pair of Chili Winhall (no longer made - too bad)... Needless to say i am a die hard fan. It took awhile to convince my sweet wife that the shoes were worth the money, but I am glad I did. after you wear a pair of Allen Edmond classic shoes you cannot go back to the very poor quality dress shoes typically purchased. I cannot speak highly enough of the shoes and the service. You will have increased confidence with a pair of Allen Edmond's...I guarantee it !!

I used to live in Milwaukee which made getting AS shoes easier... but web and retail location are still a breeze. I had a final meeting with a customer that my company had been pursuing for over 2 years... the CEO had gone back & forth on why he should leave our competition. While I was recapping all the points and benefits of how we could better serve them and create a long-term partnership.... not just one aspect.... but all their business.... he kept looking at my shoes. I stopped talking, he asked if my shoes were Allen Edmonds. It finished with him saying anyone that understood the sense behind investing in quality shoes is a perfect match for his business. A balmoral cap toe with no broguing is just about as formal and conservative as you can get. It's less versatile as a result, but also pretty much the only style that will do for interviews, funerals, formal weddings, and very conservative business dress. I consider it required for a man's shoe collection, and the Park Avenue in particular is a fantastic value. It isn't flashy, but that's kind of the point. It nevertheless looks sharp and exudes quality. I recommend getting the Park Avenue in black and then choosing other styles for brown and merlot/burgundy (although it looks great in those colors too).

A must-have for business. I have two pairs, one kept shiny for the most important occasions and one for day-to-day use. Fits a bit narrow in the heel for me, but not uncomfortably so. Cannot recommend more highly. Should be the first shoe you purchase.

The Park Avenue is the first (and usually only) shoe I recomend to young men learning how to dress for business. It remains my "go to" shoe for important events. Every well dressed man should own at least one pair of Park Avenues. Perfect with a suit. Will work with a dinner jacket in a pinch.

The show is an excellent piece of work that Allen Edmonds should take pride in. I will continue to purchase Allen Edmonds shoes and refer other to you.

Park Ave black shoes are a permanent part of my business 'uniform'... they look great and feel great.

This is without a doubt the best dress shoes in American. It needs some break-in period, but which good shoe does not. It is my sincere beleieve that every man should own at least a pair of this wonderful shoe if not more.

I have four pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes, which includes two pairs of the park avenue. I always make sure that I am wearing the park avenue when I meet with clients. Their distinctive and classic style makes them a staple in more wardrobe.

The Park Avenue is a very comfortable and understated shoe. Its design is fine for business as well as an evening outing. It is one of my favorite Allen Edmonds shoes. Allen Edmonds is to be praised for still making most of their shoes in America.

I wore these shoes daily in office, and now that I am based out of house, they come out for customer visits. These shoes have been excellent. The all-leather sole wears down pretty fast compared to other materials, but is first class and worth the expense. You get what you pay for... I was surprised how well these work with jeans in evenings.. or maybe I don't care, because I am comfortable wearing them and don't want to pack extra shoes.

Mine are in a gorgeous, deep merlot color, and they are beautiful. I have only worn this pair twice, but I have owned Allen Edmonds shoes since the 1980s and expect to be wearing this pair in a decade.

Have a classic, stylish look. Feel very solid and well constructed, but still broke in fairly quickly. I have several pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes and these are my favorite.
