A versatile shoe that works hard to fill gaps in any collection. Fits in the boardroom as well as evenings out with important clients or galas. You can wear this shoe all day walking through airports, up and down flights of stairs, or across town and still feel comfortable at the end of the day. Quickly molds to the foot bed and foot structure to provide outstanding fit and comfort. It keeps the fit with great support and great looks over time. An understated classic that will never go out of style.

I was looking for a pair of dress shoes that were comfortable. The park avenue is the most comfortable shoe i have ever put on, and i wear them as much as possible

These are very comfortable multi-dimensional shoes-great with a suit and jeans. I have them in Merlot and love the color-too bad the matching belt is so expensive! They come in wider widths, but I would recommend these shoes more for those with narrow feet and average weight or less. The PAs should never go out of style.

After four years of every-other-day wear, they're still going strong. Indestructible. They'll never go out of style, and even if they do, I'll keep wearing them.

I originally started with the Brentwoods several year ago and after wearing them and wearing them they still looked new. When I needed to replace some cheap work shoes I decided to give Allen Edmonds a try. So I tried two new pairs, the Park Avenue and the Memphis and I just love all three pairs. The look of the Park Avenue are the nicest looking shoe I have ever seen in my life and they are so comfortable they are almost like wearing tennis shoes. I would recommend these incredible shoes to anyone who wants something that will look awesome for many years to come. I actually look forward to polishing these shoes because they look about as nice as when I originally purchased them. Believe it or not I'm actually thinking of a fourth pair of these shoes so I can keep rotating them each day as the company recommends. This time I might even visit one of the stores to get a custom fit.

The Park Avenue should be a staple in the wardrobe of every business man. Handsome, distinguished classic style complimented by detailed craftmanship define the mission statement of this footwear. Comfortable, excellent fit for anyone due to numerous size & width choices, supportive, requires very little breaking in as the leather is soft and supple. This shoe will last forever provided uppers are well maintained and protected. AE recrafting of soles/heels will make a 25 year old Park Avenue look new again! This shoe is a great product for the money that delivers all expectations of a classic dress shoe. I am proud to wear the Park Avenue and always receive multiple compliments.

The Park Avenue's classic lines ensures you will never have to worry about keeping up with the fashions of the day; the Park Avenue rises above fashion by spurning fads in favor of an elegant look that is timeless. The thinness of the leather at the cap toe seam ensures a streamlined look to the shoe that draws the eye from the toe to the heel, and up the leg. The fit is slightly narrow in my opinion, but the general fit is superb. The cork bottom settles nicely providing a bespoke fit to the foot, and giving more comfort as the day wears on. I have found the leather to be first rate. It wears well, and acquires a deep patina over time. I've not had a chance to use the recrafting service because Allen Edmonds' shoes wear so well. I can't recommend this shoe enough. It does not disappoint.

The Park Avenue is simply the greatest business shoe a man can buy, period. It costs less than other shoes from different companies of similar quality, yet these are shoes that will never go out of style. The style and elegance of these shoes speak volumes about the wearer, yet they do not stick out as "fashionable" or "trendy". Classic American style at its best, and from a trustworthy American company. The Park Avenue is a shoe that you can wear to work every day until they fall apart, and always look great. Because of this, I cannot recommend them more, and I already have to many of my peers.

This was my first pair of AEs, given to me by my dad for my wedding. They are such good quality and were so comfortable... I was hooked instantly!

The Park Avenue is your standby. When you want to look like you're going first class these are the classy accents to your best suit. Nothing looks better with the traditional black and white plaid three button suit than a pair of black Park Avenues. Look in your closet. You probalbly have a charcoal gray, a navy pinstripe and a black suit and that plaid if you know what's good for you. You'll be hard pressed to find a pair of shoes that look better with any of these suits than the Park Avenue.

I bought my first pair of black Park Avenues two years ago. I liked them so much that I bought a second pair a year later. I have sweaty feet to a rotate the shoes everyday allowing them to sit in shoe trees and properly dry out. After almost daily wear the shoes still look almost brand new holding and are the most comfortable pair of formal shoes I have ever owned. I would recommend this shoe to everyone as the conernstone of thier shoe wordrobe.

God blessed me with a size 14-B foot. The blessing is that I can't go into just any store and buy a pair of shoes, which forced me to buy Allen Edmonds long before I could really afford them! I've had my Park Avenues since 1990 and it is unbelievable how good they still look and feel.

This being my first pair of Allen Edmonds shoes, I was amazed with how comfortable they were. I put a few miles on these shoes the first few times I wore them without any sign of discomfort, and now the cork foot-bed fits my foot like a glove. I also must say that the shoes have held up remarkably in the 1.5 years I've owned them. Aside from some light wearing on the sole, they look just as good as the day I received them, with no sign of scuffs or wrinkling.

When I started my professional career over 10 years ago, my father took me to the shoe store to get my first pair of professional men's shoes. Without applying any pressure, he allowed me to look at all the different makes and models. When I had selected one I liked, he suggested I look at the Allen Edmonds' Park Avenue. The two were almost identical at first glance, but things drastically changed when I laced up the shoes. Instantly I could feel a difference in the quality and craftsmanship of the Park Avenue over the other brand. After looking over the prices, my dad turned to me and said that these shoes, if properly handled and cared for, will last you until you retire. He then pointed out his pair....from 30 years ago! He had his pair recrafted twice in that time span, carefully rotating and using cedar shoe trees. they looked brand new, just like the pair I had in my hands. Quality instantly beat price. Since then my collection of Allen Edmonds has grown, with my "go to" pair being my Park Avenue shoes. They have a timeless style and a comfort that is unbeatable. Keep up the good work and I will keep my collection alive!

I am not light on my shoes. This pair is tremendously durable, classy, and the molding creates a superior feel.

When I first slipped into the Park Avenue... Ahhhh, what comfort. I am hard to fit due to a very narrow heel. The quality is second to none. I have worn these Park Avenue's for several years now, with many new heels and a re-crafting. Still comfortable, fashionable and dependable.

I got these shoes as a gift from my father on my graduation from college. I had grown up with my father and grandfather wearing Allen Edmonds, to work, church and special occasions, and owning a pair came to become a rite of passage. I own in Merlot, and it is my favorite shoe to wear with a charcoal or navy suit. Polishes up nicely and always looks smart. Simple, classic, and elegant.

i've been a discerning buyer of shoes all my life. the first time i put on a pair of AE Park Ave's in the store, it's like i had to re-define everything i thought i knew about comfort. they were a dream to wear from day one. i went to just try on a pair. couldn't walk out without buying. now i have a second pair in a different color. If you're looking at these, you've heard about them. i'm just confirming what you suspected. they're worth it. buy em, you will not regret it.

I receive the Park Avenues as a gift from my grandfather, who has been a long time fan of allen edmonds. after complaining about my cheap dress shoes that i wear to work and every dress event. the styling of the park av. are a leap above most shoes. a clean, classic balmoral with a nice cap toe. Elegant enough for a touch, stylish enough for jeans. I look for versatility in my wardrobe and these nail it perfect. out of the box the were pretty comfortable but stiff and need some breaking in. my only complaint is that they felt a little wide but not enough for me to mind. simple a great shoe, fine craftsmanship and affordable.

This is a must have for any man that wears a suit. If you were only going to buy one pair, this is the one to buy ... in black of course.
