This is my first Allen Edmond purchase and the reputation for excellence is well deserved. Hope to add more to my collection.

This is my second pair of the Park Ave's. I noticed that they changed the lip on the sole which is more pronounced. It's a nice touch. Again, very satisfied. Classy and comfortable.

I already owned a pair in black, and had long wanted a pair in merlot. I thought I would save some money, and bought a pair from a lesser manufacturer years ago, and then told myself that I would have to make do with it. I frankly couldn't stand wearing them. I should have bought the Park Avenue in merlot long ago!

I bought three (3) pairs: Park Avenue, Westchester and Walden to start off my new job. I have never owned a pair of Allen Edmonds before and went by the recommendation of a friend who has several pairs. I hesitated to wear them today because I knew I would be on my feet for a long time. My job requires me to be on my feet for extended periods of time and today was no exception. I spent 12 hours in them, and I have to say they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The quality of the Park Avenue is high grade and the comfort was outstanding. If the other ones that I bought are as comfortable as the Park Avenue, they will have me for life.

I am impress with the quality of the leather and workmanship in manufacturing. They are stylish, and with "C" width available, I am able to enjoy a good fit.
Thank you!

I started buying this shoe several years ago. Airlines lost my luggage and my shoes. I was to host a trade show for 5 days and needed dress shoes. Didn't know what to do. Didn't like the idea of a new pair of shoes on a concrete floor for the next 5 days but what choice did I have. Your store wasn't open yet but the manager was in doing inventory. He was great and opened early. I purchased this at about 7:30 am and was on the trade floor by 8:30 am. For the next 12 hours while I was supposed to be selling our factory automation, I found myself selling your shoes. Stood on hard concrete, no carpet and didn't have a problem. I talked so highly of this type of shoe and the service this store offered, that by the end of the week, seven more pairs were sold to my team by your people. I currently own about 8 pairs of this shoe and wear them daily. Great looking shoe, easy to maintain, always looks professional and best of all, the support is great. I haven't had the foot pain or back pain I had with other shoes. If you're going to only buy one pair of AE shoes, go with the best, the Park Avenue.

This slim fitting dress shoe is perfect if, like me, you have feet that seem too big for your height. The shoe has a slim look from above since the sole does not extend too far out from the upper. Trousers fall neatly over the balmoral style eyelets for a tidy look. It is no wonder that this shoe has been a classic for 30 years! I bought the shoes in dark brown but found it difficult to find a matching belt in stores so I recommend that you buy an Allen Edmonds belt which matches the color perfectly.

Having a long narrow foot (size 12-A). The Park Avenue can be worn all day without fatigue. I can honestly say that I prefer the comfort of this shoe over a good pair of gym shoes. I alternate between a black pair and merlot pair almost daily with matching AE belts. I do have a pair of black Fifth Avenue shoes that are in the mix (similar great fit). I never wear the same pair on consecutive days. They are either on my feet or on shoe trees. I do use AE shoe cream when a light buffing fails to bring the shine back. The only drawback is the obligatory 3 to 5 day break-in period. The recrafting service will yield an almost new pair of shoes at a fraction of the cost but they too require breaking in.

The Park Avenue is my favorite Allen-Edmonds shoe. I have been wearing them for more than twenty years. I started with Black Calf, and now have other pairs in Burgundy Calf and Dark Brown Calf. It's the ultimate dress shoe understated and incredibly classy. They never fail to impress. In fact, I wore my black pair to a business meeting recently, and my client was so impressed with them that he ordered a pair online at the end of our meeting.

If you own one pair of shoes to pair with a suit, these should be the ones. Classic styling on a slender last. Comfortable for all day standing up and walking. They polish up exceptionally well. Far shinier than any other shoes I own.

I first bought this shoe in burgundy in 1987. I owned it for 20 years getting it repaired when needed. The point? The quality is simply superior to any other shoe I own. I liked it so much, I bought two more pairs, one black and the other burgundy. I expect to own them another 20 years. As far as comfort is concerned, you can put these shoes on the first time and feel like you have owned them for awhile. You do not have to break them in. Allen Edmonds is SIMPLY THE BEST SHOE OUT THERE. I own 8 pair of them. They will definitely make a statement of who you are. People are always complimenting me about how much they like my shoes.

A refined realization of the cap-toed oxford--perfect for any business environment. Neither too flabby nor too dainty, this shoe is appropriate for almost any gentleman. The black is classic. The dark brown adds a touch of warmth to a navy suit while retaining the necessary formality. Quality leather throughout. Color-matched shoe creams ease the task of long-term maintenance. Absolutely wonderful, and the value for the dollar is substantial. Only quibble is that I am not as fond of the AE shoe trees I bought with these--a bit laborious to extract from the shoes, IMHO, but a slight redesign would address this.

These were my first pair of Allen Edmonds. To me they marked a point in my career where I could no longer get away with department store shoes. But they are not a status symbol really. They are simply the most comfortable, tradionally styled shoe that I've worn. I receive compliments on them from my co workers and clients. I plan to wear them the rest of my life thanks to Allen Edmonds refurbishing program.

With classic styling and high quality, this is a fantastic shoe and a equally fantastic value. Once you own your first pair of Allen Edmonds you'll wonder why you'd ever buy another brand.

Great shoe with sturdy leather. Takes a bit to break in, but its worth it. The cap on the left toe seems a bit askew compared to the right but minimal.

You don't wear cheap shoes, they wear you! I've heard this statement before, but never realized how true this statement was until I tried on the Park Avenue by Allen Edmonds. Comfortable does not do this shoe justice, right out of the box they felt perfect. All my life, I have tried to find the cheapest shoe possible and didn't know how great a premium quality shoe felt. Well, they felt great! I would like to praise the sales associate that helped me in The Woodlands, TX location. She was so helpful and answered all my questions about the shoes and the redrafting service. I will never go back to cheap shoes, thanks Allen Edmonds!

I feel this is one of the most timeless shoe styles out there. If you need a "go to" dress shoe for your nicer suits, this is the shoe. I think it will still be in style 50 years from now. Clean lines and a sleek look make it a hit.

I once asked the CEO of a major leather tanning operation which company made the best shoes in the U.S. His unequivocal answer was Allen Edmonds. After purchasing several pair, I certainly agree. They are very comfortable and wear extremely well, even after use of the recrafting service. Although I am now retired, I expect to buy more Allen Edmonds shoes.

I have three pair of these shoes. When I need to be well dressed, they are the ones I wear. They are beatiful shoes both when they are new and after being recrafted by AE. The last used for the Park Avenue is very narrow. Even after much stretching, they are very tight on my toes. They get to be very uncomfortable on my wide feet by the end of the day. I really wish AE had a similar shoe made on a wider last. If your foot is narrow, the Park Avenue has my highest recommendation. I have one 10-year-old pair that has been recrafted twice by AE and still looks great.
