I am on my feet for 12 hours a day and this shoe is extremely comfortable and continues to exceed my expectations. In addition
it is made in the USA. Keep up the great work!

I own the Park Avenue along with seven other pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes. Any man who buys any other brand is a fool!

With a 3E foot and prescription orthotics, I have difficulty finding shoes with consistent fit. With the exception of a handsewn model (Leeds) I can always rely on AE for consistent fit. Park Avenue is no exception. My two pair have lasted for years and still look new. I use them frequently for business travel as they can easily transition from a formal suit to business casual.

The Park Avenue is a great shoe for a narrow foot.

I have worn this model shoe for more than 15 years. I have worn them all around the world for serious business or play. They are always approriate and even go with jeans. There is no better pair of shoes to own. They are especially good for folks with long narrow feet. And Allen-Emonnds is one of the few shoemakers that still carry a variety of widths. Try getting a B width Gucci! If you buy these shoes your only problem will be choosing the color. I have four pairs, black, brown, chili and suede (my wife loves the suede!)

I have worn my Park Avenue shoes for 18 years. With proper care they still look, feel, and wear like they are new. Their elegant simplicity of style is timeless. When you wear these shoes with your favorite suit, you feel like a CEO. I have since purchased another pair and consider the price affordable when one considers the longevity of these shoes.

I am a tough fit, I wear a 12EEE and have a bunion too, so comfortable shoes that are actually attractive are almost impossible to find. I always get a knowledgeable, patient sales person and always come away with the right shoe when I shop at Allen Edmonds.
I purchased my Park Avenue shoes one day before I left town for a wedding. I knew I'd be on my feet for several hours during the day and then dinner and dancing that evening. I was a little apprehensive about being in new shoes for such a long time but it turned out to be a non issue. The shoes are beautifully crafted and the style is timeless. The Park Avenue shoes were comfortable enough to wear home from the store and the entire next day and evening. I was so impressed, within hours they felt as if I had already worn them a dozen times!
These are my first choice for any important business or social occasion, short of "black tie". For that, I'm getting a pair of Kendal shoes to go with my tux later this year!

"They're like limousines for your feet" is what a friend told me. No kidding. I wear these multiple times a week - in and out of airports, through crummy weather, and out on the town. A shine, some TLC, and they're good as new. I always get big compliments. They're timeless, they are always appropriate, and they make a (under)statement. These are built to last and are well worth the investment. Recrafting is like reincarnation for your shoes. My wife is jealous because women's shoes don't last a fraction as long.

I love these, as you may tell by the fact that I have eight pairs I rotate through. They take a few wears to break in because the leather is stout. Once broken in, they are my most comfortable shoe.
At a year old they still look brand new and are reputed to last for decades with an occasional recrafting. The look is timeless.

The Park Avenue was my first exploration outside $60 department store shoes. It was a huge leap in faith to spend 5x as much for a pair a shoes but the reviews online had me interested. I went to my local store to get fitted and I was blown away by the quality. They are a bit stiff during initial wears but smooth as butter after being "broken-in".
The jump in quality and comfort is substantial compared to the typical glued synthetic shoes I previously had. I can see why people can wear the same shoe (with recrafting) for decades. At age 23, I am glad I didn't waste any time experimenting and went with the best. If you price out the cost of the shoes over 10 years the annual cost is about 20-30 dollars a year, absolutely worth it. You have made me a convert for life.

Bought these for my dad. He loves how it wears and also how it looks. Will most definitely buy another pair in a different style.

I wasn't able to get sized at a store (there wasn't one local to me), so I tried to use info and materials on the website to order the appropriate size. I know the length, but I have wide feet, so It's always a guess on what size of width to buy. I ended up ordering an 11 EEE. Based on the information from the website, it said I should be almost exactly between an EE and EEE, so I ordered the EEE just to be safe.
They arrived and were really tight across my foot. I assumed I'd need to wear them for a week to break them in and stretch them out to get them comfortable enough to wear. It's been nearly a month, and I include the shoes in my regular rotation, which means I wear them a couple of times a week. They're still uncomfortable to wear due to their width. I've probably worn them for a full day 8-10 times now, and my feet are in pain at the end of the day. I found that if I untie them and loosen the laces when I'm sitting at my desk, it gives me a little more room in them and makes them more bearable to wear.
Bottom line, order wider than you think you need if you have wider feet because they seem to run narrow on the width.

I have been purchasing your shoes for over 20 years and the quality of the product has declined slightly in my opinion.
I am sure that this is due to world competition and the price range of the product .

Nice walnut shoe! True in length and width with a rich walnut color which is great. I can wear them with jeans or a suit. Well made and made in the USA. Just keep adding more Allen Edmonds shoes to diversify my collection. Buying more. The only reason these did not get five stars, is the fact I rate the top of the line Independence collection five stars.

I've had these about 3 years now, I absolutely love them. They were a bit tight at first, but a bit of stretching and wear made them perfect.
Be weary of the leather sole, as it's fairly easy to wear through it quickly, particularly if you wear them in the rain.
I managed to wear through the sole of mine after about 2 years, but had them recrafted with the v-tread rubber outsole, now they're a great every day pair.

These shoes in Oxblood look and feel great, but I was disappointed with sizing. They are built on the 65 last just like my McCallisters, but the fit was much more loose than the McCallisters. The right shoe was also noticeably wider than the left. I wound up installing tongue pads to help mitigate the issue.

I have bought four other Allen Edmonds shoes an everyone of them has had a defect but I kept them and accepted them as minor. I received a pair of Park Avenues for Christmas and expected them to be perfect. They had a bubble in the cap toe. I decided to keep these also and I have to admit that the bubble has gotten smaller after vigorous polishing. One shoe is noticeably darker in the finishing than the other. I wish you guys would have a better quality inspection process.

I am a recent convert to Allen Edmonds shoes and love the brown Strandmok and brown and black Park Avenues I have purchased. They fit great, and the quality of the leather is levels above the other brands I have worn. The only area of concern is how the toe caps on my black Park Avenues look. Is it common for the mold used for the cap to visibly end before the stitching of the toe cap? Since the mold doesn't extend all the way, it is creating a noticeable ridge approximately 1/4 inch from the stitching of the toe cap. My brown pair doesn't have this issue and I'm curious if anyone else has shoes with this type of defect.

I have these in walnut burnished calf and dark brown burnished calf. They have both been excellent shoes for work, weddings, etc. My foot borders D/E width. I went with the D's and they have been just fine!

This was the first AE shoe I bought. You can't go wrong with a black oxford. Dressy enough to be worn formally, but also versatile enough to be worn dressed down. Outstanding quality.
