I received this boot for Christmas 2024 from my husband and when I tried them on the ran1-1. 5 sizes too large from my usual size 9. Unfortunately he did not realize they were a final sale and cannot be returned. I would have hoped Christmas presents would be available for return regardless of reason! Buyer beware!

Terrible fit and misleading size description. Shoes run way too big and they arent eligible for exchange. Very disappointing.

Love the way they look but they run big.

It didn't fit, I always wear a size 7. 5 and it was too big and now I can't exchange if for a smaller size so pretty disappointed

These did not fit and I'm now told that they are not eligible for return.

Comfy and fit great

Very disappointed with Melissa Shootie not anything like my other Shootie Purchased couple years before . Very stiff, hard to put on, even with zipper, that I didnt realize it had, big but cant use thicker sock bc I couldnt get them on and extremely slippery. My older ones dont have zipper. Brown is almost black, not nice brown. Wanted to return it was told sale is final, not aware when I purchase two pair. Suggested I use site where I can sell them. This is so unacceptable. These were made in Mexico, wondering if this is the issue. No problem with foreign made if they fit. Wondering now why the price was so low. Ill reach out to them again.

Did not fit well

Very disappointed. Frye wont allow a size exchange so that I can wear them.

Worst purchase ever. The boots are uncomfortable and the soles have absolutely no grip whatsoever. I cant even walk across the room without slipping and sliding. I deeply regret not realizing this was a nonrefundable purchase. Since I cant even exchange them for something suitable, Frye has lost a customer.

I have this shoe in both brown and black. Its my go to! Dress it up dress it down. Its perfect!

I read reviews so ordered one size down. I normally wear 7. 5 but 7 fits better for this Melissa Shootie. The leather soles of the Melissa Shootie are unbelievable slippery. I unbalanced several times at home so I paid close attention when I wore them to work today (first day of wearing them). I knew I had to be careful when driving. As expected, it slipped several times when the soles touched the brake pedal. Luckily I had a pair of sneakers in my car so I switched to them when driving back from office to home. I am not going to wear the boots when driving until the slippery situation improved. It's slippery on carpet as well. I purchased many pairs of Frye boots in the past and never had the slippery problem like this pair.

These boots were at least a size larger than my normal shoe size. While I purchased under a final sale I thought they would at least let me exchange them. No, was the answer . Will not buy Frye again.

Good-looking, well-made ankle boot. But the leather soles are so slick and slippery that it felt unsafe even walking around inside my house. I could never imagine wearing these indoors or out. I sent them back.

I like the look but they are mostly a half size to big and I'll return for a smaller size. The invade heel is big.

The leather is very stiff which means theyre hard to put on. I really havent walked in them yet until I can get the slippery out of the sole .

Frye always has been a fav. I love these too. Run slightly big. Beautifully made.

Love the Frye boots. Ordered the same Size as my other Frye bootsthese ran big. Had to reporter a half size down. Only concern is the sole of the boot is very slick! Am wearing them to a wedding and am little concerned about how slick the sole is. But overall am very pleased with the boot

A very comfortable, very good looking Boot.

2 complaints: The boot fit is very narrow therefore will have to wear thin sock or pantyhose. Also I wanted a lighter shade color boot so I order the caramel. Buyer beware caramel color is way darker its more of a walnut dark brown instead of caramel light brown shown in picture. Contacted customer service and was told could not return. Therefore, I am stuck with this dark brown boot similar to all the other dark brown boots I already own. Very disappointed to say the least. Will not be ordering Frye boots any longer.
