Bought this tote and added a monogram to the front. Great quality, zippered top, extremely happy. Took this to Disney World and it was perfect. I chose a black monogram which really isn't visible. If I was going to do over, I would choose a lighter color. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this bag! I have five of them in different colors and have gifted several as well. The zipper top is just one of the great things about this bag. I personally love the plaids.

Bought both the Medium and Large Everyday Lightweight Totes in the pleasantly unisex Bean of Freeport Hunting Plaid. In the fall LL Bean seems to introduce the more unisex or masculine plaids. Bought two sets of these last year (Grey Stewart and Buffalo Check) and they're still like new, holding up very well. I've even taken to storing off season items in them. Great for short trips, long trips, shopping or just carting stuff back and forth to work or the laundromat. Get lots of compliments on them, even from other guys which is rare. I had the canvas bags but these wipe clean so easily that I am spoiled. I like utilitarian but aesthetically pleasing just completes it!

The tote is very well made and I like the zipper closure. The port/deep port fabric looks great and will hold up well. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this tote.

I got this to use as a Fall/Winter purse. It is lightweight, sturdy and has lots of room. I've used another tote just like this with different colors for Spring and Summer.

Great tote. Well made, and multifunctional. I used it for travel as a laundry bag, grocery bag, and general tote. I really liked that it had a liner in it. And the inner zip pocket and outer pocket helped sort small items!

This tote is perfect for daily use. Lightweight, foldable, roomy and can be wiped off with a damp cloth. The buffalo check pattern looks great. I have received many compliments on the tote.

I bought this bag primarily for a twice-weekly commitment I have it's perfect! It holds pens/pencils in the inside pocket, my name tags in the outside pocket, my papers & electronics, and has the width to hold a little wireless speaker. On top of all that, it zips to keep my stuff dry and is a red buffalo plaid (a favorite of mine for more than 50 years)! It also worked well as my airline carry-on bag.

These are great bags, and I've bought several of the solid color bags for gifts (monogrammed) and myself. The material is lightweight but very sturdy, and the two pockets and zip-close top really make these much more useful than a plain open top bag. The fabric wipes clean and would probably go through a delicate cold wash and air dry just fine. A few things would make these just about perfect: A couple of added slip pockets inside, slightly longer handles for easier shoulder carry, wider top panels where the zipper is attached to increase capacity front-to-back, and-- please match the plaids when attaching the front slip pocket (as your competitor does with their plaids). Two of the patterns shown on the product page, including the one I ordered, show perfectly matched plaids, but my bag's pocket plaid is slightly mismatched in the horizontal pattern. At least the pattern is vertically matched, so it doesn't look too bad, but this would be so easy to accomplish and would give the appearance of the high quality the bags truly have. Despite these suggestions, I wouldn't deduct a star because this is such a practical, sturdy, cute bag for most purposes. I ordered the moss/mariner blue plaid, which has some medium pink and teal in it and is beautiful for any season. It folds compactly for packing in luggage, is pretty good at shedding rain, and weighs almost nothing, so I plan to use it as my day bag on an overseas tour. For a general purpose, easy to maintain bag, you really can't go wrong with these in any of the several styles offered.

I have 5 of these bags and I use them for everything! I recently started using them as my shopping bags in order to stop using plastic. The medium is great for self check-outs. I find them to be sturdy and I like the zipper at the top. I have the black and red check and after I bought my first one, ended up buying more for myself and my daughter.

I have several of these lightweight totes. They are great for carrying all my "stuff" to the beach. Easily holds a couple of huge towels, reading materials, reading glasses and water bottles. I love the fact that the sand doesn't "stick" to the fabric, and when they get a bit grimy, they come through the washing machine in great shape. New Jersey is looking at getting rid of plastic bags in grocery stores, so I just picked up a few of these when they were on sale, so I could jump on the "renewable" bag phenomenon. I have also given these bags (with monograms) as gifts to folks. They are always greatly appreciated.

I purchased the large tote for work and LOVE it. I am a nurse so I am able to place all of the items I need in one place (including my lunch, small purse, clipboard, and stethoscope) and it is comfortable to carry over my shoulder. The bag itself is stylish and the quality is excellent. I love it so much that I ordered a second tote in less than a month and plan on using that one for an overnight bag. Highly recommended!

So pretty. Got the tote in Reef Teal medium and love the color. Perfect for daily use. Received many compliments. The fact that I got it during one of LL Bean's special sale events made it better!!

I love the color !! I purchased the aqua/white/navy plaid. The color was bright and cheerful for summer. I use it to carry my lunch/work stuff/ purse and water bottle. It has plenty of room for everything. It also has an inner pocket with a zipper and a key chain for keys. The fabric feels thin but don't worry it is very durable and spills clean nicely. The comfortable straps are easy on the shoulder, for me I have to park far from my job so I'm carrying my bag for a few blocks and no discomfort. It's a fantastic bag I recommend it.

I've had my eye on these totes for a while, and during the recent 25% off sale I purchased a medium in one of the plaids. Immediately I began using it to tote my water bottle, lunch, laptop and accessories, pens and pads and all sorts of miscellaneous items that for a change didn't fall out of the bag onto the car floor because it has a zip top. Hooray! The bag proved to be so sturdy, useful and beautiful that I bought several more in both the medium and large sizes. I used two large ones yesterday for groceries (and got compliments from the cashier to boot). Now to get rid of the flimsy supermarket bags I've been using...these will be an excellent replacement for many years to come. We're having a big family reunion at the beach next summer, and I'm thinking about buying a large tote for each adult, monogrammed, for carrying towels, snacks and drinks to the beach. The children will get the medium-sized to carry their stuff. Should go over well! Thank you for another excellent product, LL Bean!

Our granddaughter loses her ski wear so we bought this bag and it's the perfect size for her ski coat, pants, mittens, helmet, and underlayers. Hopefully, we won't be replacing lost items in the future. The colors aren't really appealing to teens but the blue was acceptable. The bag can be wiped with a damp cloth so we don't have to worry about the bag being dropped on the salted parking lot.

I have the large and medium totes in the buffalo check and bought the teal plaid for summer use. These bags are versatile and durable. They even wash well (handwash cycle, air dry). I spilled a bottle of my dog's fish oil supplement in the bottom and it left it stained and stinky. I threw it in the wash and it's back to perfect now. I carry one of these folded up in my luggage when I travel and use it for dirty laundry or souvenirs.

I purchased this tote in Medium to use as my personal item on a trip to Ireland. Love the zip top and it fit perfectly under the seat on the plane. It held a change of shirt/pants, book, jewelry pouch, small crossbody purse, and a water bottle. It was a great bag to bring along each day as we toured the countryside, protecting my stuff from the daily drizzle. Wish the interior zippered pocket was a little bigger. Strap length was OK but would be tight with a winter coat.

I recently purchased the blue indigo plaid tote, first in the medium size, then I loved it so much I ordered the same pattern but in the large size. Love them both! Over the years I have bought the buffalo plaid (medium and large) as well as many of the solids. They are so handy for so many things, I really don't think they will wear out. I must be a tote bag addict LOL...but they're fantastic.

When a new baby is born this is my go to gift. It's a light sturdy tote that holds a lot. This was the first time I bought the plaid and I was worried that the baby's name wouldn't show as well as the solid colors but it did and I loved how it came out. My nephew just had his second son and asked me if I would get his baby a light weight tote like the one I gave his oldest son. They love it!

Absolutely love this tote! I'm fact,this is my second one. Put my Stewart plaid away for the season and am now using the new one for summer. They are durable and SO practical. I have one of those purse inserts that I can pull out in a flash to change purses, but rarely do because I love this tote. Even with my insert there is still room for a water bottle,small purchases, or mail that I pick up from the mailbox as I come home. Wish you would consider a sunflower or yellow daisy pattern for summer. That would be so cool! I would be the first one in line to purchase one.

I love the new colors offered in these totes. I just got the sea rose which is a rusty coral. I ordered the infinity scarf in sea rose so that I can make a "set". I use these totes for shopping.
