This bag has been fantastic. I tuck it into my suitcase and use it as my carryon for souvenirs at the end of a trip. I use it as a weekend bag. I use it for lots of things. I have received many compliments on it, even from strangers. I wanted to buy a few as gifts, and discovered that you're out of my favorite plaid! The Bean of Freeport Hunting plaid is very stylish. Many of the others you carried were a bit too "loud", although I've seen some cute ones in photos from other customers -- but you aren't carrying those anymore either. Please bring them back! The solid-color bags for some reason look cheap and not nearly as nice as some of the classier plaids that you used to carry, and the prints you have right now are just plain awful.

I almost did not order the Everglade Plaid because the green on my monitor looked a little pastel for my taste, but when it arrived it was a slight bit deeper and is suitably masculine enough for me and would be unisex enough for women I would think. I have several of the Everyday Lightweight Plaid Totes in both large and medium, and I buy them if the colors are not too feminine. I don't really need more but I can always use them for something, be it travel, storage, errands, etc. Am liking this print enough to want the matching Adventure Duffle which would be so easy to spot when retrieving luggage at the airport.

just what i needed

I love carrying this fun tote everyday to work. It fits everything I need for the day and then some. The cute plaid is so much more fun than the boring blue backpack I had been carrying. I can fit my purse, lunchbox and whatever craft project I'm working on at the time in this ample sized tote. I plan on purchasing another. I love the lighter weight material compared to the original canvas tote. It is better for e every day use, whereas my original canvas totes are great for packing clothes for travel.

I now have the lightweight totes in 3 different plaids for different seasons. It is so great to have all the things I want in my handbag with hardly any weight in the bag itself. The texture, considering the lightweight, is very sturdy, excellent stitching as well. There is an inner zip pocket, outer open pocket, and key clip. Look forward to even more colors.

I ordered two of these bags in the Buffalo plaid (red/black) with monograming. The monograming adds a nice touch. One is for myself and one for my daughter. It's just the right size, but not too big. The zip top keeps items from falling out. Material is very sturdy and will be easy to keep clean. I highly recommend this bag. I definitely would purchase again.

I bought the medium tote, and I am using it to carry all my extra things to work (lunch bag, water bottles, mail, etc.) It is big enough to fit several things without feeling bulky. I absolutely love it and am so happy I bought it!

super lightweight, easy to pack and carry. It also packs down easily to go into a suitcase or other bag to take with you somewhere that you may be bringing extra stuff home. Slightly longer straps would make it easier to carry on your shoulder, but then it would hang too low when carrying in your hand. Great bag overall!

I have purchased totes from LLBean before. I really like them. One question....do you make a small size? The medium is more than enough for my life style. Still...the quality, design and useability performance is A+.

We ordered these in the red buffalo plaid with monogrammed names for teacher gifts. Wonderful quality and smaller tote size is perfect for every day use. I'm hoping to order another for myself!

Got this for my daughters Scotty,Amelia! So she can keep all her things she travels with her and I got it monogrammed for Christmas my 1st grandgirl pup

I haven't used this one yet ,but I have another one that I have used & I really like ! I use it for an overnight bag,it holds quite a bit which is great! I plane on carrying this one in my car with a change of clothes ,for just in case or to hold a couple blankets in the car! I do like this bag,the color wasn't exactly the same as what was pictured ,but still nice! This was the medium bag!

Love this for running Christmas errands and shopping around town. It really puts me in a festive mood :) I had mine monogrammed (in white) and I get so many compliments on this darling bag.

I bought three of them for my knitting group and had them monogrammed. The letters stood out on the plaid and just made them more special. The knitting buddies loved them. Just the right size to carry all the wool and needles needed for a project.

As soon as I saw the Bean of Freeport Hunting Plaid I ordered both sizes since some of last years designs (such as Gray Stewart which is not available so far this year I see) were sold out online well before and long after Christmas. I was able to track the ones I wanted down through various store locations but I wanted to get ahead of the game this year. And in light of prints that have not re-appeared I thought it best to grab these now. Bean of Freeport Hunting Plaid is one of the more masculine looking prints yet unisex enough for women. The cold weather is hard for me to tolerate so visually these plaids evoke the "snow covered pines, crackling fire, flannel blankets and cozy cabin" feelings that make it easier to take while hitching up the sleigh, harnessing up reindeer; sorting; loading; delivering packages, etc.(next year I may use a delivery service like LLBean does - am just getting too old for this). If you're not sure about a Christmas gift, these are useful to all....and to all a good night. Santa

I bought the large size and wish I'd bought a couple more! -- this bag would make an excellent gift. We took it on a driving trip in which we encountered sleet and snow, and I was SO grateful for the zippered top: I could carry it between the car and the hotel, and nothing got wet. I love the zippered pocket inside, too. I've noticed in reviews that some people complained about the size and the lightweight fabric, which mystifies me: LLB's online descriptions clarify the size and the weight, which for me is a plus. It holds a lot, but I can still fold it easily for storage into one of my carry-on suitcases or simply hang it in the closet, and it takes up very little room, unlike the heavier canvas bags. Yes, the handles could be longer, but that's a minor quibble. It performed exactly as described, and it's a great addition to my travel bags.

Great bag! Well made, and will have lots of uses. I think I may also purchase the larger one!

I can't have enough of these bags. Everytime I stop by my daughter's house with a load of groceries or bringing home the stuff the grandkids left at my house, I lose the bag because she loves them them so much she never returns them! So whenever they go on a big sale like the daily Markdown, I buy a couple more because everybody "forgets" to return them! And what a great gift for anyone on your list.
