I bought these boots because I thought they were Thinsulate lined. They are not lined at all. The quality of the boot itself it outstanding, but the product name is really misleading. I don't even see it in the foot bed. I'm worried about them being warm enough, so they'll be returned. As to sizing, I wear a women's 5.5 & these kids size 3 fit well.

As a small woman with wide feet, I hoped that boys' size boots would fit--but no. Also size equivalences between children's and women's shoes don't seem to be correct.

I wear women's 5.5 and bought size 3. I wear them w camp socks and they are very warm. My biggest annoyance is the quality control part. There's thread ends fraying in multiple locations. I'm hoping it doesn't come off and the shoe falls apart. Not sure if that's normal but shouldn't be for the price.

These boots are obviously very durable, warm, and waterproof. My only complaint is that they leave horrible blisters on the back of my heels. I even bought a pair of thick LL Bean socks in hopes that this would prevent blisters. It did not work. I've had the boot for approx a year now and they still give me pain with use. I just preemptively put on band-aids under my socks.

I don't understand the sizing whatsoever. I'm normally a 6 wide in women's. Many reviews stated the boots were very very big and left room for thick socks, etc. Some people even suggested ordering a size 3, but I went with a size 4. With thin socks, my high arch felt pinched on the tops of my feet. The way the boot is designed, it does not allow for the laces to be opened up to provide space for a high arch. If i had gotten a size 5, I'm not sure this would alleviate the instep issue that I'm having. Overall, not a comfortable boot and not sure what's up with the sizing. I don't even think I can go with women's sizing since they suggest to size down, and their sizing starts at a 6. Otherwise, the boots feel like they're warm and would be great to wear. So unfortunate since I love the way they look!

I love bean boots but I have been trying to order them for three years. They are constantly backordered so you have to wait months before you even get them. I wear a women's size 6 and read several comments before ordering mine. I knew they ran very big based on reading the comments and friends' experiences so I decided to go with the kids' 4. I ordered them in January and did not receive them until May. When I tried them on, to my disappointment, they were still too big. I called customer service that day to ask about exchanging for a kids' 3, they were so helpful however they are still backordered so I won't get these until August. Excited for the boots, but disappointed about the time it's taking to get them.

I purchased these for my 20 year old daughter who wears an adult 6.5. Since they were a "kids" size, I thought they would fit her....when they arrived, they equaled at least an adult women's size 8 or larger as they were huge on me. Certainly not sized appropriately as named kids.

I am a sophomore in college and usually wear a ladies 6 but the woman's sizes were far too big. I ordered a kids 3 and they fit just right! Although, I wore the boots I got huge blisters on the backs of my heel. There seemed to be parts of the material on the inside of the boot that kept rubbing at my feet and irritating them. It made me sad because the boots keep my feet so warm, but they gave me blisters.

The insoles on this boot were a bit odd by the arch so they felt uncomfortable on my daughter's feet.
