I didn't like these shoes. They slipped up & down on my feet when I walked.

Ridiculously impossible to "slip" on. Carrying around a shoehorn is not an option. So disappointing and it makes me question my confidence in LLBean. How does a company who has been making and selling shoes for decades think this is a useable shoe. Such a waste of my time. Sorry I didn't take more heed of the bad reviews. Won't do that again. My feet are not large or fat btw.

loved the look of this shoe but i could not get it on at all .. this happened with another pair of slip ons I ordered .. they fit perfectly once they were on but I had a very difficult time getting them "slipped" on .. they should slip on easily so I will not order any more slip ons ..
Disappointed,

Loved my old, green Vista low hiker shoes with shoelaces and was thrilled when I was given the blue, low Vista hiker shoes as a gift. Although they were a bit of a challenge to get on initially without shoelaces, they fit perfectly, and I was able to hike miles in comfort during my first, four outings with no problems, so I also loved them - both for looks and for comfort. However, when I put the blue Vista hikers on for my fifth trip, immediately something was wrong: I could barely walk due to right, outside heel pain. Fortunately, I had my old, green "Vista hikers" as a back-up in my house, and they worked just fine, with no heel pain, even though my right heel was red and sore from just putting on the blue Vista hikers. The blue Vista hikers didn't even allow me to walk in them, as I had limped a very short distance to and from the car. When I checked the inside of the blue Vista hikers, it appeared as if there was a "rigid-type piece" of something out of place under the fabric of the inside of the right heel that was not inside the heel of the left shoe, where the same are in the left shoe was very smooth. Clearly, there was a problem with the construction, and something had easily moved out of place.
I was relieved I was home and had my old, worn, green Vista hikers as a back-up pair. Although I had planned to take the gifted, blue Vista hikers on a hiking vacation, I am relieved I did not rely on them! As with most shoes, advice is to try them out several times (e.g., more than my four times!) before relying on them. The low, blue Vista hikers are very attractive, as well as versatile, and they probably could be worn with jeans, slacks, shorts, or skirts almost any time of year, providing there is not a problem with the construction. Nice toe box width, too.

These are beautiful shoes but so hard to get on especially the left one for me. Not my idea of slipons.
Also shoes too tight at top of instep. Sadly, I'll be returning these.

The opening to these shoes is so tight and stiff and I have to wrestle with them to get them on. The pull loop is useless, especially because it's attached to the back of the shoe, and does not have a grip on the stiff, very tight inner ankle cuff that crushes down and under when I try to jam my foot in. There is no "slip on," only shove, twist, yank, pull, and wrestle. Once on, that ankle cuff is so snug that it chafes. They are beautiful and well made shoes, and I'd love to love them, but they're just brutal to get on.
