I can't get them on comfortably without it pulling my sock too tightly around my toes

These fit my wide feet, which is a plus. They are stiff and supportive, as I suppose a hiking sneaker should be. I don't hike, but have bad feet (flat, easily sore) and I can wear these for 6 hours or so. After that point I am grateful to kick them off.

These shoes are not narrow. They may be difficult to get on for some people, but once the foot is in, there is plenty of room. In fact, too much room for narrow feet like mine which is why I'm sending them back. I'm sorry to do that because they're very cute.

Way to narrow. I have a normal width foot and thus shoe is too snug. I can only wear sockless and even so a little swelling...you're done. Please make a wide..

Fit fine and comfortable. But because the toe box is very wide, the look resembles clown shoes compared to my regular fit.

I really liked these shoes. But you have to able get them on. I shouldda listen to all the comments. I did get one shoe on, but you wouldn't be able to wear socks .
Once on they are very comfortable. I even took them to a shoe repair to maybe have zippers put in the back heel. It couldn't be done.

I would say these "hikers" run a tad long...I normally wear a size 8 in most shoes/sneakers/boots from LLB...as well as other brands. However...a size 8 in the Vista Slip-On Hikers Low was too big. I returned...and ordered a size 7.5. I think I could have gotten by with a size 7. The toe part seems to be up a little from the floor...as in not a flat feel when walking...takes some getting use to. I have found I need a shoe horn to get into them as the part that goes around the top part of the foot is a little tight. The color combination is what drew me to them when I saw them in the catalog...so going to wear them anyway.

Love the look but the shoe wasn’t comfortable for my foot which requires an arch and a wider toe

High arches don't fit well, because you can't adjust the tightness.

I like the look but I guess I need to order Wide, especially with the slip on

Got a pair of these (one size larger to accommodate narrow opening) for a trip to Egypt. They were great for walking and looked presentable with dress pants. The new pair - same size- looks like I'm wearing the shoe box. I'm trying them out indoors but so far they are not as comfortable as the old ones. I don't know why they were changed.

These are extremely comfortable for walking, but I bought them in November and the soles are already worn through.

The instep is way too tight. I loved the way they look and were made very well. They were plenty long enough, but so tight across the top that it was almost impossible to get on.

Shoes were much tighter than a normal size 9. I liked them if only they fit.

Love the look but they are tight, can only wear thinist of socks, hoping they will stretch as they get worn in

These shoes are well made but felt tight and uncomfortable. My feet are normal medium width so I think the shoes are narrow.

These are nice looking shoes and would probably have been just what I wanted. However, "easy on" is not a term I would use to describe these shoes! I had to go into contortions to get my feet into them - even got a cramp in my foot! A shoe horn would have helped but I didn't have one. Anyway, once they were on, they fit well. I just can't go through that process every time I want to go out - especially since I was looking for a quick, slip on shoe. These are going back.

Love the appearance of this shoe! As advised in other reviews, I used a long shoe horn to try them on and was pleased with the fit over my low, slightly padded socks. However, as soon as I walked around the room, my heels were slipping up and down. These shoes might have worked with padded hiking socks, but then the rest of the shoe would have been too tight for me. I'm returning them.

I wanted a pair of shoes for walking on tile and concrete floors 12 hours a day. These are too tight! I need to wear socks - putting on takes 5 minutes and it's not getting any easier. Very disappointed. Read the previous reviews, however, didn't imagine they would be this bad. Hoping they may break in more over the next couple of weeks.

The foot opening is very tight and makes it awkward to put on. The tongue edge hits the top of my ankle and hurts depending which socks are worn. I wore them driving 300 miles and had to remove after 150 miles because of the pain in my pinky toe.
A medium thickness sock makes it impossible to put on the shoe without struggling. A thinner one gets bunched up and hurts!
For just walking/hiking light trails it's fine.

I really wanted to have this boot because it lacked the awful "tongue" that is in all boots, and because it was water proof. But it was very hard to get on and off and also my heel moved up and down no matter what kind of sock was tried. Sorry to have to give up on it and returned.

I really think it's very cute AND beautiful color as well as well made....but...it stated that it was true to size so I ordered the size all my other shoes are...an 8 . It's a little tight. I'm unable to wear it all day long...meanwhile...I'm trying to wear it few hours a day hoping the leather uppers will stretch and make it more comfortable to wear it longer periods.

These shoes have some sort of an elastic bootie-liner thing that makes them very difficult to put on. Once on they are uncomfortably tight across the top of the foot near the ankle. There's no way to adjust it. I couldn't wear them for more than a few minutes in the house. Really too bad because otherwise they are lighter weight, flexible, and the footbed is pretty comfortable, although the insoles are kind of thin and flimsy, Had I kept them I would have had to replace with something with more arch support. These would be much better as a regular shoe with laces.
