I bought these to replace my more rugged-looking Keen hiking shoes that I've had for 10 years. I was excited to try a more lightweight, slip-on option that could also pass as a casual sneaker. Unfortunately, I wore them for only 15 minutes in the house and could tell they were a strange fit. I ordered my usual size. The ankle opening was tight (as mentioned in other reviews), but I was able to slip in my foot. However, the shoe was way too long, and strangely tight around my ankle and midfoot and roomy in the heel. They started to rub immediately. I tried to wear them longer to see if they would loosen up, but then my feet started getting numb from the midfoot compression. Taking them off was like a breath of fresh air. Maybe they fit better if your foot is really long and narrow? I'm returning mine.

Almost impossible to slip on...no give in laces...opening too small.

I considered getting a shoehorn to get them on. Feel perfect at first but then the toe box starts to rub. Excellent arch support. A tad too heavy. I'm lazy and want shoes I can slip on and not tie laces. Too much effort to get them on.

These are adorable and I wanted to love them but my foot/heel slips out as I walk. Other reviewers stated they were hard to get on- I didnt have that problem and actually wish they were tighter around the ankle so that they wouldn't slip off. I wish the straps were less elastic and were adjustable with a lace lock or something so that you can get the right fit. The soles were very comfortable but I know I'd get blisters on my heel from it rubbing as my foot slips in and out.

I really wish you'd bring back the lace up version of this shoe which was far superior to the new design. It was super comfortable right out of the box. I've worn them out and am pining for a new pair. The current slip on shoe is way too tight to slip on. I will wait for you to bring back the old style.

This is a cute shoe but felt tight in the toe and loose in the heel. If anything, I need a roomy toe and snug heel.

These shoes are extremely difficult to put on, in fact impossible unless you have a shoehorn.

The shoe is so cute but this shoe has an impossible design flaw in sizing. I originally purchased a size 9 which is my normal size. That was way too long ( by almost an inch of space at the big toe). So I returned them and tried an 8.5 ( which is not my size!) and hoped it would be fine. This time the opening of the shoe was sooo small, I couldn't even try to get my foot inside. Seems like a huge design flaw. So sad, cause I really love the look . So both pairs have been sent back.

tried 9, then 9 1/2; both were too, too uncomfortable , too narrow, too difficult to put on.

When I pulled these shoes out of the box I was excited. I loved the way they looked, they were supportive and cushioned for hiking, and I loved the ability to just slip them on. As I started walking around the house I realized I couldn't keep them. As with some other reviews my heels kept slipping in them. I'd take a step and my heels would slip out and I knew instantly they weren't going to work. Unfortunately I had to send them back.

They looked great on the website, when I finally ordered them found it was almost impossible to pull them on, even when on they felt tight and hurt my feet even standing still. Sent them back.

I had hoped they would "slip" on but they are very difficult to put on. The opening doesn't expand easily and the inner lining makes it even tighter. Once on, they are fine.

The fit is ok but if you have a high instep they are difficult to put on. My issue is with the water "repellent" statement. This AM I walked on a grassy area, mowed 2 days ago. Dew on the grass but no rain. After 20 yards the shoes were full of water. I didn't expect them to be waterproof but I never expected this.

I'm at a loss of words for this shoe. Once getting the toe-box packing out, which had been pushed in so far and tight, the inside liner needed to be pulled out to get the packing out. The inside liner of both shoes was damaged by the packing in the toe-box area. That was the start. The shoe looked 'off' and was not possible to put on. Something is really wrong with these shoes. LL Bean, please do better.

They're cute and I love the color, but the collar along the top edge is itchy.

The "collar" on these shoes were sotight, I couldn't even get them on my feet. I was very disappointed because they looked as though they would have fit.

These shoes looked great and I really wanted them to fit but the size 8, which I usually wear, did not fit so I sent them back for size 8 1/2. Unfortunately, they are just too difficult to get on so I've sent the second pair back, too.

They were very uncomfortable. Wore them several times to see if I could 'break them in' but no such luck. They pinched badly on the sides.

Absolutely impossible to get on. I tried and tried but due to the way they're constructed, I could not get them on my feet. They went back, which was sad because they appeared to have everything going for them. Except the ability to wear them!

Looked great but struggled to get one on... so never walked in them.

Not a good fit, no support in the foot bed for me.

Way too hard to get on so I can't rate based on the fit, because they didn't! Going back as soon as I wrap the package back up.

I have a normal size foot and these were MUCH TOO NARROW and misrepresented "slid-on". Recent hip replacement, thought these would be perfect and even my husband had trouble putting them on me. Once on, comfortable but SO TIGHT that they made my foot numb. Very disappointed.

The opening for your foot is very small, definitely not easy to slip on.

Fitting was loose and the shoe is not attractive; average comfort but not overwhelming ahhh
