Bought many pairs for people through the years, these were a Christmas gift for my daughter

Y'all, these boots are the best. My parents bought them for me for my 20th birthday; I'm now 28. They have made it through all these winters of nearly daily use, every rainstorm, hiking, and multiple trips. They take a minute to break in, but after about one season they will become quite supple and worth the wait. I still get compliments all the time, which is saying something for a pair of heavily worn 8-year-old boots!

They do run big, even if you think "well I'm going to wear thick socks with them" THEY RUN BIG LOL!!!

Excellent craftsmanship. Roomy toe box. Can't wait to break them in more.

Fit great. Need to tie them tighter for the tongue part to lay more flat.

I absolutely love these boots! They are a little big but I wear thick socks anyway. They are absolutely beautiful!

The boots are sturdy, comfortable, have a decent grip thanks to the rubber sole, waterproof, and function nicely as a slip-on. I do wish I got a 10" as I like the freedom a tall boot affords me, but these are great. I am so glad they are still made in Maine, otherwise I would not have bought them. Thank you!

For Several years I tried to find waterproof boots that stayed waterproof when I walked my dog each day in heavily dewed grass. Non stayed waterproof very long. Then I got a pair of Bean Boots and they STAYED waterproof for many years. This is my second pair of Bean Boots and I look forward to many more years of waterproof, comfortable walking in wet grass conditions.

I have had these boots for YEARS! They have been on hikes, mud, snow and they have held up perfectly. They are so cute and trendy, I often wear them with jeans or a pair of leggings. They are perfect for the cold winters of Vermont. During my time as an L.L.Bean Student Ambassador these were always the item that first came into peoples heads when they heard L.L.Bean

I needed a pair of boots to wear in spring and fall while walking our dog and these are perfect. Paired with wool socks, I can walk through puddles, mud, and even a bit of snow, and my feet stay warm and dry. Very pleased!!!

So comfy, so sturdy and the easiest piece of clothing to clean! Also truly love the secure fit and build.

Love these boots! They are great for fall and winter weather. Very comfy, I walk lots and they never hurt my feet. They do run on the big side, so I would size down. But overall l love these boots, they can be dressed up or dressed down and are perfect for the weather right now.

These handmade boots are beautiful. The craftsmanship is second to none. I hope Bean never stops making these in Maine with such high standards of quality. The leather is substantial yet supple. The rubber provides great protection. The stitching is done with care and precision. Its impressive!

Love Bean boots. I use to hike in them years ago and they got so beat up that I had to throw the away. I have not had bean boots in some time but just bought a new pair. Very excited. Bean boots are the best.

Leather softens quickly. Perfect for rainy streets with heavy socks I'm ready for snow.

At first I thought the boot was too tight and I would not be able to get it on due to the flap integrated into the boot. But as time went by, it was easier to get on and off. The boot itself is fantastic. I hike through wetlands and forest roads with brush with no wet feet. The fit is comfortable. I love these boots!

Perfect for stepping off the curbs in Boston any time of year, feet will always remain dry!
