I like these shoes, they do run large, but I'll just wear heavier socks. I don't like how the heel is made. You can see it on the photo-the heel needs to be the same width as the base of the foot. the smaller size heel makes it difficult to work on uneven terraine. I wonder why LL Bean made them like this? I'll keep them. they keep my feet dry and are easy to slip on and off.

This is my second pair in 20 years. They last. They come in whole sizes only. I am a 7.5 in regular shoes and have worn a 7 in these for years. So I ordered the 7 again, but they are much too large. My feet are swimming in them. I will have to go to the 6, which I am hoping will not be too small. These new 7's are closer to an 8.5 than to a 7.5, in my opinion. I gave them to my daughter, whose actual size is an 8, and I will order the 6's for myself.

I ordered this and having read the reviews i ordered a size 7M at the advice. I am usually a size 8-8.5 depending on the shoe so I thought getting a 7 would be plenty small enough. However, my feet are swimming in the 7's. I have about a centimeter of space at my heel when my toes are comfortably in the front of the shoe. I will return these shoes and hope the size 6 is the correct size. when I tried on the 7's, not even wearing a pair of big socks filled up the space.

The rubber moc performed as expected. You must wear thick socks in order for the size to fit properly.

Love everything except that they run incredibly large. The description recommended purchasing one full size smaller if wearing normal sox. I purchased 1 and a half sizes smaller and my heel still comes out the back with normal sox. I need to wear thick sox or purchase additional insoles.

This is a good shoe to slip on to run to the office on those wet, snowy days and to run around at lunch. good at keeping my feet dry and allows for a quick change into office shoes. Good for keeping me dry cleaning off the car or out running tasks. They really do run large so follow the shoe sizing guidelines.

Suggested size for ordering was accurate. Width was narrow enough but heel too wide. Tried thicker socks but heel still too loose. I loved the quality of these shoes. Very disappointed to have to return them.

great shoes! very comfortablee! but make sure you order at least 1-2 sizes smaller than you normally wear-- these boots run big!

I ordered these shoes online because the local store was out of stock in the color I wanted. I normally wear a size 8- 1/2 or 9 shoes, so I followed the instructions that said order a size down and ordered 8. They are still really loose even with the laces pulled as tight as I can make them. When I walk around my yard the heel slips and pulls my socks down. I think if I put a fleece inner-sole inside they will be OK and I will be able to slip these shoes on and walk without the heel sliding. The tread is rugged and they grip really well on slippery wet ground, and they do keep my feet dry. They seem to be very durable and hopefully they will last as long as my last pair of duck shoes (over 15 years!)

Needless to say, they are huge. I was somewhat expecting this after reading other reviews, so I ordered a size smaller than usual. They are still big, however, as the weather cools down and I can wear heavier socks, I think they'll be perfect. Other than that, they seem really nice. I haven't had a chance to wear them yet but I'm looking forward to it!

These are very durable yet they really run large. I ordered a size smaller based on the comments on the website, but they are still big. I wear a 6 1/2 wide normally so I ordered the smallest women's size I could, a 6 wide. I wish they came in a 5. If I wear super thick wool socks, they fit perfectly. But with normal socks they are still large. I decided to keep them because I wanted a waterproof shoe that I could just slip on.

They fit well and love the color. However, for some reason, they bother my bunions when I wear them for long walks. So I am using them for quick trips outside.

My shoe size is 7.5 and I ordered a size 7 - figured I needed a bit smaller in a rubber moc/boot. The mocs are attractive and still a bit too big - but, since I plan on only wearing them in the winter, with ski socks - they fit ok - a bit loose - but, fine. I would not plan on using them for long walks. I'm pleased that I bought them for the rainy, cool winters in the Northwest.

They definitely run larger than normal shoes so DO order down in the size especially if you are ordering the wider sized shoe. Very comfortable with extra thick socks on and a good fit. I originally ordered size 11 women's but re-ordered size 10 women's .

I'm confident these will keep my feet dry on my mile walk to and from work. They are well made and attractive. A bit heavy for someone used to sneakers and I'll be adding a cushioning insole - but I do that in all my footwear.

I like these mocs, I have had trouble finding easy on-easy off ones and these are nice but I wish they came in half sizes. The ones I ordered are just a little too big so they slop but I know the next size down would be too small.

Love these, they're warm enough without the shearling lining. I wear them all the time, this time of year, with any attire!

These boots run large, so plan to wear heavy socks in them. Otherwise, they are just as I expected.

Love these rain mocs! Bought them for the cold and wet Appalachian Fall and Spring. The leather is a little stiff, but I imagine that it will soften with age. I love the short height because my legs and feet often get too warm in rain boots when I go inside. My only complaint is the sizing. I realize that they are sized big to accomadate for heavy socks, but they're a little excessively big, probably 1.5 sizes. I normally wear a 6.5, and the sizes only go down to six. (However, the width to lenght ratio seems normal -- not excessively wide.) They are barely small enough for me to wear with my heavy hiking socks. I kept them since I wanted them for cool weather anyway, but it would be nice to have a little more versatility with the socks I wear. Please, Bean, either make the sizing more true to size, or offer them in size 5! I would buy a pair of the red ones for warmer weather!

These are great shoes, but are very big! We have to return them and get a size smaller. I normally where a 7.5 or 8, and I am going to have to order a 6. But I would suggest these for everyone. They keep your feet dry!!

Seem a bit cheaply made but will serve the purpose of walking the dog or throwing them on to run outside when it's rainy. Regarding sizing: I am a 7.5 and had to order a 6.

All in all I am happy with this boot. I had a pair from LL Bean that I have worn to work for 4 years, they finally wore out so these are a replacement. They no longer offered the style I had so I decided on these. The size is a bit larger than the others and the fit is different but they are wearable. The only problem I have with them is after a week of wearing them the inside of the shoe is already coming apart. (The insole part) They do what i purchased them for which is keeping my feet dry while at work.

The rubber moc is perfect for outdoor yard use but the sizing is way off. I had to return my first pair because no where does it say the shoes run a whole size larger than the size you order. Even with a thick sock the 8 that I always wear was way to big. Ordered a pair in a size 7 and they fit fine, with a thick sock!

I have very narrow feet and was so excited when the rain mocs could be purchased in a narrow size. Though they are still wider than I would have liked, wearing my very heavy wool socks make them fit just fine. I have to really pull the ties to make them not slip up and down on my foot, but can do that and love wearing them!

I bought the same size shoe I always wear but when I put these on they were huge. I'd say get a size smaller than you normally buy.
