Brought the mocs back to LLBean Store in Mansfield because the tie broke first time wearing them. Didn't have the product in but gentleman were very helpful at the service desk and also in the shoe dept. Item was backordered but didn't take long in being delivered. Thank you.

I wear a size 7 1/2 wide and ended up getting a 6 wide. No lining, but warm and comfortable. Changed an order and received prompt, courteous service.

These are going to be great boots for me. I was hesitant to follow the advice and order an entire size smaller, but I did and it worked. I usually wear a size 10N, but I ordered a size 9N. The boots are just barely long enough, but a 10 would have been way too big. They are a true narrow, perfect for midweight socks, except for the heel, which is a bit wide. As other reviewers mentioned, one tends to slip in the heel area. But since I'm not planning to walk in adobe muck, these shoes are great for my purpose, which is mainly to walk the wet pear orchards.

Unfortunately, I hadn't read any of the reviews before purchasing. I wear a 10W, and usually have a problem with shoes fitting correctly. I swam in these, and they had to be returned. They didn't have another size for me---too bad, they would have been great for taking my dog for a walk in the rain!!

AS THE OTHER REVIEWS STATED, THEY DO RUN LARGE. I ORDERED A SIZE SMALLER AND THE LENGTH IS PERFECT, BUT THEY ARE STILL TOO WIDE. THE LACES CAN BE TIGHTENED AND THAT DOES HELP. SO AT THIS POINT I AM UNDECIDED AS TO WHETHER OR NOT TO EXCHANGE THEM FOR A NARROWER WIDTH.

I loved this shoe, but I ordered from the website and even though the color name was "sun/navy", in the picture it looked like a light tan and navy. When the shoes arrived, they were a bright yellow and navy, which I didn't like. I don't think you can rely on the colors in the pictures. Now I have to return them. Definitely order a size smaller, as other reviewes have indicated.

I followed the advice of other reviewers, and ordered a size down. Even this size was way too big. Maybe because I ordered a wide? When I exchanged it for a smaller size, I was much happier. The shoe was very cute. It is easy to slip on and off, and I've already had quite a few people comment on them. The laces do not seem very sturdy. Customer Service was excellent when I needed to exchange the first pair.

Bought these shoes to wear when I volunteer at a greyhound kennel (easy to clean), they are super comfortable, but they really run quite large. I typically wear between a 10 and 10 1/2 in shoes and sneakers and based on the reviews, purchased a 9 and they are still too big. I am wearing them right now and had to wear two pair of socks; however, I like them so much I am not returning them.

I have longed for a pair of these for years & received them as a Bday gift from my husband. I'm consistently a size 7 so he ordered a 6, as the instructions said. There was NO toe room, even with thin socks, but could tell a 7 would be too wide. So I returned them (there was about a month back-order wait, & LLBean kept me informed of this in their usual helpful fashion) for a 7N. This fit is much better, and are most comfortable with med-thick socks. With thin socks, they tend to rub the side of my foot. They are wonderful slip-ons for dog care, refilling bird feeders, & running to the grocery, gym or post office, especially in rainy/muddy conditions. The tread makes them good for mild icy conditions and they clean up easily. I like the blue very much. Thanks LLBean for a practical, sturdy product that I'm confident will last for years! I'm thrilled to finally be an owner!

These are so easy to slip on when running errands. I love them. Warm and comfortable.

I ordered these to replace a pair that was at least 25 years old. When I called to ask if the sizing had changed I was told no, so I ordered the same size as the old pair. They were way to big. So after exchanging them for a full size smaller they fit great. I look forward to at 25 years of wear out of these also. I do have to say that I replaced them not because they were worn out but because after getting them wet and muddy so many times over the years and not taking care of the leather, I just wanted to replace them.

This shoe is good. Like other reviewers have said, runs large. I ordered my usual size 9 and the shoe was absolutely huge and impossible to wear even with ragg wool socks on. I gave them to my husband and just ordered another pair in size 8. Much better. Still have a little slipping of the heel of my right foot, must be my smaller foot, even with ragg wool socks on.

I love this boot. However, please note: I have the LLBean slippers in size 9 (and I wear an 8.5 or 9 sized shoe from any other company). With this boot, I had to return mine for a size 7 - since both size 8 and 9 were too large for my feet. I recommend that anyone ordering this shoe orders a size or two smaller than they normally wear.

I'm glad I read the reviews before I bought this boot. I wore these for years quite a while ago and loved them. I bought a size smaller than I normally would have. They are still a bit big with a heavy sock on, but stay on my feet. Having a little trouble keeping them tied because the ties are still stiff. I'm sure they will relax. I am outside and walking no matter what the weather. I'm glad to have them again.

I read the reviews before I ordered so I knew they ran large and wide. I normally wear an 8 but ordered a 7. You can tighten the shoe strings on the sides to help with sizing and also wear thick socks. They definitely keep your feet warm and dry. If you don't mind wearing thicker socks I definitely recommend these boots.

I love these boots! I made sure to read the reviews about the sizing before I bought them. I wear a size 10, so I decided to buy several different sizes to make sure I got the perfect fit. I ordered a 9D, 9B, and and 8D. The 9B fit perfectly, so I sent the other two back. Of course, I have the LL Bean credit card, so return shipping is always free! :)

If this fit, it would have been great to have on wet days. I normally fit in a 8AA (narrow), but ordered a size down as suggested. Too short. Then ordered the size 8 narrow and it fit well except the heel was quite wide and my foot slipped out with each step. Sent both sizes back and will have to pass on wearing this shoe. I can't speak for someone w/ a normal width foot, but the narrow size has a wide heel.

I normally wear a size 8 - 8 1/2 narrow. I ordered the 7N and it is large and wide. I have to wear thick socks with them. I'm not sure why they aren't made true to one's regular size. The reviews were helpful. They are well-made and stylish, though.

boots are just what I need to keep my feet dry. I have 2 dog that need to go out all times of the day. I just wish the fit was better. Having to wear special socks that won't fit in my regular shoes is a pain. But I wouldn't trade them for anything else :)

these run very large. I wear a 10 wide shoe, which is a perfect fit. I ordered a 10 wide moccasin and there is at least an inch space at the heel although I put on my heaviest socks. Since there are no half sizes, I have to order a full size larger, and chances are they won't fit with heavy socks!

Bought a size 8 since I am a true 8.5 and no matter how tight I pull the strings and even with my thickest socks they are slipping off my heel as I walk. Going to return and wait eagerly for the 7. Excellent construction, comfortable and perfect for rainy days.

Same great boot as always. The other reviews said order size down, so I did. They fit well with thick socks. If you want to wear with thin socks you might want to order 2 sizes down.

Like about everyone says, the boot is big, so keep that in mind. Still I'm wearing it with thick sox and my orthotics and it comes close to fitting. I usually wear about a 6.5 and I ordered a 6. It's roomy! But it's great for our rain and mud lately. I still think it's a good choice.

Yes, order one size down. I agree with the reviews that said they were large in the heel area, but still very comfortable. I've only worn them around the house (waiting for rain), but they feel like they would offer good protection against the elements. They are not glamorous, but they are what they are supposed to be, and they should last. I'm glad I have them.

It's been a wet fall and I've had many outdoor activities. The LL Bean rubber mocs have kept my feet warm and dry.
