My shoe size is 6 1/2 wide. The 6 wide which I ordered is fully a size too large in length and Bean does not make them in a 5. Please consider all of us smaller-sized women - and there many among your customers - and produce this moc in a 5 - narrow, B and wide. Thank you!

Seem loose. Will have to wear heavy socks, but love LLBeans ducks.

I wore these years ago (20-30), and they are as nice today as they were back then! The fit does run large, as the card in the box explains--meant to fit over heavy socks. I usually wear 9.5-10, got 9s and they fit just right. I use them to run out to the barn, so sometimes go w/o socks, but I remedied the fit issue for the summer with an additional pair of cushioned insoles. The fit over socks will be great in the winter. They're comfortable, offer good traction, and keep my feet dry. The generous fit can impair stability.

As everyone has noted, this shoe runs very large. I usually wear a size 6 in women's, so I knew that they would be big when I ordered them. Sadly, even in my thickest socks, they're still a little large. Definitely still wearable though. A size 5 would have been prefect.
As for the rest, the shoe does great for rain protection and still looks cute. Rubber mocs are becoming really popular around my campus, so it's nice to find a high quality pair of rain boots that also look trendy.

I had a pair for more than 20 years and they finally were done!I have been looking for these for a while and it is not easy to find them in such vibrant colors. Since previous reviews suggested that the shoe ran large, I ordered one size down. Still a bit large, but I like wearing them with big wool socks, so they are great.
A must have for all wardrobes particularly as the snow melts and jumping puddles is not advisable.

They work well keeping my feet dry
on my early morning walks in the grass
with my dog. I did order a size smaller
but they are still too large. I have to
wear double socks but they're still
not very comfortable. Wish I had
gone down 2 sizes.

This is our second pair of Bean rubber mocks. They are good shoes, last a longtime but run very large. We will definitely buy another pair once these wear out in 10 - 15 years.

Normally I wear a wide in all shoes. If you wear a wide, just order the medium or regular width for these mocs. They are plenty wide. The wide widths are too wide. There is also plenty of room for toes in your size. Even with socks, they are plenty big. Overall, they are nice quality mocs.

I listened to the reviewers and LL Bean who recommended ordering a size down from my usual. My mocs fit great and keep me dry. The inside of the heel is pretty rough in stockings, so I inserted stick on heel protecters, and now they're really comfortable, too. I would have given them five stars if the heel was comfortable without the inserts I put in, though in socks they'd probably be fine. I highly recommend them!

Waterproof shoes are what I wanted and got. Fits pretty good, but when I pull lace tight enough around my wide forefoot and narrow heel, it rubs on my ankle (right). Thus I must wear socks (not stockings only). Heavy downpours do penetrate a bit inside on the sides of the shoe. I want something for spring, summer and autumn rains. This seems the best. Wellies are too hot for spring/summer downpours.

ordered the MOCS because my husband has a pair and swears by them. My only problem is these were available in whoe sizes only and so, they are too long and I will have to wear wool socks in them. Not good when the weather is hot!

I really enjoy being able to wear this boot all year long. I purchased them to work in a community garden that was very damp (rain). I like the boot being shorter than other boots (have large calves).

order a full size down - these have all the features of a bean boot with easy slip on for quick out the door usage. I sent them back because I was looking for something more secure for trails in the woods. My husband swears by the no slip traction of bean boots!

I like the boots a lot. The only problem for me is that I have a narrow foot and although I ordered the item a size smaller as suggested, the heel is still quite wide. I will have to find an insert to make it wearable. On the up side, it has arch supports and is otherwise very comfortable.

I sure don't understand the 512 reviews saying these boots are big! I was told to order the size 7 for my 8.5 AA foot. Way too short. The 8's are ok...right there at my toes. An 8.5 would have been perfect if they came in 1/2 sizes...note to LL Bean...make 1/2 sizes. For the price, it seems necessary. I'm keeping them, though. The narrow is quite narrow and fits well at the arch. Just received them so I cannot speak to their durability.

I like the way they can slip on without struggling with a zipper, especially when I am in a hurry and do not want to get my shoes wet to run outside for a brief moment. Also I am glad to see them in a wide version.

Another rainy morning and I wore my new Rubber Mocs for the first time. I got the navy and tan and they look great. As other reviewers have noted, they are VERY oversized. I normally wear a ladies 8.5 medium width. I ordered a size 7 and with heavy socks they fit okay. Today, going to work and carrying my good shoes, I only wore "knee highs" and the mocs were very, very loose, especially around the heel. But, my feet stayed dry. For any longer wearing or walking would definitely have to wear heavy (e.g. cotton ragg socks) with them. Still, I'm glad I bought the mocs.

I was very excited to receive my Rubber Mocs... Usually I am a size 8.5 but because the shoes only come in whole sizes, I ordered a 9. Too BIG. :( Even with big socks these shoes will not fit. Unfortunately, they are going back. I am going to try the Coastal Rain Skimmers instead. :)

The catalog does mention to order down if you are a half size. Make sure you heed this advice. They run quite large. I am a solid 6 1/2, ordered the 6 and they still feel a little too big. I will keep them because I'm sure a 5 would be too small and I like them.

After reading reviews about going a size down - I could not decide whether to stay true to my size or going down to a size 8. - I decided to get the 9's since I often need a size 9.5.
Wrong decision.
The boots are so large my foot slips and slides when I walk. My feet are also a tad wide and the boots are still too large.
I bought these for a trip to Ireland - expecting to be walking in some wet weather. I couldn't take these with me because they are not good for walking - the sloppy fit makes walking tiring. Even with heavy socks and tying as tight as I could - they still are way too large. I truly thought a heavy sock would solve the problem - but it did not.
The poor sizing makes getting the correct shoe a real problem. Be well-advised to take the advice of the reviewers.

I had a pair of these shoes in navy blue many, many years ago. I loved them because they kept my feet dry. These rubber mocs I'm sure would keep my feet dry too. However, they were too big. Huge. I wear between 8 1/2 & 9.
When I order shoes from LL Bean, I always go down a half size. I ordered these in a size 8 and I don't think a 7 1/2 would do they were that big. (that's why 4 stars) Rather than risk having to return them again, I decided to send back the size 8 and not order another.
I ordered a pair of rubber flats and hopefully they will fit me and keep me dry on rainy days. If not, I give up on ordering shoes online. I'll be shopping in the LLBean outlet in Wareham, MA in June when we come to the Cape and maybe will find something that fits my hard to fit feet. Love LLBean!

I ordered my usual size 11, and they were too large. I re-ordered a 10 and the left one was slightly bigger than the right one. I had to return them again. I was sad to do this as they were very pretty and well made. The green and navy are a great combination.

I really love these "boots" which feel more like shoes. They are comfortable and keep my feet dry while walking to work. Pay close attention to the sizing recommendations--it's important to downsize with these. I normally take a 9.5 and bought these in an 8 and the fit is very good with socks (would be a bit loose without socks, but I didn't intend to wear them barefoot). I also think these are cute. They don't feel like boats on my feet--they actually have a pretty trim profile. Very happy with the purchase even though I initially thought they were a bit pricey--now I feel like the price was very reasonable.

Bought these to replace a pair of much loved mucks that puppy chewed. Tried new mucks but walked out of them. After reading reviews I bought the Rubber Mocs 2 sizes smaller (per other reviews). These are great with heavy socks but I have a narrow heel, wide toe box so with regular socks there is some slippage, even with heel pad. Am thinking of trying them with heel cup to see if that helps. I have a hard foot to fit because of wide toe box and narrow heel so can't fault product for fit--and ordering 2 sizes down made length just fine.
