I really like these Bean Boot mocs. They are great for wading through our badly drained parking lot at work after a rainstorm. They also make my big feet look a little smaller, strange to say. Based on other reviews, I ordered an 8W instead of my normal 8 1/2 W, but they were way too big. I exchanged for a 7W, and they fit fine.

Boots were great but come VERY large. I wear a women's 6 normally and they were too big- no smaller sizes and not in PINK!

Been looking forward to getting these but am going to have to send back for a smaller size. I normally wear an 8 1/2W - 9M but, after reading other reviews, ordered an 8W. This was still too big! I walked out of the shoes. Going to try an 8M next. L.L. Bean has such a good return policy, I'm going to keep trying until I get a pair that fits.

These are so comfortable and attractive!!! I have them in black, and they look, and feel so good, that I tend to wear them even when there is no rain or snow out! I wish they were in half sizes because I need to find the right weight sock to wear. That would be a nice change.

Ordered as directed ....i wear size 7 and I ordered size 6. The fit was just right; however, I have a narrow heel and it rubbed a bit so I've decided to return them for the lace up, shorter boot version of these.

I have a narrow foot and a narrow heel. I ordered a size down and narrow BUT they were still wide in the heel. Too bad, I really liked them. I had to send them back.

What a great "walking the dog" shoe AND for someone with a really big foot - this is a dream find! I usually wear a size 12 woman's shoe but bought the size 11 wide as it is the largest size out there. Lo and behold the shoes are huge- even with heavy socks I could have gotten a smaller size. So order away, but at least one size smaller than you think would fit.

I did not see the recommendation to order a smaller than normal size, I sure hope they still have a smaller size because they are great boots.

You said the mocs run large and they do, so DO order a size smaller than you normally wear! Construction and stitching is beautiful - exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the great quality.

To be honest, I ordered these for my husband. He wears a size Mens 7 and when I ordered that and they came in they were WAY TO BIG, even with thick socks they were unwearable. So, we shipped them back and had to order a Womens 8 (That becomes a Mens 6), yes that is how big these little guys fit! They are the same shoes as the Mens so there is no shame in getting the Womens, really the fit, colors and style all the same. The return was very fast (just took forever for UPS to get them) and the credit applies quickly. I love LL Bean and love the customer reviews....I should have listened to everyone when they said order a FULL SIZE DOWN...but I thought that was too extreme. NOPE! Order 1 full size down! Other then that they are great and he wears them everyday and everywhere here it CT! I recommend highly!

I am very happy with my boots. I bought the Narrows and there is still more than enough space for my winter socks. The only thing i don't like are the laces. They are not effective at tightening the fit and they don't always stay tied. Definitely run large and wide.

I took the advise of the review and ordered a size down. But, just like the reviews I do step out of them. However, for what I wanted them for is just fine. I needed something to walk across a slick parking lot to get into my work place and they are fine. I didn't pay shipping and I got 20% off, plus a $10.00 gift card, so I think it was a good deal. I am regularly a size 11 medium width and I ordered a size 10 narrow.

Shoes are great. They DO run large. Had to return them and order size smaller. There was a 2 thumb width space in the size I normally wear. should have listened to reviews..now have to pay shipping to return them.

I have had a pair of these for over 20 years and couldn't live without them! However with the new pair I have ordered, the heel is so wide they slip off with every step. I am used to a very loose fit but not floppy heel issues. Even getting the narrow doesn't help the heel fit. Not sure if I can live with the heel issue but the shoes are wonderful and really fill a need for gardening, rain, etc. They are correct in ordering a size down. I generally wear an 8.5-9 and the 8 length is perfect.

Very happy with this product, they run one size too big, so go one size smaller! They were not insulated!

I walk my two large dogs 3-4 times a day, and I needed footwear that would provide traction in wet weather or light snow. These boots are just the ticket. They are very comfortable and have a good heft to them. As other reviewers have noted, they run very large, and, although my feet are wide, I almost don't need the wide width I ordered. They work great with thick boot socks; I suspect I'll be swimming in them if I am wearing thin socks. Overall, though, I really like the boots and (I learned this weekend) apparently they are very hip these days with the younger folk.

So glad these now come in a narrow size. They are quite comfortable; however, I still need to wear a heavier sock. Have ordered the ragg socks as recommended.

I usually fit a size 11 Women's shoe -- but I read that they were large - so I ordered a size 10. When I received the size 10 they were STILL too big! So, I had to pay for the return and had them send a size 9! And that worked!! I am surprised their sizes are THAT far off!! But it is a GREAT boot!!

Long length but I compensated by wearing 2 pair of walking socks. After using them for a mile long walk, my feet were a little sore. Nice boot for wet day errands but not intended for a hike. Well constructed and good looking. I order the blue which works well with jeans.

I ordered mine a few years ago to wear to the barn on rainy winter days when I knew I'd have to walk though mud. They have great traction and have kept my feet dry. Only problem has been that the top sole became brittle from the constant wetting and drying, even though they were cleaned off after each use. Last winter a small piece - 2" x 2" - of the top sole broke off above my toes, leaving the interior fabric exposed. So far this winter my feet have stayed dry, even with the hole on top ! I still love these boots and recommend them.

My wife received the shoes and they way way too big. Too long, too wide. I wish LLB would offer a size smaller size 6 because they run so large.

I finally ordered a pair for me, as my father loves the ones I got for him several years ago. The reviews and info for the sizing were so insistent that they were large, I ordered a size 7. They are too small, and I have to exchange them for a size 8.

These were a bit large, but perfect with thick socks which is why I got them. They are super comfy and I love running around in them...:)
