I love the LL Bean rubber mocs because I wear them all year round outside - in the garden and the snow, however, these mocs were too large for me. When I returned them, the size I needed was no longer available so I had to purchase another color. If you're looking to purchase these mocs, try a size smaller than you normally wear. LL Bean is great when you have to return items, so my new mods were delivered within a week. Woo Hoo

I just slip my feet in my shoes and away I go. Not to mention no wet feet by walking into work, or shopping at the malls. When I wore my sneakers in the rain, it made for an uncomfortable day with snoggy feet. The only thing that bothers me is one shoe at the toes is tighter than the other causing the side of my big toe to hurt & ache. Perhaps I have a bunion. So I took out the inserts and replaced them with a thinner type. Also, I stuffed the biggest pair of balled up socks I could fine in the toes, in effort to stretch it out. I hope this method works, otherwise I might have to return them. I would welcome any other ideas.

I purchased these as a great run around shoe and to do my barn chores. The fact that they came in narrow was the biggest selling point for me. I've been wearing them for several weeks and they definitely meet my expectations. The biggest con is that they do loosen up with wearing and I'm always tightening the leather tie that makes them snugger though it has yet to become untied. Thanks to previous reviews and at the suggestion of the LL Bean rep, I ordered a size down which worked perfectly!

I love these for the waterproof aspect and the comfort and the look. The sizing is a problem though. I usually wear an 8 1/2 so I ordered a size 7 as the instructions recommended. The 7 was still too big with medium weight socks! Had to return them. I did not exchange for a 6 because I didn't want to pay for additional return shipping if those didn't work either.

As expected, but a bit larger than I would choose. Not quite enough to go through exchange. Heavy socks need to be very heavy and that may make my feet a bit over warm in spring when I need to wear them

You should believe the other reviews that the mocs run large. I always wear a 9 - that's what I ordered, and had to exchange for a size 8. There is ample room in the 8 even with heavier socks. Love the ability to slip them on and off easily. Great for walking the dog in sloppy weather. Appreciate LL Bean making ordering and exchanges a simple, efficient process.

Love these Mocs, love the colors (I have the navy/green combo), but MAKE SURE you order a much smaller size than you wear in shoes. My normal size is 8 1/2, but I ordered a 7 after reading reviews ... and even though they are a size and 1/2 smaller than my shoe size, I still have to wear thick socks with them!

I guess I was expecting slip ons, but got an old timey lace up rubber moc. They do the job of keeping my feet dry on wet ground, light snow better than a slip-on. I just have to budget the extra time to tie the laces. The laces give the mocs a more personalized fit. LLBean is not kidding when they say order down on size - I ordered 1/2 size down and thought they were huge. I bought cheap Dr Scholls shoe inserts. Those plus socks do the trick, My only complaint is they are still a bit stiff after two weeks of occasional wear. - waiting for them to break in.

I received my duck boots today and found them to be very well made. I would have liked them to be a bit narrower in the heel and the heel to ride a bit higher on my foot. If I exchanged them for a Narrow, then the toe box would be too tight so I'll keep what I have. The heels do slip off too easily even with Wilson -40 below thick socks and if I tighten the laces then the boots aren't "slip-ons". So I am somewhat between the proverbial "rock and hard place"

I read the size cautions, but ordered my regular 8M. When I received them I found the length was just fine, but the width was way off even with heavy socks. I reordered them in the narrow width and even they are still a little big in the heel but with heavy weight socks they are acceptable. I have received several compliments form others in my office. I love being able to just slip my feet in and not have to struggle with lacing up boots. Since I never have to wade through deep snow these work just fine, and I can wear them all day at work. Thanks once again for another hit LL Bean!

I love them they are great for wet messy weather. Fortunately I read the reviews about them running large, I ordered a size smaller and they fit fine. They run a size to a size and a half large.

I love these and have two pair, however, I wear a 9M and in this Moc I had to get an 8M, which is still too big. They need to make these in half sizes and true to women's sizes.

I ordered a 1/2 size down and they were still very big. I have a LL Bean store near me and got assistance figuring out the right size. I wear 81/2 and ended up with a 7! Great quality once I got the fit right.

Love it, the quality is really nice however; they do run large. I wear a size 8 and should have ordered a 7 1/2.

Love these duck shoes, but they do run a tad large. Ended up putting an insole in that helps.

These low mocs are great for slipping on before going outside for a short walk with the puppy, or a trip to the store. They look great but definitely run large; most all reviews of this product point this out. Just wear heavy socks & you'll be fine. Get lots of compliments on my navy-color moc. I really like these but they will be only cold-weather footwear because of the need for the heavy socks.

Cute and functional. Run a little large so I had to use to lace them fairly tight and wear thick socks to get them to fit securely. Great winter shoe to slip on in a hurry or wear with jeans on a rainy day.

I wear a 10 WIDE shoe. Even though I read a review from a customer who also wears a 10 WIDE, and had success with ordering a 9 WIDE, because of my high instep, I ordered a 10 WIDE. WHOA! Even with three pairs of socks, this moc was way too big. I exchanged this for a 9 WIDE ~ which fits great. I love being able to slip in and out of these with ease. No zippers or ties to deal with when coming in from the cold is great. I'm happy that I made this purchase!!

I leave these by the door and slip them on for quick runs outside. Great shoe for that purpose. I wear a size 12, bought a pair for me and a pair for my brother who is an 11. His 11's were way to big for him and my 12's were at least a size too large for me. I kept his 11's and they are still big but OK. Otherwise, a very good shoe.

I have a narrow size 8 foot and am VERY GLAD I took the advice of other reviewers by ordering a full size smaller. ( I ordered a size 7 narrow). The length of the boot is appropriate at this size but I still have some slippage in the heel (which happens a lot with my feet). This was corrected by using those stick-on inserts applied to the back of the heel. Instead of a conventional thickness sock, perhaps a medium thickness sock would also work.

Boots came exactly as pictured. Very well made. I normally wear an 8 but ordered a smaller size (7) as recommended on the site. Good fit with heavy socks (as recommended) but wider than most shoes. Heel still slips some but will get a heel pad to use in them as I do have a narrow foot. Would definately recommend ordering a size smaller than you normally wear to get a good fit. All in all pleased with the boots.

Great Shoes. First pair lasted approximately 10 years. The second pair purchased 2-3 years ago. The rumor is true, it rains in NW Washington and having a slip on that has arch support, traction and keeps my feet dry is a perfect solution. During the rainy season, I have worn my slip ons to the gym and stashed them under a bench to drain and have done so for years but recently someone felt they required the shoes and removed them. I had comtemplated buying another type but decided not to but to go with the tried and true. Have a suggestion that may assist in women finding a better size. A women's heel is narrow compared to a man's and the shoe design has a very, very wide heel. I purchased a size 8 (wear 8-1/2 or 9) which is perfect in length and toe box but the heel swims. Despite tighting the leather lace, heel remains loose. Had thought about returning but probably wont

If you are 7 1/2, look to buy a 6! Wow! LLBean needs to rethink the labels on these! It costs time and money and customer satisfaction to have to send things back for sizing.

Too bad they do not make size 5! They really do run a full size too big, and I wear a 6. I have several friends who also wear 6. Two pairs to socks and they seem to work, only have worn once though. I tried the narrow, but they were too narrow.
