The 3rd time is a charm as they say. I take an 8 1/2 & wear heavy socks with this type of footwear so I ordered a 9 where they only come in whole sizes. Well, I walked right out of the 9 so I exchanged it for an 8. That was better but my heel kept coming out when I walked so I exchanged it for a 7. The 7 fit perfectly even with heavy socks. I would highly recommend these. I gave them a 4 star rating just because of the size issue.

I usually wear a 10 wide....these only come in size 10 period. Have to wear heavy socks with these or I walk out of them. Love them, but would have given 5 stars if more true to size.

This is my second pair and I love these. So easy to clean. I wear one to the animal shelter and the other at home in the garden. They do run large, so you do need to wear heavy socks in them (I normally wear size 8 1/2 and ordered 8, which is still very roomy). My only real beef is with the shipping. After UPS delivered it quickly to the post office, it sat there for a week before it was finally delivered. Maybe offer alternate shipping options for those of us who have sub-par USPS service.

the shoe itself is very nice, comfortable sole with a nice weight thats not too heavy - however its way too large - i bought a size 6 (smallest available) bc i normally wear shoes from a size 6-7. even with thick wool camp socks these shoes were way too big. returning them - although i would rather be exchanging them for a smaller size

I needed a new pair of rubber mocs. My old ones had lasted about 2 years and had withstood a lot of wear. Alas, the store I bought them at no longer carried them. A friend gave me her LL Bean catalogue. Since I like to buy American when possible, I decided these were the mocs for me. The quality and comfort of these mocs is far superior to my old pair. They fit like a glove EXCEPT the heel is huge. I don't think I have exceptionally narrow heels. So if you are thinking of buying them be aware of this fact. I'm going to take them to a shoe repair to see if I can remedy this problem.

I looked at a few reviews on these shoes and ordered a size smaller like was recommended. I love the product, but they were still too big, I could use a half size on this particular shoe that isn't offered

I love these shoes. I wear an 81/2M, but I ordered the suggested size of 7M. They fit perfect,except for the back by the heel. The shoe is wide for my foot at the heel area, but with thick socks they work fine. I wore them on a snowy day in Maryland and my feet were dry the whole day!

Only downfall is the shoes instability on ice. Other than that, I love the color, size & fit!!

I'm so glad I read all of the sizing information and reviews remarking how large these shoes are. I'm normally an 8-8.5 and the thought of buying a size 7 shoe made me very nervous. I wear thin or medium weight socks regularly, and these shoes fit perfectly in every pair of socks I've tried them with. I love these shoes. They're cute, comfortable, and I wear them daily this time of year. I love them!

I love this shoes! I purchased a size down and length is good. The only "bad" thing is they are wide in the heel. I debated returning them for a narrow, but I was afraid they would be too tight across the top of my foot so decided to just wear thick socks.

These slip-on waterproof shoe-boots are a wonderful addition to my foot wardrobe and are useful in 2-3 seasons of the year! They are not only great (with a thick pair of socks for warmth) for the winter season, but also for the mud season in spring. Very easy to slip on when on the run...(doggie loves them as well...gets him outdoors faster for his walks!). However, you do need either a liner or a pair of warm socks for warmth. Also, because they are only available in whole sizes and run a bit large, one size is a little too large (without a heavy sock) and the next size down is too small. Bit disappointed in color availability. When I purchased them last month, the new "Sunflower" color was completely sold out in my size (in-store, on-line and catalog), so I "settled" for another color that wasn't my first choice. (Shows their popularity!)

I purchased a pair of boots which were amazing so I got these for warmer weather. I purchased a size smaller than I normally buy. I will still wear these shoes, but even following directions they are a bit big. They will work great for what I need them for--working in the garden and walking around muddy soccer fields in the spring watching my kids play.

I really like the style of the shoe and being waterproof is a plus factor. However, it was hard to find the perfect fit with my flat wide feet. I am size 7 1/2. I ordered size 8 wide and it was too big and wide for me. So, I re-ordered with size 6 narrow and it was too small and narrow for me. I figured I could be size 7 and medium. It fits good in the forefoot but wide at the rearfoot. I'll just wear thick socks and it fits perfectly. I wore it for the first time for 8 hours during work (standing and walking) and it didn't bother me. It was so comfortable.

I love the ladies Mocs, but they run LARGE. I always wear a 9 in ladies shoes and ordered a 9 in the ladies Mocs, but even with medium weight socks, they are big on my foot. I was hesitant to return them for a size 8 as that just seems too small. I bought a pair of Dr Scholl's inserts and that helped with the medium weight socks, but I live in SW FL and want these Mocs for the wet, wet summer - and to be able to slip on without socks. I'll keep them and find a purpose for them though.

Good suggestion to order a size smaller, not sure why they can't make to fit standard sizing-definitely need thick socks if you have a semi-narow foot. Like the way the back heel fits, but caution if your foot is a definite slim as this shoe tends to run wide.

Perfect for slipping on to run out the door on wet days. Not warm shoes, but I don't need them for that. I sized down as recommended to wear with regular socks.

Returned a size 9. Ordered a size 8. They are still big. I guess the Mocs are designed for the 1" thick socks that you need in New England. I'm disappointed. I've wanted a pair of these for a long time. Now I have to buy socks that I won't really use just to wear the Mocs! In retrospect, I think I should have waited until I was at the store to try them on. Maybe they just don't make my size.

I like this shoe, and even waited since this color combination was on backorder. Unfortunately the color orange does not look anything like the online picture. It is bright orange! I will be returning these and ordering a more standard color combination.

Just what I was Looking for. The reviews were right, order one size smaller. Shoe laces were a bit funky. Not designed the way they used to be. I still am thinking about another pair.

This is my first experience with these. As recommended I bought a size smaller. My reg. shoes are 8M, so I ordered 7M. They fit just fine across the front of my foot, but are way too wide in the heel. (I always wear light/mid weight socks.) I think a 7N would have made them too narrow across the front, but without ordering another pair I can't say for certain. Maybe someone else could comment on that. I tried tightening the lace, it helped some but not enough. I nearly step out of the shoe with each step. I really wanted these to work because I wanted a shoe that's super quick on and off. I remove them every time I come indoors which is several times a day and often times my hands are full. The design of these are perfect for stepping into. If the heel was a better fit I'd keep them for sure.

These are very well made and comfortable for walking. Make sure to go down 2 sizes! The LL Bean sizing alert says to go down 1, but I wear an 8 to 8 1/2 wide typically, and the 6 regular fits me perfectly in this moc. I would guess that if you have regular width feet, you should choose narrow because the regular width fits my wide feet. Size down and you'll love them. I would have given these 5 stars, but I gave it 4 because you need to go down 2 sizes not 1.

These mocs are very well made, good quality. I have two pairs that are over 10 years old with much daily wear .I ordered a new pair But so far i have had to return 3 pairs because of sizing. So please, beware, order " down "in size & if you have narrow feet, do not get medium, they are not true to size even with the socks LLBeans suggest. have always been pleased with all of LLBeans products but not these mocs, only regarding the size.

Got these for walking the dogs in the rain. They're very comfortable, I'm sitting here in the evening wearing them. The lacing is odd though....it looks like it it was rigged as anafterthought.

I was looking for a rain shoe and a shoe I could use near the pond. I like to take my boys down to the pond to fish or skip rocks, and tennis shoes weren't cutting it. Didn't like pulling on my big rain boots (especially in summer), so these were a great alternative. Easy on/off. They stay just outside the door to the house in the garage. Great for rainy days/outdoor chores. I AM A SOLID size 10\11 NORMALLY. ORDERED SIZE 9 AFTER READING REVIEWS--FIT PERFECTLY, IF NOT A TAD TOO NARROW.

Great look, great comfort, and seem to be made so well, I probably will have them forever! The only thing I will caution you is that they seem to run a little large. Had to order a size smaller than I normally wear. Thanks LL Bean for making such a great quality shoe.
