Absolutely love the look of the moc! I usually wear a size 8 1/2 so I bought an 8. It was way too big. I returned the 8 and bought size 7. The 7 is also a bit big especially in the heel of the shoe. It's very wide. I called customer support who suggested I buy the super feet so I'l try this option and see if it helps.

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them. They are cute and timeless and go with everything!

I love the navy and pink color combination! These do run large. I am a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8 that I had to return for the 7. This is the 2nd LL Bean pair I have owned. The other pair was at least 25 years old.

You must read reviews before purchasing these mocs. I wanted the Bean Boot but didn't want to wail until March - so opted to get the Moc instead. I got the brown (basically because it was one of the last colors available in my size) and I do like the color, nice classic LL Bean color. I typically wear a size 7 normal width. In these boots I sized down to a 6 and opted for the narrow width (again, because it was the only size option left). It actually fits perfect even w/ a very thick sock (or tie the Moc tighter for a lighter weight sock). The shoe is very comfy more cushion and arch support than I ever expected. I would suggest buying these but keep in mind size down and perhaps go for a narrow width. Will probably order a second pair or be on top of my game and order the boots early next year.

I'm giving these shoes 4 stars since they appear to be a very high-quality product - good sturdy, well-made shoe. But, they were HUGE length-wise. It did say to order a half-size smaller, but that is not an option for me, since I wear a size 6 - nothing smaller available for me unless I buy kid's shoe (nothing similar offered in kids sizes). I had about two inches between my toes and the end of the shoe. It would be like running around in clown shoes!

These are going to make my daily trail walk a lot easier after rain storms. They do run large, so follow the sizing advice. The heels are wide, but I put in heel cushions and now they fit fine. I needed some puddle jumpers and these fill the bill.

Ordered these moc's as a fill-in because the regular Bean Boots are back-ordered for months. Unfortunately, they don't fit my foot and will be going back. One size down from my usual shoe size is still so large that I walk right out of it and two sizes down is too tight around my toes and the heel still slips as I walk. On the plus side - they are well padded and I think would be really comfy if they fit. I'm still hopeful that the regular boots will be a better match for my foot size.

These are great, but loose. I wear an 8 1/2 wide usually, but ordered the 8, as recommended. I didn't amend the width, and should have, to the mediumB. But, I still wear them with heavy LL Bean socks everywhere.

I purchased these rubber mocs as a birthday gift online. Delivery was excellent at 2 days. The sizing on Bean's web site was spot on so do pay attention to ordering the correct size. She is a size 8.5 W,so I ordered the size 7 W and they are perfect. She reported that they are sized right, comfortable and very supportive. They are new so I can't give 5 stars until some time and wear has passed but so far this has been a perfect shopping experience.

My favorite shearling lined gumshoe is wearing out and re-soling is not an option due to shearling lining. So I have tried three different sizes of the Moc with no success. However, the product is well made as are all LLB products. My problem is two-fold. First, I have narrow feet and the Mocs run a bit wide even in the narrow version. They also run a bit long...so if you typically wear an 8N you might try a 7N...but that is too short. Second, and most important, the lack of a shearling lining really means your toes are hitting the toe box or front of shoe. Even with a pair of socks on, not very comfortable. I love my gumshoes and hope you start making them again. They are perfect for working in the yard in spring when everything is wet as you can hose them off! We have almost every LLB product you make and love them all. They are reliable and last forever. Sure do wish you could re-sole my gumshoes. I love those shoes.

I love these shoes. I am so glad I took the time to read the reviews they helped me when I made my purchase. I usually wear a size 9 women"s. I have a wide foot so an 8 1/2 wide will work also. After reading the reviews I purchased the duck shoe in a size 7 wide. It fits fine in the length but is very, very wide, more wide than a normal wide shoe would be. I did keep the shoe and plan on purchasing the insert. I had to put a double thick insert in the bottom and I have to wear the shoe with socks and the heel is still a bit wide but at least it stays on now. I decided to keep the shoe given the fact that I will be purchasing the insert and I know that will also help tighten the fit. So don't think you are crazy to order such a small size these shoes run really big, I almost wonder if they are not a man's shoe. Love them though and made them work!

Based on the reviews, I ordered a half size down for my wife for Christmas. Since they shipped so fast, we received them prior to Christmas and she tried them on. They were still a little big but we ordered the Shearling Insoles and once they come in (they were back ordered), I think they will fit perfectly. I was bummed to find out they stopped making these shoes with eh Shearling lining, not sure why but those would have been perfect.

These were comfortable enough, and true to size in length, but too narrow. So, I had to return them.

I bought the bean boot mocs for when it's rainy in New England in the Fall and Spring, and the weather is wet, but the temperature unpredictable. Thus far, they are a great choice for that task. Since they are not lined they work on warmer days, but there is space for warmer socks. The quality is lovely, and I bought the boot guard leather dressing to reduce discoloration from salt and keep them maximally water proof. My biggest problem is that I am a size 7-7.5 in nearly EVERY pair of shoes I've ever worn. I went with 7, since I often wear 7.5 and want to be able to wear warm socks. However, the length of the boots was such that I would ABSOLUTELY trip. I returned and got a pair in size 6, and these are still pretty large. They slip in the heel still. I'm hoping an added insole will solve the problem. But now that are much more of what I needed. However, size 7 is average and size 6 bean is the smallest they sell! What do peoe with really small feet do? Wear kids bean boots?

The shoe is comfortable, warm and looks great. My only complaint is that the heel is too wide. I have wide feet to begin with but my heel still slips. I normally order a size 8 wide but ordered a size down (because of other reviews) and the medium width. They fit great except for the heel, which can be fixed with a thicker sock. Overall, these are a great pair of shoes to wear with a thick sock!

The heal was way too wide, even with heavy socks. So for those who have narrow heals, this isnt a good option. The rest of the shoe width and length wise was ok I have a pair of the 6 inch bean boots, and they fit fine.

.... but don't LOVE them. I ordered these in size 11 (normal size 11.5 / 12) and they were much too large, even with thick socks on. Reordered in 10 and they are better but only fit with tights or thin socks. If I put on socks thicker than trouser socks (like athletic socks), they are too snug around the toe box. I still like them enough to keep them though. It's hard to find cute SHORT rain boots and these in Deep Fuchsia/Navy fit the bill.

They have always been a pretty good product. They perform as advertised and there are no hidden flaws or characteristics. Simple attractive efficiency.

I normally wear a size 9 running shoe and 8.5 regular shoes. I thought that ordering a size 8 in these mocs would be fine because I had read that they run a little big. The size 8 mocs arrived in a timely fashion, but they were HUGE. Even when I tightened up the laces and put on thick socks, my heels were slipping out of them every time I took a step. I ended up sending an exchange for the size 7 mocs, which fit much better - they're a bit snug with thick socks, but at least my foot isn't slipping out of them! Also, while LLBean offers free shipping one way, if you send back shoes, even as an EXCHANGE (not just a return) they charge you the shipping on the way back. I understand paying for the shipping if I returned the mocs, but I just wanted and exchange, so I was a bit surprised and frustrated that I was charged that return shipping for an exchange.

Great shoe style and material just selected wrong size

I've already worn these a few times, and I really like them. I'm very glad that I read the reviews about how to choose the size, however. I usually wear a size 7, and a 7 1/2 in a running shoe, but based on the reviews I ordered a size 6. Then I carefully tightened the laces, keeping them laced the way they'd come, and so I've minimized the slipping at my heel. I was going to choose black, but that wasn't available for a few weeks. Now I'm glad that I picked the navy and pink, 'cause they make me smile. Thanks to those whose reviews helped me find the right size.

I was impressed with the quality of these mocs. I ordered a size down as recommended but still found them a little loose. Corrected the problem with thicker socks. Would definitely buy again.

The quality of the Bean moc is great and I needed a pair to replace another brand's that I had worn out. It took me one exchange to get the right fit. My shoe size is 7 W and the first pair I ordered was a 7 Wide, but they were too wide, so they went back and the 7 Medium is better, still a bit wide but okay with socks.

I have had a pair of rubber mocs since my college days (every college student needs a pair of mocs) from a very long time ago. I absolutely love this moc and wanted to purchase another pair. I was upset that the mocs don't come in smaller sizes. I wear a women's size 5!!!!! NO MOCS TO FIT ME. At the very least PLEASE HAVE THIS MOC IN A CHILDREN'S SIZE so I can order one for myself and son in children sizes. The boot in children's size is too much we don't want to be bothered lacing up a boot. This is a great moc to slip in and out of. For colder weather I added a sheepskin insert to keep my feet warmer. PLEASE MAKE SMALLER SIZES...

I read reviews and followed what others said and ordered a size down. They are a LITTLE loose in the heel with thin socks but with medium socks they feel good. Now I can go out sporting a newer look for me. I also have the LL Bean Boots and love them as well
