I've always wanted these and was psyched to finally get them! I heard they ran big so I ordered down...but they were still huge! I'm typically a 10.5/11 depending on the shoe and I have a wide foot. I ordered a 10 wide and they fell off me. I'll be exchanging them and can't wait to wear them!!

These shoes would have been perfect, IF there was a disclosure of how they run a full size too large.

I ordered double A width and the front of the shoe fits perfectly but the heal portion is way too large--so disappointed ~!

LLBeans's usual high quality classic Bean boot. Removable insole. They do run large-I ordered a size down from my usual size and they're still a bit roomy, but will be ok with thicker winter socks. They have definitely kept my feet dry on a rainy day, but not yet sure if they'll be warm when it gets colder.

I just received these shoes. They are beautiful to look at but they are not kidding about the sizing! I wear an 8W and I ordered a 7M and my foot is still sloshing around due to the width. The length was spot on with the narrative for the width in the front for ventilation. The online rep told me to order my usual width but I can only imagine how big a wide would have been. I even tried my husband's socks and just walking around the house my heel rubbing hurts. I just ordered the rag wool socks and am hoping that does the trick. I truly want these to work. I had a knock off brand for two years and they are not holding up. I think with a thicker sock I will be good to go. I love to have shoes like this to run errands in the rain and sloshy winter weather we have in the North East

These are really nice! The quality and comfort are good except for the heel - it is way too big. Even added wool socks and it still slipped up and down. The outsole is awesome. I am so disappointed but they must go back. First time I've had this problem so the heel is extra large compared to average shoes. I usually wear a 7.5 M.

For me, the shoes were too cumbersome and heavy. I needed to pack them for a trip. I settled on waterproof hiking sneakers which I loved. With that said, the shoe also ran big, so unless you were going to wear with heavy wool socks, order a smaller size. They were certainly well made, just not what I needed for my trip.

I wear a size 7 and ordered a size 6. It was still big, so I then went back and ordered wool ragg socks to fill-up the shoe. Unfortunately, they itched and still didn't fill up the shoe. I found some old heavy hunting socks I had in the back of the drawer and they did the trick. But I definitely can't wear these mocs without the socks; boot is stiff and too big. So be careful when you order sizes, and be sure you have really thick socks!

I really, really wanted these boots to work. I ordered a size down as advised on the website, in a B width which is my usual. Although the length was ok, they were much too wide. So I ordered another pair in A width (narrow). That pair were too tight in the front and still slipped a bit on the heel. So I reluctantly returned both pair. These are great boots...just be careful when sizing.

Purchased these for use at the stables, for general work and when in the wash rack. Normally wear size 9 1/2 Wide, so tried 9 first. With cotton athletic socks they were a bit big but able to be used, width was fine for my feet. Next time I ordered the size 8 and they fit like normal shoes with the cotton athletic socks, width OK (like D width). The rubber part functioned well to keep my feet dry. One of the pairs had a dyed leather top, every time this became wet it bled dye unto my white cotton socks, so I recommend you get the natural color leather.

I LOVE this moc. However, the fit was a little off. I wear a size 7, instructions said to order a size down (6). The six was too small-will have to return. Still love the product.

Great boots for rain, but since I live in a temperate climate and knew these ran big, I ordered a size smaller. I needed TWO sizes smaller because I'm wearing them without super bulky socks. These are really, actually huge. I wear an 8 and needed a 6. And order way early. I wanted them for Christmas, got them in March, and now need to return them for a smaller size and won't get them until May. Really, really hope the 6 fits, since I've waited 6 months to get these.

When I ordered the mocs the first time in my actual shoe size, they were way too big (both long and wide). I called customer services and easily reordered them in a size smaller and still in a D. They fit well now with medium socks and the warm inserts I bought along with them. They do still slip a bit in the heal, but not so bad that I cannot walk comfortably in them.

In a well made shoe I am a 11AA and 11 in runners but for everyday shoes 9.5 to 10 depending on the style. So, I ordered 9 (one size down) and N wide because width is issue with regular shoes. Happy to say my 9N fits great, little slipping on heal with light sock but glad they loose. Needed rainy weather shoes that could stand up to mud and lime rock and easy to get on/off.

Loved the Mocs but the sizing is much too large. I ordered down a size and they were still much too large with a mid weight sock. Please LL Bean...make them in a 5 or 5 1/2 for smaller women!

I ignored the salesman and the customer reviews and ordered my regular size 9. I did this because I wear inserts and thought my cause was unique and that I could probably use the extra room. My feet were slipping out of the shoe even with the inserts and a medium weight sock. I will be returning them to the store and trying a size 8. Love the shoe though.

I got these to have a quicker version of my 8" Bean boots to just slip on and go on the run. These work the same as the boots, same sole and all. Obviously they are much shorter so water and snow may get in. But on clearer days when I need to run to the store, etc., these are my go to! Sizing was a bit difficult but I made it work....

I wear size 11, ordered size smaller like recommended. It was way to big and wide. I ordered a size smaller in the same width it was the right length, but too small in the toe area. Given up, will try something else.

Great shoes. Practical, comfortable, and stylish. I would give them 5 stars except for the sizing issue. I wear an 8 1/2 and based on the directions and reviews, I ordered a 7 (advice from LLBean) and in narrow (advice from reviewers, though I never wear a narrow). It was too small. The 8 is a little large for regular socks, but with thick hiking socks, they are perfect for slipping on and off easily and comfortable to wear. Overall, though, I really love them and the color (tan) is nice and versatile. My husband was jealous, and we are ordering a pair for him, too!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes. I love the look, the water-proof-ness, the quality. The size thing, though, is so annoying. I wear an 8.5. I ordered an 8 and even with thick socks, they were huge on me. I exchanged them for a 7, which fit much better (and I'm keeping!), but they are still loose in the heel, even with thick socks. It seems like it's less an issue of sizing at that point and of fit - lengthwise it fits, but it doesn't grip my heel/foot. I would highly recommend these - just know to order way smaller than your normal size and even then they might slide off.

I found them to be a bit large. I was able to adjust the laces for a somewhat tighter fit.

As stated, these boots run large. Either order smaller size or add inserts from other shoes to fill in the gap. Very difficult to lace tightly to snug up the fit.

They run large, and they were quite heavy. They seemed very durable and would probably last a long time, but they weren't right for my purposes, and I sent them back.

DEFINITELY size down both size and width. I like them, but I'm not used to shallow heel height. They could be higher/deeper all around considering they are for snow/rain protection. But they do the job and are cute.

I live in Florida. I purchased these boots to wear when I walk my dog on very rainy days. I normally wear a size 9 but followed directions and ordered an 8. They were still too big as I would be wearing them with either no socks or very thin ones. I didn't exchange it for a 7 because I thought it would be too small. The boot just doesn't fit my needs but it is a great boot and I would have kept them if it were not for the sizing issue.
