The boots are the boots, just what I want in an LL Bean Rubber Moc. I am a true 81/2 and found the 8 even a little big. But as usual I am very happy with LL Bean product and service.

Size 7 medium fits my size 8 feet perfectly. The rubber mocs are great for walking my dog and other rainy day activities.

These are the perfect wet weather shoes for those early morning walks with the dogs. We live in the snowbelt of Ohio and it's wet and sloppy outside from Nov-April. I just slip these on and my feet stay dry while dogs go out. They do run large but with heavier hiking socks they are perfect. I wear a 9M and bought a 9 in these shoes.

Decided to purchase since I live in a warm climate that has heavy rain frequently. The quality is great. Follow size recommendations--I had to go down two sizes since I will not be wearing these with heavy socks and I normally have a wide foot but did not need to order the wide size. You may have to play with the sizing until you get it right. The return process is simple and easy, customer service reps are helpful. The quality of the stitching is good as are the materials used. They are a perfect gift for a college student since they are a comfortable slip-on and allows them to be prepared for several weather scenarios.

I love these. As long as you follow the sizing recommendation, they are perfect. They keep your feet warm and dry, and they are extremely comfortable. Great for rain and mud.

These are the most wonderful boots ever. I love them. Order one size smaller than regular size and perfect fit. They are wonderfully comfortable and traction is excellent. Best ever!

I love my Rubber Moc boots but I've worn down the heel now and need a new pair. Unfortunately because the sizes run so large, I can't get a pair to fit anymore. I wear a size 6 but would need to order a size 5 in this boot. CAN YOU PLEASE BRING BACK THE SIZE 5 ??

I love my new Rubber Moc's. I wear them everyday to go out to check on our sheep, do gardening, and walk my dogs. As recommended, I order the one size smaller than my normal shoe size and they fit perfect. They are warm, cozy and very comfortable, and made in the USA.

I am glad that I read the reviews before purchasing this item as they run very large. I ordered a size smaller and they are still a little large. When wearing heavy socks, they are ok.

I wear size 8-1/2 AA so I ordered an 8N. It fits a little loose in the heel, but I'll wear it with socks, so that's OK. I was afraid it would be too short, but the rounded toe allows plenty of room. It makes a perfect slip-on to take the dog out to the yard or to the dog park. I probably wouldn't be able to wear it for walks, though, because of the heel slipping.

I recently received the rubber mocs that I ordered. It was suggested to order a size or size and half smaller than my regular size and I was skeptical about doing so but found that it was very good advice. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2 shoe and the 7 I ordered fits well even with medium or heavy weight socks. The mocs are great. Easy slip on, and adjust for additional snugness (if need be) by tightening the leather tie. They're great for wet weather on the street, or working around the garden doing fall clean-up. They're well-made and I expect they'll last a very long time. I ordered the brown and love the color. They're great with a pair of jeans.

I have worn these shoes briefly and they appear to be very comfortable. It feels like I don't have snow shoes on.

I love this rubber moc and wore my last pair for 10 years...until the splits in the rubber forced me to buy new ones. However, the size I ordered, a 7M, was about a 1/2 size too large. I've worn a size 7M for as long as I can remember. Because they are made in the US (and not overseas where things seem to be made smaller) folks might want to take that into consideration when ordering.

These are just what I was looking for, the previous pair lasted for 15 years. They do run large, order one whole size smaller than usual.

I own the knee high Bean boots, but we recently got a puppy and I needed something I could slip on that could also be washed easily were I to step in something! I love them, they are extremely comfortable. So comfortable, in fact, that I tend to wear them as slippers. They do run large (I am a 6, so I couldn't go smaller), but I like being able to wear thick socks. As an added "bonus", puppy loves to chew on the leather ties, so I always know where she is when I wear them! :)

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I am very thankful for the sizing advice other reviewers gave. Definitely one size down is the ticket, and I would also add that I ordered the narrow even though I don't have an exeptionally narrow foot. They fit perfectly. I got them to use for work shoes (doing faux painting at a theme park .. sneakers not allowed) and have practically not taken them off in a week .. long hours on feet and they have caused no blisters or sore spots. Plus they are super cute and chic!

Believe them when they say to order a size down. I normally wear a 6 1/2 or a 7 and I ordered the size 6 in these. They are almost too big. When I tighten the laces they are great. If you wear big socks they will still fit fine!

My duck boots were just what I wanted! They felt a little big, but they'll be perfect when I wear socks with them!

I love my "gum shoes" I could hardly wait to receive them. They are the greatest when you have a rainy day or just working in the wet. I love working in the yard so with my new gum shoes I can work without the worry of wet feet. Thanks L.L. Bean for a great product. Willie

Great slip on shoe for outdoor activities. Feet stay dry and warm. Shoes run large. I wear size 7 dress, 6.5 boot. Ordered 6, and is roomy. The leather laces snug enough to keep shoe from heel slipping when walking. Thick socks or a thin foot pad may also help take up room. Best shoe I've found rainy weather.

This is an additional pair of these shoes, they will last me forever, they are indistructable. I love them!

Great product, but sizes are confusing. I wear a 8 1/2 shoe and in this item I wear a size 7 with a regular pair of socks.

As expected from Bean, high quality, good COMFORTABLE, fit. Great shoe, looking forward to foul weather to make use of my purchase.

ordered these boots for a fall outing. when they came 2 days before event they had sent wrong color. I called l.l. bean and talked to a super nice operator. she sent my new boots overnight so I could have them for event. I call that GREAT SERVICE! Boots fit wonderful- ordered 1 size smaller. Couldn't be happier!!!!!!
