I am pleased with these boots, but I ordered them a full size smaller than I normally wear, and they are still a touch too big. I think they'll be fine with heavy winter socks. I have admired my daughter's pair of these shoes, and look forward to wearing these for many years. My daughter loves hers, too.

The rubber moccasins are wonderful and super comfortable. Make sure to heed the advice to order down a size because they definitely run big-this from someone who has very wide feet!! The customer service was exceptional too-very friendly and helpful.

I bought these boots for my daughter for Christmas. Although, I have never tried myself my daughter swears by them. They are her third pair and she won't be without them.

I purchased these for my Mother-in-Law. She is 80 years old and they live on a Farm in Ohio. We had them shipped right to her house. She needs good boots to go outside to tend to the Cows. I read the previous reviews and ordered her a size 8 N. They are perfect!! She said she would be good in safe this Winter thanks to us.

I have wanted shoes like this for a while but was always disappointed because the mens version only ever came with brown rubber and I wanted something different. This year I finally decided to order a large, wide women's size and they are perfect (Though a little big at the heel in mid-weight socks). You should consider making men's boots with something besides brown.

I love these boots. Besides running a touch big, they are perfect to slip on.

These are great Bean boots - perfect for the cold and rainy winters here in the pacific northwest. The sizing of these boots is both long and wide. I ended up ordering one size down from my normal size and ordered a narrow to prevent my heels from slipping. They still seem a little long but the narrow hugs my foot better and will still allow me to wear heavy socks and get a perfect fit. These are excellent boots for slipping on quickly for dog walks and gardening. Both my husband and I have had Bean boots in the past and these are the same excellent quality we have come to expect. I am very happy with my puchase and would recommend to others.

These are perfect for slipping on in a hurry to run outside in the rain.

I have been wanting a new pair of these, I wore my other ones for years, I like the colors, and I'm so happy with them, I know they will last for years to come.

I have been eyeing these boots forever..I need a quick on/off boot to go outside to take out trash or get the mail etc. I am normally a size 7W and I listened to the other reviewers and went down a size to a 6W..they are roomy and that's ok because I wear a thicker sock in winter. I love I don't have to struggle to fit into them and tie or ziper them up..just easy on and easy slip off when I get into the door and when I go visiting family or friends. I Love Them !!!

I love my Bean boots! They are comfortable and waterproof, and I can wear two pairs of socks with them for extra warmth. I got the green and blue version, which are cheerful and colorful. I really like these.

After living in Iowa my entire life, and becoming more and more frustrated ever year about always slipping/sliding around, and cold, wet feet... I decided to invest in a pair of LLBean Boots this year.... and it is a GREAT investment! This was my first LLBean purchase - and I spent a while trying to figure out what the best fit would be for my needs. I ordered the shoes according to the recommended sizing. I wear a ladies 10 wide, and ordered a 9 wide - and it was perfect! I've recommended these to everyone I know... Iowa can be pretty miserable in the winter - so these are exactly what is needed. My only disappointment was that the green color I hoped to order was out of stock and wouldn't have come in until January - so I went with a natural/blue. Ultimately it didn't matter because you can't see the tops when I'm wearing them. I'm debating whether to purchase the shearling lined version - but want to get a sense of how warm these are when the temps really fall soon.

I had tried this shoe many years ago while living up in Alaska, loved it then so I decided to order a new pair recently. I read the reviews and I would fully agree with them that these shoes do run big so order the next size down. I would also agree that they are perfect for the rain, snow, and slush of the Pacific Northwest. Best most comfortable shoe I have bought in ages!!

I purchase this same item in the earlier 80's. I need a new pair because I have a whole in the pair from the 80's. I hope the new pair lasts 30 years.

I was looking all over for these and LLBean was the only ones that had them.They are comfortable and the size was perfect. They are the best boots for the weather up north because they keep your feet warm. I was satisfied with the prompt service and fast delivery. Thanks LLBean!

I selected the perfect rain shoe. It slips on easily, and I run off to do errands in the rain and snow. I ordered my regular size so I could wear socks in cold weather. The moc is a little big for my foot without socks (it was suggested to go down 1/2 size for a perfect fit). I originally ordered another brand from another company. The rain boot was tight and uncomfortable, so I returned them. I am pleased with my purchase.

Love this all purpose moc. Pay attention to the sizing before ordering. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and the size 7 is perfect. I put them on right away and have been wearing them every day since. Thank you for a wonderful product, one I will surely order again in the future.

I moved to Oregon over a year ago, and since then have been searching for shoes to wear when it's rainy. I have knee-high rainboots and heavy duty hiking boots, but I needed something easy to slip on for the every day wetness of Oregon in the fall, winter and spring. After purchasing and returning various options, these rubber mocs are finally proving to be everything I was looking for. They keep my feet dry, offer great traction, are easy to slip on & off (you don't even have to bend over), and are the same classic look that I remember seeing on my folks throughout my childhood. So, almost dorky but in that cool kind of way. The one thing I'll say is that they run big! I'm usually a 7.5-8, and these don't come in half sizes so I ordered an 8 (it says to bump up as you'll likely wear thick socks). Well, they were WAY too big. But the kind customer service man on the phone quickly shipped me out a new pair that very day, and the 7s are working out just fine. Still on the loose side if I wear regular cotton socks, but fit just right with heavy wools. Additionally, even though the size is pretty accurate, the shoe-shape and placement of the laces make them feel a little loosey-goosey at first, but I got used to it quickly. All in all, I'm quite pleased and highly recommend them!

I had a pair of these boots when I was a teen, and I never forgot about them. Now that I have a new pair, I can see why I liked them. The boots have an awesome arch support, and I like how the heel fits snugly into the boots- further giving outstanding support. As I write this, it is 9 degrees in Milwaukee, and there's snow on the ground. I have a pair of regular sport socks on. My feet were warm and dry. I moved my feet over the icy surface and there was some grip, but not a great deal. I plan on making these boots my everyday go to footwear.

I ordered down a size as other reviewers had suggested. I normally wear 8-8 1/2 and I ordered a 7. The length is perfect though the moc is roomy in width. It will take a thicker sock for full comfort. This shoe is perfect for the dog park, shopping and just being out in our NW rain. I'm still figuring out how to best adjust the laces for comfort but know this will be a everyday choice for town, beach, mountains. Thanks Bean!

I bought these mocs as a gift for my aunt. She had looked at several different retailers but could not find one that carried both the correct size and width. They fit her perfectly. She loves them.

This is my second pair. The high top of this same design I've worn for 6 years and still like new. Wonderful boots for traction and warmth. This pair is the slipper design. Highly recommended.

Great for wet and muddy weather or for slipping on for a quick run to the store. I have had mine for 3 years and they look like new. I ordered a pair for my daughter-in-law who admired mine. She has a wide foot and is hard to fit. Her pair fits her perfectly.

I bought myself a pair of muckers last year and have never loved a shoe so much! I normally where a size 9 1/2 and bought the 8N which fits in the length but just a little wide (I have very narrow feet though). They are easy to slip into and very versatile...great for tramping around when the weather is wet, fishing in the bay, or for mucking out stalls. The leather is wearing very well and the ties are still strong.

What can I say these are truely great shoes. They are durable and last for years. It is perfect for my needs. I am always hesitant to order a size smaller than normal. This shoe--it would not have been a problem. I bought them to wear with very bulky socks so this works great for me.
