My first pair and I love them!! I actually look forward to rain and snow now knowing my feet will stay dry. You will have to order a size down to allow for thick socks. They make them bigger to allow for thicker socks. I wear a 7 1/2 wide and I ordered a 6 wide and they fit even with everyday socks or thick socks..You will love them!!

These boots are definitely worth the price. They are insanely comfortable. I can wear them all day and at the end of the night, my feet feel great. They're warm without being too hot and the height is perfect.

I wear a 9, followed instructions and ordered the 8. They fit perfectly! I had these boots growing up, and can't believe I ever tried anything else. So glad to be back in my Bean Boots! I won't ever buy another kind again!

These are great boots. Perfect for small snow storms and walking on icy parking lots. As usual, Bean products are terrific.

This was a great Christmas gift the fit and construction of the boot are great! I was glad to find out that they still make quality out there and was happy to pay more for that. I found similar products online but I knew I could trust buying something that would last a lot longer than one season. Thanks LL Bean keep up the work and don't change!

Ideal for wet, chilly, Georgia clay winters. And if it's unusually chilly, I can pop in warm socks & there's room for them.

I have had bean boots my whole life. When I was little they made me feel like I could go anywhere in the snow and rain! When I got old, my daughter stole them from me! Not really, I have been in the south and never used them. But I'm spending more time in the north, and my husband just gave me a new pair for Christmas. I'm back to going everywhere in the boots I love.

My wife loved these boots, they fit perfectly. She normally has a very hard time getting any shoes to fit. Thank you for a great product, worth every penny.

I've been looking at these boots for a couple years and finally decided to buy them BEST PURCHASE! I wore them on a trip to Georgia for the first time for an entire day and they were super comfortable my feet stayed warm all day. Did not need to break them in or anything. They also look really cute with everything.I would definitely recommend these.

I love these boots! They are waterproof and comfortable. I normally wear 6.5 and sized down but I was still able to fit thick wool socks comfortably. I live in a warmer climate so I'm happy there is no lining.

I got these for rainy walks with my young granddaughters, who like jumping in muddy puddles. I wear size 11.5, so shoes that run large are a blessing for me, and these fit well with thick woolly socks. I wear custom orthotics for metatarsal support and the boots easily accommodate those plus another very thin orthotic for extra cushioning. As other reviewers have mentioned, the tongue is very stiff, but I sewed two coaster-sized pads using fabric scraps and quilt batting, and tuck them in behind the tongues and there's no discomfort at all. If you don't have batting, a few layers of flannel or terrycloth would probably work just as well. So, with my modifications, these are super comfortable. My feet feel good in the boots and there's no toe bang when walking downhill. I've worn them in the rain in mid-30s temps, and in dry weather in the 20s, and my feet stay warm. I don't know that they'd be quite as warm if I were just waiting for a bus or standing around, but for my purposes these are perfect. Very happy with them.

Excellent fit!! This is my first pair of Bean Boots and I wear them just about every day. I usually wear an 8.5 so this 8 wide is a great fit! High quality and durable and I love the 6 inch height!

Definitely follow the sizing recommendations! These are so comfortable, even with thicker socks. Perfect for those wet, winter days!

Love these, my first Bean Boots! Got them on 2 a day, I normally wear 9 medium, got 8 wide, love the fit! The leather is a bit stiff, but that will soften. Excellent product. On warmer days thinner socks and on cold days warmer! All purpose footwear!

These fit true to size. I usually wear a 9.5 men's shoe because they come in D width which is normal for me. Most women's shoes are to narrow and are uncomfortable but wore a size 10 for years. These are meant to wear with thicker socks to be an absolute perfect fit but are fine with a medium weight sock. I got these in green and they are very cute!

I had a pair of Bean boots that lasted more than 20 years. They finally wore out. Time for a new pair. They are comfortable and waterproof. A good fit. Just like I remember. The quality is still there!

True to size, fit perfectly. Every day wearable and comfortable too!

I have always had problems with shoes/boots fitting. Very few brands make a narrow option. I did order down a size from my usual 8 to a 7 both narrow. I had to send the 7 back. My true size 8 in narrow works for me. Very happy with customer service and speed of order and return process.

These are the BEST boots for the suburban or country gardener/landscaper. The 6" height is protective and cooler than higher sided boots. The wool socks keep feet feeling dry even in hot & humid weather, & make the sizing seem more accurate. Rinse clean with a hose. Last a looong time. Look cool with jeans. Just bought a new pair in green since my favorite blue w/burgundy textured leather are worn out. LOVE.

Like previous reviewers, these do run a tad loose but that's exactly what I want so I can wear thick socks in cold weather. I usually wear 8.5 so I ordered a half size down and still have room for wool socks.
