Bought these slippers and wore occasionally inside of house. Seam ripped apart rendering slippers useless. Attempted to add photos, but was unable.

I have purchase the shoes twice and could not get the right fit. I brought the first shoes was too small. The second one it was too big. I have try to make it fit by putting a shoes insert to midgait the problem but the shoes is still too big. But LL. Bean said after 1 year of purchase I can not get another one the right size. I think such premium brand can not stand behind their products is not acceptable. I would definite think twice to buy another LL. Bean product in the future.

It looked as though I received 2 different shoes. The left shoe was trimmed in tight around the ankle with shearling, the right shoe had it rolling out all the way around the ankle.......

They were supposed to be a size 12, that's what it said on the slippers and they fit like ballet slippers. No way a 12 and on top of that, it's been weeks since I returned them and still no refund. Never again.

I had foot surgery several months ago and I still need to wear wider shoes. I've been wearing women's wide sneakers, and since I know LL Bean shoes can run a bit snug I thought I would order a men's wide. I ordered a 8 Wide - but they were too long and incredibly tight. (I wear a women's 10 1/2 wide for reference - men's 8.5) I even tried to size up to a nine wide, and they were so long I was tripping and still too tight. Really disappointed. They were also sewn up differently. The left toe was clearly wider than the toe on the right moccasin, which is unfortunate, because the right side is where I need more width. I still don't think they would've fit, even if that toe was a bit wider to match the left. So incredibly disappointing. I used to love LL Bean's items and it looks like I won't be able to buy them anymore. It's too bad the quality has tanked. I'm not even really sure why I tried since my son got a pair of moccasins two years ago and the stitching ripped through the moccasin at the toe within three months, just wearing them inside the house, and his feet are narrow.
Disappointed I,

I know a few people who own pairs of the brown slippers and swear by them. I really liked the look of the black spruce, but my sizes didn't come in wide. I was hesitant but followed the size estimator's recommendation, and ordered a pair online (no stores in my state). Unfortunately, they were much too narrow. Whether I returned or exchanged them, I'd still have to pay for shipping, so I ended up just returning them to be done with it. Very disappointed since they looked to be well-made.

I am a true size 10 , medium width. I received these as a gift in size 10. After wearing them for a few months they have stretched out so much I cannot wear them. They now fit like a size 11 , wide width. I do not recommend buying these slippers.

I bought these slippers for my husband, who already has 2 of the same exact slippers in different colors. I purchased the same shoe, same size, different color BUT this time it was too small!!! Total bummer! We won't buy these online anymore and the brick and mortar stores are closing all around us. No place to buy them at an actual store. The sizes are unpredictable and I do not like the idea of buying more than one size and then sending them back because it costs over $6 to do so. If only they can keep the sizing consistent.

Purchased the same size I wear in every other slipper, they felt okay for the first week, then they began to get loose on me. They are so loose now they keep falling off my feet. I had to park them. I expect better from this price point.
Not sure if I can return them, but i'd sure like to.

Slippers came but the top of the left one appears to have the right foot's pattern causing a goofy fit and need to return.

I have had two sets of these slippers. I only wear them inside. Each pair has lasted less than a year before wearing out. Quality has clearly declined, especially since the lifetime warranty is no longer honored.

The quality of this product has plummeted. I had these years ago and loved them. My new slippers lasted four weeks before I returned them. In that short time, the shearing wore out from the heels on both the right and left slipper, about the size of a dime and a half dollar. The back of the ankle area fur was worn out and the underlying stitches were visible.

The tie came undone without me noticing, causing me to trip and fall when my other foot stepped on the untied string while walking. Subsequent retied fisherman's knots also came untied. The shearling was completely worn down within four months of purchase. The size tags are located inside the shearling in the bottom of the slipper, causing the tags to uncomfortably jab into the foot when wearing. Quality has gone WAAAY down since my previous purchase, and I won't recommend or purchase these slippers again.

I was perfectly satisfied with these slippers until defective construction occurred after I has worn them for 3-4 weeks (indoor - leisure only). When I saw sheepskin lining showing out of the right slipper heal, I thought the stitching had started to fail. It was not the stitching. The external slipper material had begun to fail and started to separate from the stitching. The item was returned. For the price, I was really disappointed to see the outer shoe fail with so little wear.

My husband requests a new pair of these moccasins every year for Christmas. Unfortunately we have had to send back two pair due to quality issues. We have found that the leather tie that goes over the tops of the toes has been pulled too tight and they fit tight across the toes. I have measured from last year's and there is more than 1/2" difference. Even sizing up they are too tight across the toes. In addition. the lining seems to have been reduced, especially in the area that covers the toes. Which makes the tightness exacerbated. I hope LLBean reads this and makes the necessary adjustments. Please let me know when you do, and we will once again purchase this product.

I have been wearing this style of slipper for 15 years or longer in the light brown style. I have no complains at all with the light brown style, but I received a pair of the dark brown slippers last Christmas as a gift. I have given these slippers 10 months thinking that the leather will soften for the bow to stay tied. Still having problems with it. Having a total knee recently , I do have concerns about the leather bow coming untied and possibility tripping me. Every LL Bean product that I have purchased or received as a gift has been excellent except these dark brown slippers.

Measured these slippers with old pair size 14 W(not LB) & they were 1-1 1/2 inches shorter. They were also narrower. Unfortunately they did not fit. Sending back. They look like a nice slipper & probably warm.

Bought these slippers on October 8th. It is not even 2 weeks old and it is a constant fight to keep the leather laces tied on the slippers. Constantly coming undone and some of the "fur" keeps coming out of the slippers where the laces are located. Have tripped a couple of times (twice) when the laces have come undone. What you buy is up to you, but would avoid them if possible. No matter how you tie them they come undone.
