Given to me as a gift, I believe that I've had them for 2 or 3 years.
Stitching on right Moccasin broke last winter.
No gift slip, no coverage..
This is NOT the Bean I've dealt with for 50 years!
Noted in my recommendation that BEAN added an extra star to my rating. I gave it one!

These moccasins were once wicked good and I'm wicked sad because they are garbage now. Been buying for hubs for decades. The past 2 pair have not lasted 6 months. Thought the first time it was a fluke. I replaced them and the new pair did the same. If I was a betting person I'll bet you'll be wicked disappointed. Living in SC-Born and raised in New England.

This is the first time this has happened to me, and I have been wearing these LL Bean moccasins for at least ten years
The seam (not the thick-stitched edges around the top of the shoe) along the sides of the shoe has a straight stitching along the length of the shoe. A three inch section came apart as it appears there wasn't enough suede material to join them together to form the seam. Very disappointed since I did like these moccasins a lot and wore this brand and style for many years.

I buy these as a gift every year for my nephew who absolutely loves them. This recent purchase for his birthday in November 21 have completely fallen apart. Top came apart and cannot even be worn any longer. Not sure what changed but the quality is very poor.

I've had a pair for eight years, finally all the cushion and worn out. Ordered new pair same size. My left foot must have grown or the moccasin got smaller the left one I'm unable to wear because it's so uncomfortable still using the old pair.

6 months and the slippers shrank and are unwearable. Lining is all clumped up too Not at all the quality as past slippers

The bottoms were very slippery on tile floors.
The bottoms flaked off in large chunks for no apparent reason.
Trying to upload two photos, without success.

They didn't fit so I returned them. I would have exchanged for a larger size but I did not like the appearance nor quality of the slipper.

Wicked, yes. Good? Not so much. An identification tag sewn into the seam between the sole and the side of the slipper is located in just the right place to be an irritant. It's like having a perpetual pebble in your shoe. I took one shoe out of the box, tried it on, found this problem, didn't bother taking the other shoe out of the box, repacked the first shoe, and sent it back where it came from. Would I recommend These slippers? Absolutely not.

Bought these slippers specifically because they came in Wide(EE). Even though they were tagged as such, these were NOT. They aren't even a D, they're a C at best. Very poor quality control in my mind. L.L Bean always used to have great stuff. Disappointed to say the least.

They're warm, fit well, stand up well to most of the abuse they'll face around the house, good for trips to the mailbox and only improve with age

I wear a 9 1/2 so I took a 10. Too large. Also, label in slipper uncomfortable.

Past purchases of this same slipper have been 5 star but this last purchase slipped through quality control with defective stitching on sole and cheap shearling? lining. Slippers were worn inside only, for about 6 months.
After contacting customer service only to be told they would not replace or issue a refund, I have no choice but to leave a poor review.

There is insufficient cushioning against the hard bottoms of the slipper. It hurt to wear them.

These slippers were amazingly warm and comfortable, but I was hugely disappointed when the stitching on one slipper ripped and the slipper tore when my adult son accidentally stepped on the heel as I was walking. I've always found LL Bean products to be sturdier than that, so it was very surprising and frustrating because the slippers weren't cheap.

Shoe was listed as extra wide and I barely got me toes into it. Probably mislabeled.

Poorly done. Stitching made shoes uneven...one fit; the other didn't. Not the quality I'd come to expect from L.L. Bean. Looks like their shift from American quality; to Myan-mar manufacturing has made them an unacceptable choice for me in the future. I've purchased numerous shoes from L.L. Bean over the years, but these will be my last.

Such a disappointment. I expected a product from Maine to be warm, but after the first wearing my husband abandoned the slippers. He said his feet were very cold, and his old Crocs were much warmer.

I had a pair from 2017 that lasted until this year, unfortunately I didn't have any copy of the receipt so I had to buy a new pair. That pair lasted at least four years and this current pair that I have has lasted only nine months. The lambswool has already started to rub off and expose the rubber sole. On top of that, I've never had an issue with smells and these are pretty terrible already. I suspect they changed the quality or distributer of the lambswool.

Shearling wore out in 3 months and at least 50% of the inside of the slipper was bald (this is with only wearing inside the house). After driving to the LL Bean store and being told that I wouldn't return the slippers (within the 1 year window). I emailed customer service and was allowed to exchange. Paid for the shipping to send/receive new pair (since going to the store was clearly a lost cause). I am now also getting a bill for sales tax, as if I didn't pay it with the original order in the same state. LL Bean quality and service aren't what they used to be.
