After wearing the Moccasins for 2 weeks one of the leather laces broke. Tried to replace it with another leather lace, impossible. Purchased a braided lace and after a bit of work and implements, success. Now to do the other moccasin to make them look even. grrr.

Not true yo size. Put a drawing of a foot and gave client measure, mark, and order corresponding shoe size- no matter what the size says. Order the shoe where your measured foot falls.

Great moc - impressed with the quality and great fit (as instructed I ordered a size 8 to fit my 9.5 actual shoe size). The moc is sturdy and solidly made. I should not have waited as long as I did to purchase.

ordered one size smaller, but still need heavy socks to make it fit. I ordered a narrow width but still a little too wide. With heavy socks does not shift too much when walking.

Have loved them for years. This is my third pair. First pair finally wore out, second pair became a snack for a young foster collie.

The Bean Mock Boot is a favorite of mine, my recent purchase is the 3rd pair over the years. No wet feet and easy slip on and off!

Got these 10 months ago. I love these shoes. Theyre perfect around the home for going outside to do simple tasks and walking the dogs. Especially when the weather is bad. One downside: Theyre not the most stable shoe because of the nature of what it is. Its a bean boot with no ankle support thats designed to slip on and be a little loose. Theyre clunky and have a heel. They can be unstable and are not adequate footwear if youre doing anything requiring a great degree of dexterity. Im a size 10 normally and got these in a 9 wide which was perfect. I wear them without socks like deck shoes or regular moccasins. They were still a bit tight up front at first but they wore in and now fit perfect. They actually stay pretty cool in the summer which was a surprise because they have no ventilation. The laces dont stay tied very well, but just dab a little shoe goo or hot glue on them once youve got them laced like you want and theyll stay put. Also, get yourself some of the shearling insoles. I picked up a pair last month and its been a great addition to this shoe for the cooler weather this fall. As for people saying they look goofy and like old lady shoes? With shorts they definitely do. If youre wearing pants though it just looks like youre wearing bean boots. LL Bean doesnt specify if theyll re-sole this shoe, but I cant see why not? Either way, for the price I will buy another pair when that time comes if they cant.

Smaller size fits better, still trying to figure socks to wear. Rawhide laces wont stay tied.

I was looking for something that I could slip on and go. Although this boot did that I did not like the comfort and felt that I needed something with a little more support. So it was returned.

I have several pairs of LL Bean boots and just bought these mocs. They are ok but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to tie them without the tongues just folding up when I snug the laces. All the mocs at the store had the laces strung one way and the picture on the web has them strung another way. Neither way allows the tongues to lay flat.

They Run very large. Purchased one size down and wide. This made them too large.

It has no way to tie the shoe tighter. The leather tie strings are too stiff and cannot be tied?

Nice shoes. However, my left shoe fits, but my right pinches my toes. To make it work, have a very thick sock on my left, and a very light sock on my right. This has never happened on my other shoes. Weird.

Excellent build quality! Comfortable width and nice arch support - enough, but not too much. I did order down one size from what I normally wear and I got the medium width, even though I generally buy wide shoes. Everything fit well, with one exception and that was a deal-killer. My heels slipped out of the Moc with every step. I tightened down the leather straps as much as possible and the Moc felt great until I took my first step. Then it was back to slipping off my heel again. This slipping was while wearing it in my house. I did not wear the Moc outdoors to the barn and in mud because I'm sure they would have come completely off my foot. I'm disappointed because I really wanted these to work.

My shoe size is a 10, but I had to get an size 8 to fit in this shoe. Don't buy online, buy in the store or you will be driving to UPS often! Learn how to measure LL Bean!

I am searching for a waterproof, slip-on, durable shoe. It has been a very long time since I've had an LL Bean shoe/boot and I wanted this one to work. I bought a full size down from my normal size. That ended up being PERFECT! But, try as I have, I cannot keep the heel of the shoe snug on my heel. I have adjusted the leather straps as tight as I dare and it works... for five minutes. Either I put up with my heel popping out of the shoe with every step, or I go in another direction. I could buy a lace-up shoe. But, I really want a slip-on, similar in utility as the Muck-brand garden shoes. Darn!

These run large, even larger than the 1 size down Bean recommends purchasing. Also, as others have noted, the heel is too large based on the size/width so there's a lot of movement there. However, I bought these mainly as "slip-ons" for rain/ light snow to run to the mailbox, garage, or go out with the dogs - I didn't want a snug fit. So I'm ignoring the somewhat sloppy sizing specs and keeping them. Otherwise the quality of the moc seems up to Bean standards so these should last a good while.

Men's Rubber Mocs are not available in half sizes, thereby making it difficult to get the right fit.

First time with this style so the lacing was an issue. As I pulled the laces tight the tongue would gather under the laces and was uncomfortable, to fix I took a scalpel and cut a small notch so the leather tongue fix around the lace. Issue fixed. Bought insulated insoles.

The fit is fine except for the heel. A lot of slippage. I wear 10 / 10.5 in regular shoes and ordered size 9.

Very difficult to size. I don't doubt the craftsmanship but I ended up having to order two sizes down and I still feel like they don't fit correctly.
