ordered one size smaller, but still need heavy socks to make it fit. I ordered a narrow width but still a little too wide. With heavy socks does not shift too much when walking.

Well built. Weird sizing. I normally wear size 12 or 12.5 but these shoes are a size 11. They took a while to get used to but I like them.

Got these 10 months ago. I love these shoes. They're perfect around the home for going outside to do simple tasks and walking the dogs. Especially when the weather is bad. One downside: They're not the most stable shoe because of the nature of what it is. It's a bean boot with no ankle support that's designed to slip on and be a little loose. They're clunky and have a heel. They can be unstable and are not adequate footwear if you're doing anything requiring a great degree of dexterity. I'm a size 10 normally and got these in a 9 wide which was perfect. I wear them without socks like deck shoes or regular moccasins. They were still a bit tight up front at first but they wore in and now fit perfect. They actually stay pretty cool in the summer which was a surprise because they have no ventilation. The laces don't stay tied very well, but just dab a little shoe goo or hot glue on them once you've got them laced like you want and they'll stay put. Also, get yourself some of the shearling insoles. I picked up a pair last month and it's been a great addition to this shoe for the cooler weather this fall. As for people saying they look goofy and like old lady shoes? With shorts they definitely do. If you're wearing pants though it just looks like you're wearing bean boots. LL Bean doesn't specify if they'll re-sole this shoe, but I can't see why not? Either way, for the price I will buy another pair when that time comes if they can't.

Smaller size fits better, still trying to figure socks to wear. Rawhide laces won't stay tied.

I really like these shoes. As others have said, they are sized large-- I've worn size 10 1/2 boots and shoes for at least 45 years, but these are a perfect in size 9. They're well built, and I expect will last for many years. The only thing I think could be improved upon is the tongue, which just doesn't quite work/fit/feel right. I have to tug them straight every time I put the shoes on, after several weeks of daily wear. I really expected them to have settled in, but they have not. Otherwise, these are perfect for daily wear around my little farm.

Should either offer upscale model with premium leather or use premium leather in all products and just charge more. The older models seemed to be a much better value. Good product, great look, but room for improvement.

The sizing is dramatically different from anything I have ever seen. Why is it all a size and a half too big. I wear these as slippers and had to reorder because ordering for my actual foot size was not even close. Normally I can just squeeze into a 12 eee shoe or boot, often only after stretching them with a boot stretcher for several days. The Bean 12 wide fell off my foot every time I took a step.

Would be nice if came smaller. I bought smallest mens size and still a size too big

Love the quality, color and design of the Rubber Moc. My husband wears these daily and last for one year on our farm. Good for summer, fall, winter (except when very cold) and best of all spring esp when the fields are wet. The reason for 4/5 stars is the sizing. He wears 10.5 in shoes/boots, we order size 9 in these, a bit tight on the ball of the foot on the sides but being rubber it will expand.

After reading all the reviews I ordered two sizes smaller than I normally wear and they fit. They definitely have a sizing issue. Some days they're comfortable and other days they hurt my feet. Not sure if that's a shoe issue but I don't have this problem with other shoes. I've had them for over a month and I've been pleased with their traction.

I have been purchasing for over 15 or 20 years only fault is hill wears out too soon. Only mud type shoe that comes in a narrow width that I have found. Lacing is weird but works.

The size is very large - at least one size greater than expected. I normally wear a 9 in a boot, but had to go to a 7 in this boot, and then that is a bit loose.

I really like the boots but unfortunately I really didn't think they would be as big as you said. You were correct. I put some heel pads in and they are fine now.

Definitely need to try these on before purchase. They run about two full sizes larger than shoe size. I wear a 10 shoe and purchased an 8. Great shoes once you get the right fit!

Size runs full size large. Buyer beware. I missed warning on web when ordering. Reordered and replaced. Nice kick around mocs in wet yard with mud. Ideal for garden and yard, rather than hiking.

Great slip on to keep next to the door to go outside in any weather for mail, firewood etc.

my rubber moc fit like a glove, as i intend not to wear socks with them, much like crocs. mocs run smallish,apparently. do order 1/2 size down. they wear loosely,as they cannot be snugged at the ankle, so keep that in mind.

The shoe looked and felt like good quality but did not fit. I wear size 11, ordered size 10 which was way too big. I am in the process of exchanging for a size 9.

Great mocs, sizes run VERY big, glad I tried on in-store. I am normally an 11-1/2 and found that a 10(!) was the right fit

These mocs are mostly great. They are waterproof and comfortable. My only concern is that one of them, on my slightly smaller foot, is loose in the heel. I could not use a narrower size, since the fit is good across the instep and toes, and the left foot fits fine. I think it may have to do with the stiff sole. I will keep them because I like them otherwise, and wear slightly heavier socks. Perhaps they will not slide in the heel after further break-in.

Great for taking the dog around the block. Easy to slip on, comfortable. I only wish they were a little lighter.
