Had these for two years now. After prompt delivery, they basically fit well: Length good. Width good. I normally wear 7.5D but 7 Moc fits fine with thick socks. But heel slipped out a lot while walking. Older review documenting the problem suggested adjusting/tightening the laces around the heel. Took sometime figuring out the plumbing but fix did the trick. No more flopping heel. Still not entirely comfortable during every day wear. My Bean boots are more comfortable. My Mocs sit by the door for taking out the garbage, picking up the paper, looking for the cats. But I still plan on keeping them forever though. Love the concept around them: Handmade in Maine, etc.

My husband had a pair of these for years and years He has been trying to get them replaced for 3 years now. The sizing is odd. He wears a 10.5 or 11 but it seems he will need a 9 in these. This size never seems to be in stock. They are made in Maine so I'm not sure why production can't be ramped up to cover an adequate supply of what I would consider to be a common size. Isn't a 10.5 the most common Men's size? He hung onto his old pair as long as he could while trying to replace them, but the bottom tread final went bald and wore a hole on one boot. We will keep trying!

Never had so much trouble with size of a shoe. I ware size 12 normal. My first order was my mistake when I ordered a 12. Sent them back and ordered a 11, way too big. Sent it back and ordered a 10, again to big. The construction of these shoes is excellent but seems there is a size problem. I sent the 10 back and gave up and looked else where.

Most negative reviews are for sizing and fit, and Bean refuses to update sizing scale on these (bad PR move imho). Maybe this will help future purchasers from paying for a return as I did. Bean boot/moc. Size 9 Allen Edmonds 10-10.5 depending upon last Ecco casual shoes. 44 (10-10.5 US) Hoka running shoes. 11.5

I wear a size 12 tennis shoe and a size 11 boot. I bought a size 10 moc. I had to tie the laces up so it would stay on my foot with a medium weight sock. Once the weather gets cold it should be fine with a heavier sock. Quality and construction is excellent

I was so excited to get these Mocs, with intention of wearing at college football tailgate where our spot is always: wet, damp and cold. I had to convert to men's size then I followed the guidelines for ordering based on medium weight sock and when I slipped them on they were perfect! But I wore them to run an errand (1-2 hours) and found the R shoe uncomfortable from pressing/ rubbing on joint at big toe. My all day tailgating plans for keeping dry and cozy was out of the question. I was so disappointed I haven't worn a second time yet, but I'm still glad I have them and will just be enjoying them in shorter durations. The LLBEAN craftsmanship is spot on and they are beauties! I know they will last and serve their purpose well in classic style. I would highly recommend to anyone considering them.

Why do you need to buy a different size of this line of products and not the rest of your footwear, don't you control what size is stated? Excellent colors.

Ordered size and a half smaller than usual shoe size. A bit too narrow across toes. Wide in heel. I think wide would fit better across toes but might cause to be too loose in heel

Trusted friend. When I shop elsewhere ( e.g. Brooks Brothers) I can never trust that the product will be exactly the same as I've bought before that's why I buy from LLBean!

The previous reviewers tips to get the shoes 2 sizes larger was spot on! They fit great. My only suggestion would be to come up with a better lacing/tying method.

I really like these Mocs, but believe them about the "order smaller". I've been a size10 forever, but ended up with 8's!

The shoe itself is fine. The leather trim will need some breaking in, but otherwise a nice shoe for gardening. What overshadows the shoe is the extremely annoying sizing. I followed the sizing recommendations/chart and ordered what I thought was the right size for my husband. Well, they were huge. Two attempts and $13 in return shipping fees, we found the right size, which is two sizes smaller than any other shoe my husband wears, including his LL Bean slippers.

These mocs replaced a worn out similar pair. However the new pair seem a little larger requiring much heavier socks or insoles.

I use these shoes for tending my chicken's when the weather is wet and the ground has been soaked. They work well and are a nice looking shoe. They are a tad narrow for me but still work fine and keep my feet dry.

This is my second pair. After about 8 years the rawhide laces started to break on the first pair. The tread on the heels was also pretty much worn off. However, I sent the new pair back to exchange for a size smaller. I wear an 8 and- a- half and size 9 was a little to big. Overall, I was well satisfied with them which is why I ordered a new pair.

Over many seasons: excellent for short jaunts to the barn to feed and water animals; the waterproof bottoms and water-shedding tops are vital. But for more general chores, especially any where steps are involved, their lack of flexibility can be hard on your feet.

Very convenient for my life style. In and out of the house all the time. I just kick them off when I come in and slip them on, no hands, when I go out. Four stars because I see no reason for the frivolous leather cord.
