I usually wear a size 9, but since LLBean recommended ordering a size down, I ordered a size 8. The shoe fit perfect.

I ordered these shoes due to my past experience on the quality of LL Bean products and I guess I am just one of those folks who was not meant to have this product. The quality of the shoes were as advertised and I ordered the size suggested (I wear a size 8 1/2 so ordered a size 7) and it was significantly too large. For those that purchase this shoe believe LL Bean guide in ordering! As a result I could not determine if the width was right so gave the width true to size with the expectation of determining how the width sized when I received what I thought was the correct sizing. I returned them not realizing size 7 was the smallest size made as I was hoping to wear the next size smaller. LL Bean credited my credit card with a refund in six days from the date I returned them. Again I will state follow their guidance on what size to order, but realistically beware it maybe the the wrong size. This is the first time I have had to return a product I had purchased from LL Bean in the nearly 40 years I have shopped with them to include in store purchase.

Same great shoe I have had previously until I ran it into the ground. Did not know you had a military discount. Can I still get it on this purchase?

You will love these shoes! Just trust all the reviews advising to order smaller than your regular size. I wear a 13 D in most everything. I was so tempted to order 1 size down, however, went two sizes down! My 11's fit perfectly, not too tight at all! Just wish LL Bean would adjust to standard size descriptions.

I have bought 4 pair of these over the years, I wear them most every day until they wear out and I buy another pair ( usually after 3 years ) They are the best, Comfortable, waterproof , stylish . I will buy them again and again. Did I mention , Made in USA !

LL Bean Rubber Bean Boot----2020, 1990, 1970---doesn't change. This is the shoe that my grandfather and father would have bought and I have two tiny grand babies and they can be buying them in 2045. Comfortable for daily wear, 100% watertight, unchangingly classic look. Tricky to buy on line when you can't try different sizes...I went a full size down and am still a little roomy, but a Dr. Scholl insert fixed that. Hard to believe they are still made in the US at a decent price---compared to Sperry made abroad, more closely and not in the same league. Hooray for classics.

Like the song (Led Zeppelin), I have always had a pair of these since I was a kid (over 50+ years ago). This newest pair seems to be exactly like the first pair, except in size. Same fit, same style, same everything. These "ain't broke" and I appreciate them remaining the same. These shoes are NOT fancy. They are not the ones I use for hunting or sledding etc. These are the perfect shoes for slipping onto check the mail, take the dog out, empty the garbage, a quick run to the store, from the house to car to office where I change into my "office shoes", etc. I currently live in Seattle, WA, but am from the Lake Placid, NY, region. Rain, snow, or mud these are what you want. They are water proof, bullet proof, last forever. This new pair isn't because the last ones wore out, it because we moved and they got "lost" in the process. So, if you're looking for a great pair of all around casual "weather" shoes, these are it. Look no further!

They fit great. I sized down as recommended. I bought these for doing yard work and taking the dog out when the ground is wet, muddy, or snowy, but I end up wearing them more often. Easy to get on, and they look nice. The only hard part was figuring out a way I liked them tied. I finally got it down after a few tries.

I normally wear a 9.5 shoe and had to order an 8 to fit properly. Once I received the 8 it was perfect with my mid-weight socks. They are absolutely comfortable and I can wear them all day with out any comfort issues. I certainly would buy again if I need a second pair.

Very well made. Fit as described. I usually wear a 10 1/2 (Tims) or an 11 ( Bean slippers) so I ordered a size 9, as recommended by an online chat with Bean rep. They fit perfectly. Wife is jealous so I have to order her a pair now.

Have used mocs in winter conditions (light snow, rain and mud) for about a month. Reviews warned that product was large for size mentioned so I ordered a 9 extra wide for an 8.5 extra wide foot. Moc fits just fine (loose to accommodate sox). Been an LL Bean fan for 40 years and remain so.

I bought these boots for outdoor farm chores and I have to say they have been working out great for me. I have a pinched nerve in my foot so I cannot wear boots that are too tight. I ordered extra wide and a half a size larger than I usualy get in shoes, so there is plenty of room for my feet and for wool socks if I need them. With or without socks they are easy to slip on and off. The more I wear them the more I like them.

The Bean Boots waterproof mocs are perfect for quick walks in the rain or snow. They're comfortable & easy to put on & take off. The chain tread on the soles provides an excellent non-slip bonus. Please pay particular attention to the sizing information. You'll need to size down at least a full size for a good fit.

These shoes are just what I needed to slip on quickly and go outside to get wood or even shovel the driveway. They are very well made with waterproof rubber soles and a very thick leather upper. Would highly recommend these shoes

I was a little apprehensive about getting these boots, but since I love my other taller bean boots, I knew I could not go wrong. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever put on my feet straight out of the box. Be sure to read about sizing. I usually wear a 9.5 wide. I ordered an 8 wide. So glad I did. Great sizing. Again, could not be happier

These run a little big BUT not if you wear a winter socks. Strong suggestion to wear thick socks because these are unlined....so your feet will get cold if you wear them sock free. Well worth the price point and looks awesome.

I purchased these for my husband for Christmas, as the pair he wears is probably 30 years old! However, I have to exchange them. I bought a 10, his normal size and they were way too big. We checked the old ones, and could barely discern the size, but they are a size 9. Purchase a size down!

Been wearing these for about 50 years. Great for light snow, rain and mud. Easy to slip into. They hold up until the treads wear smooth--which for me is about 10 years. I often wear them with rag wool socks in the winter. You need socks that are a bit thick for a good fit.

I knew to order a half size smaller. Nice to wear around the house because I can slip into them without the back folding over. Can walk to mailbox in the rain. Only problem is I am wearing down the very back of the heel because I heel strike.

This is the fourth pair of L.L. Bean boots in my house. I will probably use these for just run around town shoes when it's raining or something Just to slip on. I'm big fans of all of L.L.Bean's boots but I imagine these are probably get the most use out of all of them.
