The boot or moccasin is of high quality construction and should last many years. The size is an issue: My toe is where it should be in a proper fit, but the moccasin flops when wearing thin socks or no socks. A half size would not help. I must use extra heavy socks to minimize this issue. I read another review where the laces were tied in a different manner so I tried that and seemed help also.

Great shoe boots. Smart looking green. I wear a 12 but got an 11 and they fit great with rag wool socks. Awesome buy

I have worn Bean boots for over 40 years. I am a hard charger and I like nothing better than slipping these boots on and not slowing down. I have gotten over 10 years of wear out of every pair purchased. At 75 years old this may be my last pair.

My husband loves them for when he is working in his veggie garden. Hopefully, they will be just as great when we have a light snow this winter! Originally, I ordered his regular shoe size but found that I should have read the size chart that LLBean suggested.- they turned out to be a perfect fit and another great product from LLBean!

These boots I have dreamed about for 39 years. When my kids were babies I wanted a pair but baby things took precedent. I recently recieved some extra income and used a bit for these. They are the warmest, softest, most comfortable low rise, slip on boots I have ever had! They did not disappoint! They run a little long but will be perfect for my wool socks this fall and early winter. Thank you so much. The workmanship is beyond reproach.

an extremely comfortable shoe. I wear mine around the yard in wet weather, to take the dog out at night, as they easily slip on and off when I am half asleep. I have put many miles of trail walking on them in the short time I have had them. A great shoe to wear around town running errands and such.Well worth the money as are all Beans products.

I am a size 9.5 and ordered an 8 as suggested . The fit is perfect ! I could not be happier with everything about the purchase .

Bean rubber mocs are something special in the 21s century. Made in Maine USA, Incomparable quality, fit, appearance, durability. They are arguably a lifetime purchase since they can be reconditioned. Worth every penny.

These are amazing. Right out of the box you will be impressed with the thickness and quality of the rubber. Its not like a cheap water boot, its thick, yet soft. These are easy to slip on and do things around the back yard. The rubber in the heel absorbs shock well. This is such a neat option to have a moccasin like this. I also love how they give you a card with the persons name of who made it. These will last for at least 75 years. Hope I am around to buy a new pair then. Haha. Worth the money. Iconic too.

These are part duck shoe and part slip on. Taking dog outside, opening up chicken coop in morning dawn, driving to the store in lake effect snows, these are the right shoe. Problem out of the box for many people is a loose shell which feels sloppy. Tightening laces improves the fit but leads to problematic folding of the tongue. Solution: change the location of the simple tie from on top of the shoe (shown in catalog photos) , to under the flap. By lacing and tightening in this manner, a snug fit is obtainable. If you like the lose fit great, If you want tighter fit, it is a simple step away. I find once i get the right knot location, the shoes remain tied and i slip them on easily but more snugly

After all these years I finally broke down and got a pair. The size guide was spot on. I don't wear socks here in Florida so I put a sole liner in and their perfect. Very happy with them.

These are long wearing, and very comfortable. I am a repeat customer, I get a new pair every few years.

Perfect construction and design, as expected from L.L. Bean products. But believe the reviews and fit recommendations: Order a full size smaller than you normally wear. i initially ordered a 9-D; HUGE! Returned for a size 8-D; Perfect.

comfortable, great fit and looking for years of comfort

These outdoor shoes are so good that I ordered a 2nd pair !!! I wore these shoes in May - July building a greenhouse, which has a 3-4" concrete floor. I was up and down on ladders, mixing concrete and all other things in my L.L. Bean mocs - GREAT OUTDOOR SHOES !!!

My husband has been wearing these mocs for 35 years. They keep his feet dry year round for all kinds of tasks around the yard. They wear like iron and are very comfortable. I've had several pairs myself. Loved them, too!

This shoe truly is ready for what ever weather Wisconsin can throw at it...just don't spill your spotted cow!!

I've been buying this style of Rubber Moc for years. Each pair lasts me at least 10 years and I love them for every day yard & lawn work. I was happy to see them actually offering another color for men and hope to see a few more color options in the future, (Black and/or Blue). Absolutely great boots.

The product is awesome, and very comfortable. Just wish they had half sizes available. The size 10 that was purchased ran quite large. I usually wear a 10.5 to 11 shoe size. The range can be reduced to have a more suitable fit.

I stayed away from these shoes because I assumed the rubber would make my feet hot. They keep my feet warm and comfortable. They are very easy to take on and off. The bottoms are surprisingly easy to keep clean. I take pictures by lakes and the goose feces is a problem. My old shoes required way to much work to clean. These shoes practically clean themselves. I couldn't be happier with them.

I only recall my Dad ever buying one pair of Bean Mocs and he had them for decades. So versatile to slip on to run outside quick in poor weather to fetch mail, eggs or whatever. I was always slipping his on to run out to tend the chickens, work in the garden, etc.. Pay attention to ordering instructions as they do run a little large to allow for heavy socks. Love them!!

Shoe style version of the Bean Boot is great for mud season. The recommendation to order a size smaller than usual is accurate. The size 10 fit my size 11 foot perfectly.
